A study on logit choice probability model taking into account the problems of common-nodes and common-links (노드중복과 링크중복문제를 고려한 로짓선택확률의 비교연구)

  • One Problem of the choice Property in logit model is interpreted as the Problem of common links and common nodes in choice set. Common node Problem Plays important role in deciding the efficiency of network loading and common link problem is connected with choice Problem, both of which are to be solved to improve the logit choice model. Although much need has been pointed out for research on the topic, however, no Paper as yet considers these two factors at the same time. In the Paper we develop a new logit formulation, which is able to ease the logit Problem, widely known as the Problem of IIA(Independence of Irrelevant Alternatives). An example network is used to assess the Proposed model and compare it with other conventional models. From the results, we find out that the model is superior to others.

Research on the Intention to Adopt a Railway as an International Transportation Mode in Korea: A Focus on Transcontinental Railways (KTAR) (국제 운송수단으로서의 철도 선택에 관한 연구 - 대륙횡단철도 선택 의도를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this research is to identify the factors affecting the intention to adopt a transcontinental railway in Korea. We develop an empirically testable model that demonstrates the effects of factors including cost, service, and efficiency of railway transportation, on modal shift intention to railway, attitude of a Railway, and intention to adopt a Transcontinental Railway (KTAR) as a railway transportation mode in the end. A survey method enables us to analyze the model with a structural equation modeling. The empirical analysis reveals that two most influential factors-the modal shift to railway transportation and the attitude of a Railway-play roles in determining intention to adopt the Transcontinental Railway (KTAR). Of the factors of transportation mode, transportation cost has a greater impact than transportation service and transportation efficiency on the intention to adopt a Transcontinental Railway (KTAR).

  • Through rail transit has many merits as a safe, environmental harmonic and scheduled transit, there are many problems to construct railroads because of the public resentment. However, there is no reasonable way to settle the conflict properly and it causes enormous social and economic losses. This paper suggests a methodology to evaluate public complaint using the AHP technique, which is generally used as the methodology to evaluate public complaint using the AHP technique, which is generally used as the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). However, the result from the AHP has some defects to control conflicts because the interests related to railroad projects are so complex that it is hard to make people persuaded easily. Therefore, this paper suggests 'the improvement ranking method', 'the sensitive analysis', and 'the assessment of independence relationship' which can aid the basic AHP to be robust. And the AHP. modified by fuzzy method, is also suggested to apply this methodology to example rail paths in Korea.

선호구조의 질적 순서화

  • 선호구조의 논리를 결정모델에 적용시킬 때 선호구조는 일반적으로 특정 수치적 순서화 조건을 만족하게끔 표현된다. 그래야 주어진 선택지들을 둘러싼 개인 혹은 집단의 선호구조에 관한 정보가 형식적으로 표출될 수 있다고 여겨져 왔다. 그러나 선호구조의 수치적 순서화에 의해서만 선호관계의 정보가 형식적으로 표출될 수 있다는 성각은 일종의 독단이다. 더욱이 다양한 선택지의 결합에 의한 선호구조의 정보 이동은 기존의 수치적 순서화 속에서 제대로 다루어질 수 없다. 하나의 대안으로서 선형대수의 그래프이론에 바탕을 둔 선호구조의 질적 순서화 방식을 제안한다. 개인 혹은 집단의 선호구조에 관한 정보는 제안될 질적 순서화에 의해 보다 포괄적으로 다루어질 수 있다.

Effectiveness of the Internet Real-Name Verification Law: Evidence from Self-censorship and Intention to Detour the Regulation (인터넷실명제와 우회로의 선택: 인터넷 공론장 참여자들의 자기검열과 우회로 선택의향을 중심으로)

  • This paper investigates the effectiveness of Real-Name System on Internet, which has been applied to some Internet service provider bulletin boards in Korea. The goal of the Real-Name system on the Internet is controlling expression of slanderous or abusive language. The effectiveness of the regulation is dependent on the people's perceptions and attitude toward to the legislation. This empirical study examines the antecedents that affect the perceptions and attitude toward the regulation. Further, we investigate the relationships among variables such as internet public sphere participation, attitude to the regulations, and intention to choose detours. Results of regression analysis show that the younger and the more progressive individuals are, the more they oppose the implementation of the law. Also, it was found that people who have more political interest and participate more actively in public sphere via internet, tend to oppose the law. Structural equation models reveal that participation in online public sphere drives negative attitudes about the regulation. In addition, people with negative perceptions about the law tend to choose the detours such as 'cyber asylum' and 'service asylum'.

