EDISON CFD를 이용한 저속비대선용 반원형 덕트 에너지 저감장치의 변수연구

  • 연료효율에 대한 선주들의 요구와 그린쉽이라는 사회적 흐름에 맞춰 현재 연료 절감 장치에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 KVLCC2M의 반류개선 및 연료효율 증가를 위한 반원형 덕트의 변수 연구를 진행하였으며, 계산의 신뢰도를 검증하기 위해 서울대학교 선박저항성능 연구실에서 실시한 모형 시험결과와 비교하였다. 반원형 덕트의 크기와 길이방향 위치를 설계변수로 설정하여, 총 12가지 경우에 대한 CFD 계산을 시행하였으며, 계산 결과를 유동 정류를 통한 저항 감소와 반류 개선을 통한 프로펠러의 성능 개선 이라는 두 가지 기준으로 최적 조건을 선정하였다. 또한, 후처리를 통해 계산 결과를 추가적으로 분석하여 에너지 절감의 이론적인 배경을 찾았으며, 이를 바탕으로 반원형 덕트를 개선하여 부채꼴형 덕트를 새로이 설계하였다. 이에 대한 추가적인 계산 결과 최대 4%의 연료절감 효과를 최종 확인하였다.

A Study on the Development of a Duct-dedicated Intelligent Fire Detection System (덕트전용 지능형 화재감지시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This research was done to develop a duct-dedicated intelligent fire detection system to prevent fires and minimize fire damage of the industrial duct having a high fire risk. To understand the fire hazards of the ducts, the analysis was centered on the Daegu Textile Industrial Complex, where industrial ducts are used frequently. With this in the background, dedicated fire detectors and fire alarm control panel, which can prevent fires and to minimize fire damages to the ducts, were designed and produced, after which the performance was confirmed. As a result of performance experiments, it was shown that a duct-dedicated intelligent fire detection system had excellent adaptability and temperature accuracy. Through real-time temperature monitoring of the inside of the ducts, it was confirmed that duct fires could be efficiently extinguished by stepwise control of linkage facilities according to the setting temperature.

  • Software Product Line Engineering is a collection of techniques that analyze the commonalities and variabilities of the products within a product family and produce products using such information. In Software Product Line Engineering, construction of the correct core assets is very important. To accomplish this, the commonalities and variabilities must first be definitively identified, both to provide traceability between the core assets, and to guarantee the reliability of the products. This paper suggests software product line development and test processes based on CVL for the differentiation of commonalities and variabilities. The proposed approach enables correct building of the core assets through procedures to keep traceability and guarantee the reliability of the products.

A Study on the Influence of S Shaped Annular Duct on the Centrifugal Compressor Performance (S자형 환형덕트가 원심압축기 성능에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • In twin spool aero-engine, there may be a S shaped annular duct between high pressure and low pressure spools. The flow passing this S shaped duct experiences the flow acceleration and deceleration due to the convex and concave surface of the duct as well as the increase of blockage according to the boundary layer growth along the surfaces. So, the high pressure compressor which is located behind the S shaped duct is influenced by the non-uniform flow field generated by the geometry of inlet duct. To study the influence of the S shaped duct on the centrifugal stage, performance tests were implemented for the compressor with straight cylindrical inlet duct and with S shaped inlet duct, respectively. The test results showed that the performance, such as pressure ratio and efficiency, of the compressor with S shaped duct was worse than that of the compressor with cylindrical duct. And the compressor with S shaped duct had reduced maximum flow rate around design speed. To investigate the cause of performance degradation, flow anlaysis was performed for the impeller in front of which is located S shaped annular duct. The result of CFD showed the strong acceleration of the flow in the axial direction around the inducer tip region which caused the increase of relative mach number and the decrease of incidence angle of the flow.

Improving the Distribution of Temperature by a Double Air Duct in the Air-Heated Plastic Greenhouse (시설내 온도분포 균일화를 위한 온풍난방기용 2중 덕트개발)

  • Air temperature variation along the length of the air duct in an air-heated plastic greenhouse was large, 13 ~ 15$^{\circ}C$ between the front and the rear side of a greenhouse. To reduce this temperature variation, a new PE-film air duct having a small duct inside a large duct (double duct) was developed. This double duct was consisted of an inner duct with air outlets at a 0.15 m interval and an outer duct with air outlets at a 2.5 m interval. Diameters of the air outlet holes were 7, 15, and 35 cm from the front to the end of the inner duct film, while identical 10 cm holes were used on the outer duct film. As a result, air temperature was $46^{\circ}C$ at the beginning side and $47^{\circ}C$ at the ending side, while the conventional single duct had $53^{\circ}C$ at the beginning point and $38^{\circ}C$ at the ending point with a variation of $15^{\circ}C$. Height of a cucumber crop grown in a greenhouse with the new double air duct system was 65.5 cm, 14% increase as compared to that in a greenhouse with a conventional air duct system. Total fruit yield per l0a greenhouse in a greenhouse with the new double air duct system was 4,616 kg, which was 17% greater than that in a greenhouse with a conventional air duct system. Amount of heating oil consumption during March 3 to April 24, 2002 was 3,233 L per l0a greenhouse with the new double air duct system, which was 13% less than that with a conventional air duct system.

