  • The die technology of a high-efficiency induction motor is an important technology for manufacturing the core (iron core), which is the major part of a high-efficiency induction motor. It is also an essential technology in enhancing national competitiveness. In this study, the core of a high-efficiency induction motor was designed and manufactured as 2 prototype dies: one is for small-size, and the other is for large-size. They are then tested by attaching in press, the result are considered.

  • In this study, the authors analyzed the limit of IOPC Fund system, such as limit of compensation, amount of FC, long period of assessment by IOPC Fund, issue of non verification by poor claimant or small business, issue of poor claimant subsistence in early stage of accidents, and comparatively analyzed how the three countries resolved these limits by enacting special laws and government policy. Until recently most governments have carried out prevention policy for maritime safety, oil spill response, investigation of maritime accidents, and restoration of marine environment when oil spill accidents happened. However, governments have not actively participated in the oil spill compensation process because it is a matter of private sectors between the polluter and claimant. The governments have only limited their role in ratifying Civil Liability Convention and Fund Convention and enacted relevant domestic laws. However, the governments of France, Spain, and Korea have actively participated in the compensation process of oil pollution incidents of M/T Erika, M/T Prestige, and M/T Hebei Spirit. This is because they had experiences of unsuccessful compensation in M/T Amoco Cadiz, M/T Agean Sea, and M/T Sea Prince.

  • The electric vehicle market is developing rapidly around the world. Also, parts of electric vehicles require precision.In order to produce high-precision motor cores,Press equipment must also have good precision. Drive motor cores are an important technology for electric vehicles. It uses a large high-speed press to mass-produce drive motor cores. Because it's a large high-speed press, there are many reasons why the precision is not good. One of the causes is vibration and noise. Recently, as environmental demands have become stricter, regulations on noise and vibration have been strengthened. It is important for press machines to reduce vibration first for sound insulation and dust proofing. This is because the "breakthrough" phenomenon occurs in the press. Dynamic precision is the precision under the load of the press, Design considering strain and stiffness shall be made. Vibration and noise may occur due to SPM of high-speed press,And vibration and noise can cause structural deformation of the press. Structural deformation of the press can affect the precision of the product.Noise and vibration also cause problems for workers and work environments. Problems with vibration and noise occur during press processing, and vibration and noise lead to damage to the mold or defects in the product. Reliability in high-quality technology must be secured with low noise and low vibration during press processing. Modular shape and deformation energy effects were analyzed through finite element analysis. In this study, a study on vibration and noise countermeasures was conducted through finite element analysis of a large high-speed press.

  • The EV electric vehicle market is growing rapidly worldwide. An electric vehicle means a vehicle that uses energy charged through an electricity source as power. The precision of the press is important to mass-produce the drive motor, which is a key component of the electric vehicle. The size of the driving motor is increasing, and The size of the mold is also growing. In this study, the precision of large high-speed presses for mass production of driving motors was measured. A study was conducted on the measurement method of press and the analysis of measurement data. A drive motor is a component that transmits power by converting electrical energy into kinetic energy. EV driven motors have key material properties to improve efficiency. The material properties are the thickness of the material. As a method for improving performance, use a 0.2mm thin steel sheet. Mold is also becoming larger. As the mold grows, the size of the high-speed press for mass production of the driving motor is also increasing. Also, the precision of the press is the most important because it uses a thin iron plate material. So the importance of large press precision is being emphasized.   • 선박의 선체부분인 선수, 선미 등을 이루고 있는 곡형 외판의 제작은 강판을 원하는 형상으로 성형하기 위하여 벤딩롤러 및 유압프레스를 이용한 냉간가공과 산소-프로판가스 화염을 적용한 선상가열, 삼각가열을 이용한 열간가공으로 크게 구분할 수 있다. 선상가열을 이용한 곡면가공의 원리는 가열토치를 이용하여 강판을 가열하면 가열부는 팽창하게 되고 냉각시에는 수축하게 된다. 이 때 두께방향으로의 소성변형으로 인한 수축량의 차이로 인해 굽혀지게 된다. 최근에는 선박이 고기능 및 대형화로 인해 3차원 곡형 외판 형상이 복잡해지고, 강도를 향상시키기 위하여 합금원소(C, Nb, V, Ti)를 첨가하거나 열처리(노말라이징)를 이용한 고장력강재인 중후판의 적용이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 고강도강재를 선상가열공정으로 제작한 곡형 외판재는 가열, 냉각의 열사이클로 인해 취화되어 인성이 저하 될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 Normalizing 열처리재인 490MPa급 강재를 이용하여, 현장에서 작업자의 미숙련으로 인해 발생 할 수 있는 최대의 가혹한 조건과 재질에 큰 영향을 미치지 않는 범위를 선정하여 선상가열시의 가열, 냉각조건에 따른 강재의 재질특성을 조사하고자 한다. 이를 위해 가열시 가열부위의 정확한 온도 측정에 역점을 두었으며, 각각 다른 선상가열 조건에 따른 시편을 제작하기 위하여 선상가열 실험장치를 제작하였다. 선상가열 실험 결과 최고가열온도 $1300^{\circ}C,\;950^{\circ}C$에서 수냉 조건인 경우 급격한 인성저하 현상이 발생하며 비록 공냉이라 하더라도 결정립 조대화로 인성 저하가 발생하였다. $800^{\circ}C$가열 후 수냉개시온도를 $700^{\circ}C$이하로 수냉한 경우에는 인성 저하 현상이 개선되고 있음을 알 수 있다.

Evaluation of plastic flow curve of pure titanium sheet using hydraulic bulge test (유압벌지실험을 이용한 순 티탄늄 판재의 소성유동곡선 평가(제2보))

  • In this study, the plastic flow curve of commercially pure titanium sheet (CP Ti) actively used in the plate heat exchanger etc., was evaluated. The plastic flow curve known as hardening curve is a key factor needed in conducting finite element analyses (FEA) for the forming process of a sheet material. A hydraulic bulge test was performed on the CP Ti sheet and the strain in this test was measured using the DIC method and ARAMIS system. The measured true stress-true strain curve from the hydraulic bulge test (HBT) was compared with that from the tensile test. The measured true stress-true strain curve from the hydraulic bulge test showed stable plastic flow curve over the strain range of 0.7 which cannot be obtained in the case of the uniaxial tensile test. The measured true stress-true strain curve from the hydraulic bulge test can be fitted well by the hardening equation known as the Kim-Tuan model.
