A geosynchronous Satellite in general, has two momentum management logics to maintain its wheel momentum tin the stable region. The one is applied in order to control accumulative wheel momentum in the momentum dumping mode and the other is utilized in order to control attitude errors during the stationkeeping. In this paper, the momentum management logics are explained for dumping/sationkeeping mode and the logics are verified by simulation on the 3 attitude subsystem.

The external disturbance torque acting on a low earth orbit spacecraft was analyzed. For the Earth pointing attitude, the maximum torque to the spacecraft is about $8.3{\times}10^{-4}$ Nms and the momentum accumulated for an orbit is about 1.4 Nms and for the Sun pointing attitude, the maximum torque to the spacecraft is about $1.6{\times}10^{-3}$ Nms and the momentum is accumulated about 3.0 Nms in the spacecraft body reference frame. The analysis results confirm that the size of magnetic torquer selected previously for the satellite is sufficient to manage the accumulated momentum by considering the dumping capacity for an orbit.

Purpose: The proper reconstruction technique to use after a distal subtotal gastrectomy for a gastric carcinoma, there has been a subject for debated what is the proper reconstruction technique. The aim of this study was to compare the gastricemptying time and the quality of life following both B-I and B-II reconstructions after a distal gastrectomy for a gastric adenocarcinoma. Materials and Methods: We studied 122 patients who had undergone a distal gastrectomy for a gastric adenocarcinoma between June 1999 and July 2002 at our hospital. 51 patients underwent B-I group, and 71 patients underwent B-II group. To evaluate the gastric-emptying time, we analyzed the T1/2 time by means of radionuclide scintigraphy using a gamma camera after ingestion of an $^{99m}Tc$-tin-colloid steamed egg. The nutritional status was measured by the weight change. Postgastrectomy syndrome was evaluated using an abdominal symptoms survey. Dumping syndrome was measured using the Sigstad dumping score. Results: The gastric-emptying time was somewhat delayed in the B-I group after a 6 month period, but there was no difference after 12 months between the two groups. There was less weight loss in the B-I group than in the B-II group (P=0.023). Fewer abdominal symptoms were occurred in the B-I group than in the B-II group. Dumping syndrome occurred less frequently in the B-I group than in the B-II group (P=0.013). Conclusion: In our study, the Billroth I reconstruction led to less weight loss, a better nutritional status, and a better quality of life than the Billroth II reconstruction. We concluded that after a distal subtotal gastrectomy, the Billroth I reconstruction would be considered when the procedure is oncologically suitable.

Since late 2016, protectionism has been a major trend in world trade with the Great Britain exiting the European Union and the United States electing Donald Trump as the 45th president. Consequently, there has been a huge public outcry regarding the negative prospects of heavy industry firms in Korea, which are highly dependent upon international trade with Western countries including the United States. In light of such trend and concerns, we have tried to predict business performance of heavy industry firms in Korea with data regarding trade policy of the United States. United States International Trade Commission (USITC) levies countervailing duties and anti-dumping duties to firms that violate its fair-trade regulations. In this study, we have performed data analysis with past records of countervailing duties and anti-dumping duties. With results from clustering analysis, it could be concluded that trade policy trends of the Unites States significantly affects the business performance of heavy industry firms in Korea. Furthermore, we have attempted to quantify such effects by employing long short-term memory (LSTM), a popular neural networks model that is well-suited to deal with sequential data. Our major contribution is that we have succeeded in empirically validating the intuitive argument and also predicting the future trend with rigorous data mining techniques. With some improvements, our results are expected to be highly relevant to designing regulations regarding heavy industry in Korea.

The dumping syndrome has been a known complication of gastric surgery in adults, but it is recognized as a very rare disease in the pediatric population, especially in Korea. We report a case of dumping syndrome in a 10-month-old infant, who underwent Nissen fundoplication for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux(GER). He was admitted because of aspiration pneumonia, and diagnosed as GER by 24-hour ambulatory esophageal pH monitoring test. For the treatment of GER, Nissen fundoplication was performed. After the operation, symptoms occurred within 30 minutes of meals, such as diaphoresis, palpitation, weakness, abdominal fullness, nausea, and diarrhea. The gastric emptying scan showed very rapid gastric emptying. His oral glucose tolerance tests revealed early-onset hyperglycema followed by delayed-onset hypoglycemia, which was the characteristic finding of the dumping syndrome. We introduced uncooked cornstarch to resolve symptoms and maintain the serum glucose level. After the feeding of uncooked cornstarch, his symptoms subsided and normal oral glucose test was restored. After the six months of treatment, his weight and height were increased dramatically from below 3 percentiles up to the normal range. The dumping syndrome should be considered when an infant suffers from the feeding difficulties after the gastric surgery like Nissen fundoplication, and the diet therapy including uncooked cornstarch could be applied as an effective measure.

The analysis of slope stability was performed from seven sites among total eleven sites of waste rock which are divided into two objects (mullock-pile and rock mass) according to the location of dumping-dropping point in L limestone Mine. The analysis of circular failure using Bishop's simplified method and the finite element method for mullock-pile slopes were adopted. For rock mass slopes, identification of failure modes on stereonet projection was determined, thereby limit equilibrium analysis was applied to obtain the safety factor of slopes and the finite element method was used to understand overall behavior of slope. Phi-c reduction method was used to calculate the safety factor of slopes through the finite element method. In mullock-pile slope of zone D and rock slopes of zone F and G, the assurance of slope stability was difficult, and the plans to assure the stability of slopes were proposed on the basis of the analysis of slopes at disposal sites of waste rock. Therefore, the method of piling with waste rock by dozer pushing after dumping for mullock-pile slope of zone D is required, and the method of piling after moving to the place which has no fault zone for rock slope of zone F and G is recommended.

건설공사 하도급계약의 투명성을 제고하기 위해 하도급공사정보망이 구축돼 올해 말 본격 가동에 들어갈 예정이다. 건설교통부는 불법하도급을 뿌리 뽑기 위해 하도급 관련사항을 실시간으로 파악, 원.하도급 계약과정의 투명성을 확보하기 위해 건설산업정보망 내에 하도급공사정보망 구축을 추진하고 있다. 하도급공사정보망은 건설산업정보망의 일부분으로 일괄하도급, 덤핑입찰을 일삼는 부실업체를 퇴출시키고 견실한 건설업체는 출혈.저가경쟁 없이 시공에만 전념할 수 있도록 하기 위해 건교부가 지난 2005년부터 지속적으로 보완.구축 중인 야심작이다.

우리 협회는 건축설계의 국제 경쟁력 강화와 건축설계시장의 정상화를 위하여 최선의 노력을 경주하고 있음에도 불구하고, 건설경기 침체, 설계ㆍ감리시장의 무질서 등으로 인하여 과당경쟁과 덤핑이 만연하고 있다. 이로 인해 건축에 있어서 공공성의 훼손이 심각하게 우려되고 있다. 이에 우리 협회는 "건축설계의 사회적, 문화적, 경제적 기능과 건축에 대한 정부 인식의 문제점"등을 되짚어 보는 좌담회를 개최하여 각계의 의견을 듣고 적극적인 대처방안을 마련하는 계기로 삼고자 한다.