Numerical Investigation of Aerodynamic Characteristics of a Ducted Fan-Vane Configuration and Improvement of Control Performance in Hover (덕트 팬-베인 형상의 제자리 비행 공력 특성 및 조종 성능 개선에 관한 수치적 연구)

  • In the present study, numerical simulation was performed to investigate aerodynamic characteristics of a ducted fan-upper/lower vanes system in hover. Sensitivity analysis of aerodynamic forces for a system component was conducted with the deflection angle of upper vanes varying but at the constant rotational speed and the collective pitch angle of fan blades. Then, vane control performance and duct airload distributions were analyzed in detail to physically understand operating mechanisms of individual vane and interference effect between duct and vanes. Finally, new control concept of operating upper vanes has been proposed to improve the control performance of the full configuration. It is found that the side force and rolling moment of upper vanes increase linearly with the variation of those deflection angle; however, the total side force is significantly small due to the reaction force acted on the duct. It is also found that upper vanes close to the duct contraction side have a key role in changing vane control forces. It is revealed that the duct suction pressure is induced by the interaction with the suction side of upper vanes, while duct pressure recovery by the interaction with the pressure side, leading to increase in duct asymmetric force. When four upper vanes are kept in situ at 0° deflection angle or removed, the total control performance was improved with duct asymmetric force reduced and the total magnitude of roll remarkably increasing up to 80%.

Adaptive active control in a duct using multiple models (다중 모델 기법을 이용한 덕트에서의 적응능동소음제어)

  • 덕트에서의 능동소음감쇄 문제를 다루었다. 음향귀환이 있는 경우의 덕트를 중첩의 원리를 이용하여 모델링하였다. 본 논문에서 다루어진 능동소음제어를 위한 덕트모델은 consistent하다고 가정했다. 스피커와 오차 마이크로폰 사이의 2차 경로 전달함수를 추정하기 위한 새로운 알고리즘을 제안했으며 제안된 알고리즘은 기존의 알고리즘보다 계산양이 작아 다중 채널 능동소음제어에도 이용될 수 있으리라 생각된다. 제안된 알고리즘의 효율성을 보이기 위하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 행했다.

공조덕트용 능동소음제어 장치

  • 이 글은 평면파 소음의 감소 성능을 향상시키고 고차모드로 전달되는 소음의 감소도 가능한 공 조덕트용 능동소음제어장치의 개발에 대하여 논하였으며, 실험결과 개발된 능동소음제어장치의 성능 및 안전성이 기 상품화되어 있는 외국의 제품에 비해 손색없이 뛰어남을 발견하였다. 능 동소음제어장치는 앞으로 고도의 청정, 정숙환경이 요구되는 반도체공장, 방송국 등에 폭넓은 적용이 기대되며, 기존의 흡음처리 대책보다 설치, 보수 및 유지가 간편하다. 특히 덕트내 주요 소음원인 블로워의 소음특성이 저주파 부근에 에너지가 집중되어 있음을 고려할 때 능동소음제 어기술의 공조덕트내 소음제어에의 적용은 매우 효과적이며 경제적일 것으로 기대된다.

A study on the acoustic performance evaluation of heat recovery ventilator with a sound absorbing duct (흡음덕트 부착 열회수형 환기장치의 음향성능 평가에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the acoustic problems of the conventional heat recovery ventilator and to suggest the methods of noise reduction from a heat recovery ventilator according to the installed location. The noise level, in this study, was measured and discussed as the parameters of size, wind volume and sound absorbing duct length for a heat recovery ventilator based on domestic and international related standards. It is found, as a result, that almost all of noise levels from the small and medium heat recovery ventilators without the sound absorbing duct in the anechoic chamber were higher than the noise standard value of 50 dB(A) regardless of the wind volume, and the noise levels went down when a sound absorbing duct was installed. In addition, the sound pressure level relative to frequency bands according to the length of sound absorbing duct was generally decreased, as the length of sound absorbing duct in the small and medium heat recovery ventilators was big, and the sound pressure level was generally increased, as the wind volume was great.

  • 본 연구에서는 일반적인 능동소음제어 방법을 적용할 수 없는 길이가 짧은 덕트에 대해서 하나의 마이크로폰고 스피커로 제어할 수 있는 SISO (Single Input Single Output)을 적용한 실시간 제어기의 구현과 성능평가에 대해서 기술하였다. 길이가 짧은 덕트를 대상으로 실험한 결과 전체적으로 1.4dBA의 소음저감을 얻었다
