The purpose of this study is to understand the safety factors of the public transportation and recommend the experimental factors of customer satisfaction. The survey consist of 28 questions of 5 factors about users characteristics on roads, railways, ships, and flights. As a result of multiple regression analysis, we knew that there are three potential factors affecting customer satisfaction. The Factors are named 'expected', 'attitude', 'management', and the variable of factors affect customer satisfaction significantly. Therefore, it is good strategy for effective working to improve customer satisfaction that maintain attitude with safety minds, try to specialized management, and creating expectation for safety considering the difference by the type of public transportation. After considering the meaningful result, for the development of policies for customer satisfaction for safety, we have to consider expected, attitude, and management factors of workers and officials that influence customer safety and try to improve the managerial factors considering the characteristics of their own.
This research investigated the preference factor which has an effect on the forms of bus stop shelter in order to grasp the visual preference factor, which is necessary for planning and designing of bus stop shelter centering around user, starting with the question of the research regarding that a shelter is preferred by what kind of factor when the environmental conditions are regular. This research examined the relation between visual preference and preference factor which has an effect on it with Multiple Regression Analysis after evaluating visual preference for shelter form by user as applying of scoring system of Interval Scale. The result of the factor analysis by visual evaluation for the form of bus stop shelter through the said research result will have an great effect on the design of bus stop shelter centering around its user. Therefore, this research result will give a knowledge which is necessary for the plan and the installation of bus stop shelter, and contributes to shelter design and bus stop promotion which can maximize the satisfaction of user. One of the most important things for hospital managements is understanding the patients' needs. The aim of this study is to analyse the priorities of the factors influencing patients' choice for hospital with analytic hierarchy process (AHP), which can derive the relative importances of factors. With understanding the factors that influencing patients' choice for hospital, the proper methods to improve hospital reputation and health care quality could be determined. Among 12 factors, speciality of hospital, number of departments, staff kindness, doctor-patient communication, and patients' visit time were relatively more important and higher priority. Whereas, public transport accessibilities, hospital equipments, and parking lots were relatively less important and lower priority. These results could be used to improve hospital reputation and health care quality effectively. Therefore, the hospitals in Gwangju should consider the factors that influencing patients' choice and improve policies for hospital marketing strategies for better hospital reputations and health care quality.

This study empirically analyses the spatial features of land use and transportation, and residential characteristics of the cases of the Sangin and Siji newly developed districts in Taegu. Before the development, the areas consisted mainly of rice paddies and fields; these areas are now filled with high-density residential complexes, with a proliferation of commerce and service functions. In Sangin, restaurants, retail services, bars and bakeries are the main developments, but Siji developed retail services, restaurants, private institutions for students, and facilities for convenience goods. While the public transportation system is oriented to CBD, the inter-districts transportation network is lacking. The residents are mainly in their 40s to 50s, with white collar jobs. They have a relatively high level of education with high income. They have migrated a relatively short distance to the district. The locational(pull) factors influencing the decision to migrate, for Sangin are transportation, the physical environment and access to the working place, but for Siji it has been the physical environment, the school group, and access to the working place. The main dissatisfaction factors for Sangin are the management fee, the school group and for Siji they are commuting, the management fee and transportation.
Korea's transportation paradigm is shifting from a vehicle-centered to a pedestrian-oriented society. Therefore, the interest in pedestrian safety and the improvement of pedestrian environment is also increasing. However, the level of traffic safety in Korea is still severe. It is needed to improve pedestrian safety and pedestrian environment. This study studied pedestrian-vehicle accident data provided by the Traffic Accident Analysis System(TAAS) for 2013-2015 to build a safe walking environment around school zones, and the relation between the school zones and pedestrian-vehicle traffic accidents were identified through the geographic information system(GIS) and spatial regression model. The main results are as follows. First, both road and public transportation factors are likely to increase pedestrian traffic accidents in school zones. Second, regarding land-use factors, residential, commercial, and industrial areas are found to increase pedestrian traffic crashes. On the other hand, mixed use is likely to play a role on the reduction of pedestrian traffic accidents. Finally, it has been shown that high development density also has a positive effect on pedestrian traffic accidents in school zones.
This study investigated the impact of vehicle grade operation restrictions in green transportation areas on the concentration of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) year by year. The results indicate that these restrictions positively affected the reduction of PM2.5 levels. The green transportation area policy reduced vehicle emissions and encouraged the use of public and eco-friendly transportation, thereby improving air quality. A notable outcome was the decrease in PM2.5 concentrations, which is expected to positively impact the health of residents in urban areas. The study considered various factors and variables related to the effectiveness of the vehicle grade operation restrictions policy. It was determined that there is a need to discuss the implementation methods of the policy, regional characteristics, and other environmental factors. These findings provide important implications for managing fine particulate matter and urban planning, suggesting that reference materials and ongoing research will be necessary considering future urban sustainability.
Despite the fact that understanding customers satisfaction with transportation services is a subject of great importance, authors, so far, found no systematic researches referred to that issue. From this point, studying the satisfaction with subways services can be extremely useful. Empirical study of key factors in the satisfaction with subway services is the departure point, which holds as objectives, and we believe, will contribute to overall increasing in the number of subways services used and in the amount of public benefits derived from that usage. In order to achieve these goals: First, several items referred to some key factors in the satisfaction of subway usage were systemized. Second, a research of specific weights attached to those key factors by subway passengers was conducted. Knowledge of the satisfaction variables system can provide deep insights into ones perceptual experience when using a subway. The results were as follows: Various interrelated factors compose a passengers satisfaction with subway services. People do not just use subway passively; a number of key factors, like physical and personal services, exact timing, easiness to access etc. determine the passengers satisfaction with subway. In order to find out specific weights of these key factors multiple regression analysis was employed. Results showed that satisfaction with subway is determined by (in order of importance) easiness to access, quality of physical services, friendliness of working stuff and timing exactness. According to the findings, passengers do not use subway as a simple mean of transportation, rather they perceive it as a complex combination of environmental elements and overall satisfaction depends on these various factors. Therefore, to learn passengers satisfaction with subways services, passengers subway experience must be thoroughly studied and analyzed, and this is where papers value resides.

