  • Literature has showing a phenomenon of the society and the year's issue for a long time. Many critics used index to do not only understand the years' but also just literature. That is, the literature was an essential method to express the society. However, it can be different for each people to have a view point for the literary work. Therefore, people has a self-analysis for the work, and the activity affect that the it can be difficult for people to public their interest for the literary. In this paper, we make new cyber space for social network of the literary and propose a framework that people can discuss their opinion for the literary work. In that time, we make a literary work as digital content.

  • Hadoop platform is a representative storing and managing platform for big data. Hadoop consists of distributed computing system called MapReduce and distributed file system called HDFS. It is important to analyse the effectiveness according to the change of cluster constructions and several parameters. However, since it is hard to construct thousands of clusters and analyse the constructed system, simulation method is required to analyse the system. This paper proposes Hadoop simulator based on DEVS formalism which provides hierarchical and modular modeling. Hadoop simulator provides a retargetable experimental environment that is possible to change of various parameters, algorithms and models. It is also possible to design input models reflecting the characteristics of Hadoop applications. To maximize the user's convenience, the user interface, real-time model viewer, and input scenario editor are also provided. In this paper, we validate Hadoop Simulator through the comparison with the Hadoop execution results and perform various experiments.

  • The IP Multimedia Subsystem(IMS) is a framework that provides access to the content of Internet and Telecom services anytime and anywhere with guaranteed Quality of Service(QoS) and manageability by separating control functions from bearer and services. The Service Delivery Platform(SDP) provides common interfaces and protocols to deploy existing or new services in an efficient way. Therefore SDP over IMS plays a role of bridge between established network and new IMS network by simplifying the interaction among application services. In order to enrich the multimedia network communication, we try to deploy the Push-to-talk over Cellular(PoC) service which is considered as the outstanding and distinguished half-duplex Voice over IP(VoIP) application service among deployable candidate services over mobile network. In this paper we investigate the advantages of PoC service and PoC architecture firstly, and then focus on the its practical implementation for the prototype to validate the feasibility of its deployment and realization.

  • As Internet of Things (IoT) is recently serviced in several fields, the reliability and safety issues for IoT embedded systems are emerged. During the development of embedded systems, it is not easy to build the virtual execution environment and to test the developing version. Therefore, it is difficult to ensure its reliability due to lack of unit testing. In this paper, we propose a log-based unit testing framework for embedded software, which performs on real target board by extracting information of function execution. And, according to execution paths, duplicated logs are eliminated to keep a minimal log size. As a result, during system testing, testers can efficiently decide whether the executed paths of each function are correctly performed or not.

  • Gamification is an important technology for the museum experience in the future, but there is a lack in both its application and academic studies in Korea. Therefore this study targets the technical strategies of museum gamification by studying domestic and international cases. For this purpose, this study analyzes and compares the cases as personalization, and audience interaction of museum experience and sees how the structure of the digital program affects the museum experience in detail by applying MDA framework to the comparisons. For visitors' active interaction with the museums, gamification should be designed in a way to contribute to visual expression of self identity, utilization of the museum space, constructivist learning free from limit on space and time, and interaction with other people.

  • Researches in draft recommendation H.263 have been made in ITU-T LBC group to broaden its range of useful application and to improve its compression performance. The form of added and revised draft text of H.263 is informally known as “H.263+”. In this paper, we analyzed the characteristics of H.263+ negotiable option modes for four image classes. Based on the analysis results, we proposed the adaptive selection scheme of H.263+ option modes by using a scene change detector for a mixed image class. In case of using the proposed scheme, we obtained the 1.6dB improvement in PSNR compared to the basic mode of H.263, and the 0.4~1.0 dB improvement in PSNR compared to the fixed usage scheme of H.263+ negotiable option modes. In respect to used bits per frame, fewer bits are produced than the basic mode H.263 and the foxed usage scheme of H.263+ option modes.

  • The requirement of automatic video summary is increasing as bi-directional broadcasting contents and various user requests and preferences for the bi -directional broadcast environment are increasing. Automatic video summary is needed for an efficient management and usage of many contents in service provider as well. In this paper, we propose a method to generate a content-based summary of linguistic educational videos automatically. First, shot-boundaries and keyframes are generated from linguistic educational video and then multiple(low-level) visual features are extracted. Next, the semantic parts (Explanation part, Dialog part, Text-based part) of the linguistic educational video are generated using extracted visual features. Lastly the XMI- document describing summary information is made based on HieraTchical Summary architecture oi MPEG-7 MDS (Multimedia I)escription Scheme). Experimental results show that our proposed algorithm provides reasonable performance for automatic summary of linguistic educational videos. We verified that the proposed method is useful ior video summary system to provide various services as well as management of educational contents.

  • As the importance of software to society has grown, more and more schools worldwide teach coding basics in the classroom. Despite the rapid spread of coding instruction in grade schools, experience in the classroom is certainly limited because there is a gap between the curriculum and the existing computing environment such as the mobile and cloud computing. We propose an approach to fill this gap by using a mobile environment and the robot on the cloud-based platform for effective teaching. In this paper, we propose an architecture called Cloudboard that enables knowledge sharing and collaboration among knowledge providers in the cloud-based robot platforms. We also describe five representative architectural patterns that are referenced and analyzed to design the Cloudboard architecture. Our early experimental results show that the Cloudboard can be effective in the development of collective robotic systems.

  • The position information of individual vehicles on a road at every time instant can be used to analyze the microscopic behaviors of driving of each vehicle. The limited information obtained from previous imaging technology such as traffic volume and interval velocity cannot be used to explore such microscopic traffic conditions. Also, information gathering for the microscopic behaviors by manual analysis of captured video takes large amount of time and man-power. In the paper we develop the rule-based vehicle tracking technology from which the position information of individual vehicles on a road at every time instant can be automatically obtained. Also, we extract the position data of driving vehicles on a road, length of 130m for every 0.05 second, and calculate the velocity of each traced vehicles to compare with the real velocity for the verification of accuracy. In the future, this type of tracking techniques based on video analysis can be widely used to provide the practically important information of road traffic conditions and to analyze the academically important microscopic behaviors of driving patterns.

  • As the requirement of Semantic Web and knowledge management has been rising, ontology developments have been carried out actively. Ontology is now at the point that systematic developing standardization should be made up like the developing a large scale software. Yet, It has not been made to optimize and standardize ontology development methodologies. In this study, to compare ontology development methodologies, METHONTOLOGY, CommonKADS, OTK in foreign countries and EOE in Korea are selected. The evaluating method is to introduce CMM-I version 1.1 framework. Ontology development methodologies have been evaluated in process areas that introduce for CMM-I maturity level 2 and 3. The purpose of this study is to find matured process and weak process in ontology development methodology on the view of process maturity, and suggests the areas to be Improved in it. The result of this study can be applied as basic data to establish and improve ontology development methodology.
