Simulation & Validation of Lubricating Oil Fire in Nuclear Power Plant Pump Room (원전 펌프실 윤활유화재 분석 및 확인에 관한 연구)

  • 화재방호에 성능기반 개념을 도입함에 따라 화재모델링의 활용도는 점점 높아지고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 FDS를 이용하여 원자력발전소 펌프실의 윤활유 화재 시 케이블의 손상여부를 평가하고, 확인분석을 통해 화재모델링의 적합성을 파악하는 데 있다. 화재는 펌프 주변의 누출된 윤활유에서 발생하며 화원의 면적은 $2.75m^2$이고 단위면적당 열방출율은 $1,794kW/m^2$로 가정하였다. 계산결과, 고온기체층의 온도는 $400^{\circ}C$를 상회하고 있으나 케이블 트레이의 온도는 $50^{\circ}C$ 아래로 예측되고 있어 본 화재시나리오에서 케이블의 건전성은 유지되고 있으며 밀폐된 격실에서의 대형화재는 환기지배형 화재가 된다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 또한 확인분석 결과, 화재 시나리오의 주요 변수인 열방출율, 격실크기 그리고 강제 환기 변수가 확인계산 범위 내에 있어 본 계산결과는 NUREG-1824의 확인요건을 만족하고 있다. 따라서 펌프실 윤활유 화재에 대한 모델링의 적합성을 확인하였다.

A Study on the Problems and Character for Management of Fire Prevention at the Wholesale Markets (도매시장 화재안전관리 측면에서의 특성 및 취약요소에 관한 연구)

  • There are lots of buildings with their deterioration in wholesale markets which have high concentration that can cause big fire due to difficulty of installing fire protection system in fire compartment, absence of safety awareness, access by many and unspecified people. There had been big fire that caused by these kind of fire weakness such as Seomun Market's in 2005 which costed tens of millions dollar, Dongmun Shopping District’s with 7 casualties. Now counter-measure against these fire is urgently needed. This study drew characteristic of current condition of wholesale markets and the one classified by main agent, fire cases and prevention of fire through statistical data. Also, current condition of fire prevention management and actual state were investigated by conducting a survey of person in charge of fire prevention and current practician. As a result, it was shown that securing professionalism of fire prevention, improvement of structural weakness of buildings, obtaining reliability on performance of fire protection system and internal fire education against practician in the market are needed.

  • The fires in the traditional markets often occur recently with the most of them expanded into great fires so that the damage is very serious. The status of traditional markets handling the distribution for ordinary people is greatly shrunk with the aggressive marketing of the local large companies and the foreign large distribution companies after the overall opening of the local distribution market. Most of the traditional markets have the history and tradition from decades to centuries and have grown steadily with the joys and sorrows of ordinary people and the development of the local economy. The fire developing to the large fire has the characteristics of the problem that the fire possibility is high since all products can be flammable due to the deterioration of facilities, the arbitrary modification of equipment, and the crowding of the goods for sale. Furthermore, most of the stores are petty with their small sizes so that the passage is narrow affecting the passage of pedestrians. Accordingly, the traditional markets are vulnerable to fire due to the initial unplanned structural problem so that the large scale fire damage occurs. The study is concerned with systematically classifying and analyzing the result by applying the TRIZ tool to the fire risk factors to extract the fundamental problem with the fire of the traditional market and make the active response. The study was done for preventing the fire on the basis of it and the expansion to the large fire in case of fire to prepare the specific measure to minimize the fire damage. On the basis of the fire expansion risk factor of the derived traditional market, the study presented the passive measures such as the improvement of the fire resisting capacity, the fire safety island, etc. and the active and institutional measures such as the obligation of the fire breaking news facilities, the application of the extra-high pressure pump system, the divided use of the electric line, etc.

  • 최근 설계, 시공되는 건축물은 초고층 또는 대단지 주거시설로서 화재발생시 초기에 빠른 대응이 요구 되나 근무자의 첨단 소방시설관리에 대한 지식은 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 건축물의 대형화로 인한 네트워크제어방식의 효용성을 알아보고 기시공된 현장의 화재수신기 네트워크 운영 실태 및 현황을 파악 하여 관리에 일조하고자 한다. 이를 위해 10개 대형현장의 네트워크를 조사한 결과 경보시스템에 대한 낮은 신뢰도 때문에 타설비와의 시트템구축을 기피하고 있었다. 또한 방재관련 법규의 제한된 규정으로 인한 통신선 사용에 있어서의 문제점도 개선될 필요가 있었다. 아울러 관리자의 잦은 이직으로 인한 기술적 축적 방안 마련, 복지문제와 면적이 넓은 네트워크시스템에 대한 신호처리방법 및 반응시간등에 대한 규정제정이나 운영상 표준화가 필요하였다.