Using GIS, animal clinic's spatial distribution characteristics were analyzed. Animal clinic location data was collected through the Internet's Open API service. Approximately 4,100 animal clinics are operated in South Korea in 2011. And 47 % of these are located in the Seoul area. Population, especially female population and apartment resident's ratio affects the location factor of the animal clinic. The number of 25~44 year-old woman and animal clinics are high correlation. In the animal clinic location, distance from the road is more important than the distance of the metro.

Public library accessibility directly affects library usage, and the disproportionate distribution of accessibility is a decisive factor limiting the equitable provision of library services. In this regard, this study analyzed the spatial accessibility of public libraries in Busan and identified the factors affecting accessibility of public libraries using spatial regression analysis. As a results of the analysis, the accessibility of public libraries in the Busan showed large deviations by region. Also, spatial distribution of public libraries had no correlation with the settled population and use of public transportation, and location of public libraries was inefficient, in terms of social equity. The results of this study will assist to understand the spatial accessibility of public libraries in Busan, to identify factors that affect the accessibility. Moreover, this study is expected to be utilized as fundamental data for releasing disparities of the spatial accessibility and selecting new location of public library in Busan.
Research related to hydrogen technology is being actively conducted around the world. Korea is also making great efforts to develop technology to leap forward as a hydrogen economy powerhouse. In particular, the world's No. 1 hydrogen vehicle penetration rate is proof of this. However, the construction of hydrogen refueling stations is being delayed. The biggest delay factor is the public opposition. As such, policies without public support cannot be successfully implemented and are not sustainable. Therefore, this study intends to analyze the factors affecting the acceptability of hydrogen refueling stations in favor of and against them. As a research method, the basic factors affecting acceptability were identified by reviewing previous studies, and a questionnaire was designed and investigated based on the established factors. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were verified, and the hypothesis was verified through correlation analysis. And, using structural equation modeling, a factor model was developed on the acceptability of hydrogen refueling stations. As a result of the study, acceptability defined private acceptability and public acceptability. In the case of private acceptability, it was confirmed that the higher the attitude toward the environment, the higher the level of knowledge about the hydrogen charging station, and the lower the degree of feeling the risk of the hydrogen charging station, the higher the acceptability. In the case of public acceptability, it was confirmed that the higher the benefit, the better the attitude toward the environment, and the lower the risk-taking characteristics of the individual, the higher the acceptability. Therefore, in this study, based on the potential factors verified in previous studies, the main factors affecting the acceptance on hydrogen refueling stations were identified. And the acceptance model was developed using structural equation modeling. This study is expected to provide basic data to seek ways to improve the acceptance of public when implementing national policies such as hydrogen refueling stations, and to be used analysis data for scientific communication.