The Effect of Product Typicality on Consumers' Brand Evaluation (제품전형성이 소비자의 상표평가에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the context dependencies of perceived product typicality and favorableness led by typicality. Major findings and their marketing implications are as follow. First of all, while the typicality effect were evident in simle choice sets which consist of typical product and atypical one, entrance of extreme atypical product eroded the favorableness toward typical product. This implies that competitive advantage of pioneering typical brand can not be sustained when choice set is enlarged with entrance of distinctive atypical brands. Secondly, adding attractive and unattractive common attributes to all the products in choice set reduced the difference among perceived typicality of alternative brands. But added attractive common feature was analyzed to enhance favorableness of both typical brand and extreme atypical product. This finding implies that brands should have distinctive identity to be benefited from competitive adding features among brands with the evolution of market. Finally, when consumers expect to provide the explanation and justification for their evaluations and choices to others, they are shown to prefer and choose typical product which is effective to explain their reasons and to persuade others for their choice. This can be interpreted as consumers favor and choose conventional typical alternatives when they should justify their decision to others as with symbolic and expressive products and public and organizational buying.

Application of Random Regret Minimization Model in the Context of Intercity Travel Mode Choice (지역간 수단선택에 있어서 확률적 후회 최소화 모형의 적용 연구)

  • The multinomial logit model, based on random utility maximization (RUM) theory, has been the predominant model used in travel mode choice contexts. In this paper, the travel mode choice model based on random regret minimization (RRM) theory is proposed as an alternative to the RUM model, and the applicability of the RRM model is examined. The presented model is applied to the case of inter-city travel mode choice in Korea. The empirical results show that the RUM model and RRM model have parameters that are consistent with the intuition. The goodness of fit statistics in the RRM model improved compared with the results of the RUM model. Consequently, these results show the possibility of using the RRM model in the context of travel mode choice.

  • 전자 카탈로그 상에서의 상품 검색은 카탈로그에 명시되어 있는 상품을 찾는 표준상품검색과 소비자가 원하는 상품을 맞춤 하는 맞춤상품검색으로 분류할 수 있다. 현재의 대부분의 상품 검색은 표준상품검색에 의존하고 있다. 특히 기업간 구성요소기반(Component-based) 상품의 경우 표준상품검색만으로는 구매자의 다양한 요구에 응하기가 어렵다. 따라서 웹 상의 전자 카탈로그에서의 동적인 맞춤검색에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 구성기반 상품에 대해서 표준상품검색만으로는 구매자가 원하는 상품의 검색가능성(Feasibility)과 검색된 대안들이 조정(Adjust) 프로세스 과정을 거쳐 최적해 도달 가능성(Admissibility)이 보장되지 않음을 보이고, 이에 대한 효과적인 방법론으로 검색가능성과 최적해 도달 가능성을 지원하는Template-based Reasoning 방법론을 제안 한다. Template-based Reasoning은 구매자의 요구사항에 따른 대안탐색 부분과 선택된 대안에 대한 조정과정의 두 단계로 이루어진다. 구매자의 주요 선호도(MUST Preference)에 근거하여 대안들을 탐색하고, 탐색 된 대안들 간의 우선순위를 결정한다. 조정 단계에서는 옵션(Options)의 확장을 통해 구매자의 맞춤사양에 따른 상품을 제안하고, 제약 및 규칙기반 추론(Constraint and Rule Satisfaction Approach)을 이용하여 옵션(Options)들 간의 제약조건에 따른 호환성(Compatibility)을 조사하고, 적정가격의 상품을 제안한다. 본 방법론은 Template을 사용하여 기본적으로 구매자가 원하는 상품을 검색하기 위한 검색노력을 줄이고, 검색된 대안들로부터 구매자와 시스템이 웹상에서 서로 상호작용(interactivity) 하여 해를 찾고, 제약조건과 규칙들에 의해 적합한 해를 찾아가는 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문은 구성기반 예로서 컴퓨터 부품조립을 사용해서 Template-based reasoning 예를 보인다 본 방법론은 검색노력을 줄이고, 검색에 있어 Feasibility와 Admissibility를 보장한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 안양천 유역에 대해 왜곡된 물순환을 건전화시키기 위한 유역통합관리 계획을 수립하였다. 대안의 효과분석은 HSPF 모형을 사용하였으며 평가지수는 건천화 방지와 수질개선 효과 요소로 구성되며 각각은 유역통합관리 6단계 결과를 모두 사용할 수 있도록 복합계획법과 지속가능성 개념(압력-상태-반응)을 활용하여 개발되었다. 특히 수량과 수질에 대한 가중치는 유역주민의 의견을 반영하기 위해 실험선택법으로 정량화하여 유역의 속성별로 달리 적용하였다. 대안은 평가지수에 따라 세 등급(Good, Acceptable, Poor)으로 나누어 제시하였다.
