작년에 첫선을 보여 많은 화제를 불러 일으켰던 DVD대여판매기가 새로운 사업 주체인 모렉스테크놀로지에 의해 시장 전개가 모색이 되고 있다. DVD시대의 본격 도래와 함께 무인 대여 판매시스템으로 선보인 이 제품은 첨단제품 성능과 사용 편리성에다가 관리 효율성까지 갖추고 있어 시장에 적지 않은 반향을 불러일으킬 것으로 기대된다. 본격 가맹점 모집을 통해 DVD대여판매기의 적극 보급에 나선 모랙스테크놀리지의 사업행보를 살펴 봤다

To investigate the seasonal variation patterns of tidal flat sediments in semi-enclosed Hampyong and Kwangyang Bays, respectively west and south coasts of Korea, accumulation rate and grain-size in the sediments were monitored during 2${\sim}$4 years. The mud flats in the northern and eastern parts of Hampyong Bay were eroded in summer and deposited in winter, but mixed flats in the southern part of the bay show reversed seasonal variations to the mud flats. These variations are most likely connected with wave actions induced by monsoon and physiographic setting of the tidal flats in the bay. In contrast, the tidal flats of Kwangyang Bay were eroded in summer and deposited in other seasons except summer, different from the case of Hampyong Bay. The physiography of Kwangyang Bay are characterized by dominant flood tides and weak wave actions. However, in summer, the surface sediments were abruptly eroded by occasional typhoons and heavy rainfall. These weather conditions appear to be important factors to accelerate erosion on the tidal flat in semi-enclosed bays, south coast of Korea.

Modern society has a tendency to raise fewer children. As a result, parents became more interested in their children's creative ways of thinking and began to look for new ways of teaching. The child care support center expects a positive effect by lending various toys and books to improve the physical, emotional and social characteristics of children and to help reduce household burden on parents. In this paper, we design and implement a rental return system to effectively utilize a toy library operated by the child care support center. The proposed system makes it easy for any user to search for items in any branch operated by the Child Care Support Center and to manage loan return records. The administrator can manage data such as loans, returns, and past due from the rental return processing system, and effectively operate the child care support center through statistics of data generated. Children are expected to be given a variety of entertainment cultures and cultural benefits to their families to ease the burden of parenting.

We have studied on the accommodation of people for 10~60ages at Honam residents and compared with the already known accommodation from age. Using Push-up method, we obtained results that average accommodation of each cases were 10ages 9.88D, 20ages 8.65D, 30ages 6.92D, 40ages 5.05D, 50ages 4.29D, 60ages 4.63D. Accommodation was on the decreased in increasing the ages but showed the very high accommodation in 50, 60ages on this study. We judged we should consider a accommodation research of other districts and near addition test.

원격탐사 자료를 이용하여 조간대 표층퇴적상의 분류가 가능하다면 현장조사와 상호 보완적으로 사용될 수 있다. 공간해상도 30 m 급의 Landsat 위성 자료를 이용하여 0.0625 mm 입자 기준에 의한 조간대의 표층 퇴적상 분류를 한 연구가 몇 차례보고 된 바 있지만, 스펙트럴 값만으로 퇴적상을 분류하기 위해서는 몇 가지 문제점이 따른다. 첫째는 점이적으로 변하는 조간대에서 입도와 위성자료 공간해상도와의 스케일 차이로 인한 mixed pixel(mixel)을 어떻게 분류할 것인가 이고 두 번째는 입도 요인 이외의 조간대 환경요인을 어떻게 고려해야 되느냐 하는 것이다. mixel에 대한 대안으로 4 m 공간해상도의 IKONOS 영상을 이용하였으며, 입도 이외의 다른 환경 요인은 조간대 지형과 조류로 (tidal channel)를 파악하여 퇴적상의 특성과 비교하였다. IKONOS를 이용한 조간대 퇴적상 분류 결과는 현장 조사 자료와 잘 일치하였으며 지형적으로 높고 조류로가 발달한 부분에 이질 퇴적상이 위치하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 연구는 IKONOS와 같은 공간해상도를 갖는 KOMPSAT II 위성이 2004년 진수되어 서해조간대 지역에 대해 다시기의 많은 영상을 확보할 수 있다면 조간대의 지형변화와 생태계 변화 등의 조간대 모니터링 연구에 활용되어 연안의 종합적이고 효율적인 관리에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

해운대 해변은 한국에서 가장 유명한 해변 중 하나로 국제적으로도 널리 알려져 매년 많은 관광객을 끌어들이는 부산의 대표 관광지 중 하나이다. 그러나 근래 들어 해운대에서 이안류가 자주 발생하며 관광객들이 불안해하고 있다. 해운대 해변에서 해수욕을 즐기던 관광객들이 이안류에 휩쓸려 구조된 사례가 2013년에만 500명을 넘는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 다행히 아직까지 이 지역에서 이안류로 인한 인명사고는 보고되지 않았으나 매년 발생하는 이안류에 대한 공포로 사회적인 경각심이 고조되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라 해운대 이안류의 발생 메커니즘을 규명하고자 하는 연구가 꾸준히 진행되고 있으며, 이안류 사고에 대비한 경보체계 구축 등의 연구도 병행되고 있다. 해운대 이안류의 발생원인을 공학적으로 규명할 수 있다면 향후 해운대 해변의 방재대책 수립을 위한 핵심자료로 사용될 수 있으며, 타 지역에서 발생하는 이안류의 원인분석 및 대책수립을 위한 참고자료로서도 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근 국내외에서 발표된 해운대 이안류 발생원인에 대한 고찰을 기초로 해저지형으로 인한 해운대 이안류 거동의 변화를 수치모델을 활용하여 분석하였다. 널리 알려진 Boussinesq 방정식 모델인 FUNWAVE-TVD를 사용하였으며, 병렬 연산을 활용하여 수치모의 시간을 단축하였다. 해운대 이안류는 해저지형의 변화에 따라 이안류 발달 장소가 달라지긴 하였으나 전체적인 양상은 크게 변하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

(사)한국포장기술사회가 국내에서 선보인 포장제품 중 최고의 제품을 선정하는 '2007년 10대 우수포장' 시상식이 열렸다. 3회째를 맞는 '2007 10대 우수포장'에는 55개사 87개 제품이 출품되어 경합을 벌인 결과, 10개의 10대 우수포장과 9개의 특별상이 선정됐다. 올해 10대 우수포장에 선정된 제품들은 환경친화성을 추구하면서도 경제성을 갖추고 있을 뿐만 아니라 사용자가 쉽게 취급할 수 있는 사용성의 변화, 물류비 절감형 포장 등의 면모를 보여줬다는 평가를 받고 있다. 본 고에서는 2007년 10대 우수포장 수상 제품들의 패키지를 살펴본다.
