Logistics Strategy of Promotion for the B2B EC (기업간 전자상거래 활성화를 위한 물류혁신전략)

  • 최근 B2B 전자상거래 확산에 따른 물류문제를 해결하고 오프라인 물류와의 차별화롤 시도하기 위한 목적으로 다양한 물류측면의 대안이 제시되고 있다. 먼저 물류산업 자체의 e-business화를 추진함으로 기존 물류체계에서의 고비용 문제, 책임 소재가 불분명한 서비스 문제를 해결하고 운송정보의 실시간 제공을 통한 발주자, 화주자 간의 긴밀한 커뮤니케이션 형성과 해외시장을 겨냥한 글로벌 물류체계를 구축해야 한다. 다음으로 물류업종의 지나친 세분화, 기존 물류업체의 영세성과 혁신마인드의 부족, 그에 따른 제조 유통업체의 경쟁적 자가물류 확충의 악순환으로 제3자 물류시장 성장기반이 제한되어 오는 등 구조적인 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 주요 운송업체가 영세한 화주나 창고관리 위탁업무까지 대행하여 주는 지금까지의 제3자 물류 체제에서 대기업이 물류시장에 새롭게 진출하면서 사이버 물류시스템을 기반으로 기존 주요 운송업계와 VAN 사업자가 장악하고 있는 물류정보 서비스를 주도하는 제4자 물류체제로의 전환이 요구된다. 왜냐하면, SCM과 전자상거래 환경 하에서는 공급 망 내의 물류를 최적화하여 기업의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해서 기능적 아웃소싱의 단계를 거쳐 물류기능의 통합과 운영의 자율권이 증대, 전체적인 공급연쇄 솔루션을 제공하는 서비스 제공자와 함께 기업의 경영자원, 능력, 기술을 관리하고 결합하는 공급연쇄 통합자로서 제4자 물류가 필요하기 때문이다. 이와 같은 제4자 물류체제가 본격 형성될 경우 물류정보와 인프라가 복잡하게 업혀있는 기존 물류산업이 재편되고, 특화된 물류솔루션을 바탕으로 한 산업별 물류체제 구축이 가속화될 것으로 예견되며, 일반기업 입장에서 물류부문의 아웃소싱이 촉진되어 물류산업기반이 확충될 수 있을 것이다.

Pedestrians Action Interpretation based on CUDA for Traffic Signal Control (교통신호제어를 위한 CUDA기반 보행자 행동판단)

  • In this paper, We propose a method of motion interpretation of pedestrian for active traffic signal control. We detect pedestrian object in a movie of crosswalk area by using the code book method and acquire contour information. To do this stage fast, we use parallel processing based on CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture). And we remove shadow which causes shape distortion of objects. Shadow removed object is judged by using the hilbert scan distance whether to human or noise. If the objects are judged as a human, we analyze pedestrian objects' motion, face area feature, waiting time to decide that they have intetion to across a crosswalk for pdestrians. Traffic signal can be controlled after judgement.

  • Investigation into the sources of firms' ideas for new product development is very important because the capabilities of developing new products determine the competitiveness of a firm. This study aims at drawing the managerial implications for new product development in terms of the autonomy and the size of firms. To do this, this study analyzes how the capabilities of developing new products and the sources of ideas are different by the types of firms. More concretely, it compares differences in the capabilities of developing new products between types of firms, and in the sources of ideas for new product development between internal sources and external sources.

  • By using simulation, fixed location production method and flow production method have been compared to improve the productivity of deckhouse preceding outfitting process. In this paper, we analyze that the suggested flow production system instead of fixed location production can improve productivity. In current preceding outfit production system which adopts fixed location production, where a block occupies an area and does not move until the work finishes. On the other hand, in improved flow production system, the block moves instead of workers and equipment. Though the output of two systems are almost the same when we did not consider the moving time and waiting time of blocks, the flow production will be better when the variability of task time will be reduced.

  • This paper understands small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) with the lenses of 'labors' and 'technology' and analyzes possible alternatives for creating jobs in Korea. Interviews with eighty CEOs, directors, managers are conducted during the summer in 2017. In terms of 'labors,' critical issues were 'low income' and 'income gap from conglomerates.' When it comes to 'technology,' support for R&D was critically presented. This study proposes three policies for creating jobs: 1) National Management for Good Technicians, 2) Technical Bidding System, and 3) Mutual benefit disclosure System. Implications for the employment policy are followed.

Characteristics of the Simulated ENSO in CGCM (대기-해양 접합 모델에서 모사한 ENSO의 특징)

  • This paper explored the characteristics of the interannual sea surface temperature (SST) variability in the equatorial Pacific by analyzing the simulated data from a newly coupled general circulation model (CGCM). The CGCM simulates well the realistic ENSO variability as well as the mean climatologies including SST, seasonal cycle, precipitation, and subsurface structures. It is argued that the zonal gradient of SST in the equatorial Pacific is responsible for the over-energetic SST variability near the equatorial western boundary in the model. This variability could also be related to the strong westward propagation of SST anomalies which resulted from the enhanced the zonal advection feedback. The simple two-strip model supports this by sensitivity tests. Analysis of the relationship between zonal mean thermocline depth and NINO3 SST index suggested that the ENSO variability is controlled by the recharge-discharge oscillator of the model. The lead-lag regression result reveals that heat buildup process in the western equatorial Pacific associated with the increase of the barrier layer thickness (BLT) is a precedent condition for El $Ni\widetilde{n}o$ to develop.

  • Located in the middle of lanes, the station of a median exclusive bus lane generates pedestrian groups on the green light of a crosswalk and causes pedestrians delays passing the access section. For the purpose of showing these facts, the pedestrian analysis, on which the queuing theory is applied, is presented in this study. The Result is that the pedestrian environment was deteriorated (LOS D) compared to an exciting pedestrian analysis based on 15 minutes of pedestrian volume (LOS A). A pedestrian level of service has been reevaluated based on an arrival rate on the median bus station in order to examine whether the result reflects reality or not. In result, it was similar outcomes to this study.

A Simulation Study for Detailed Design of A-Mart Logistics Center for Low Temperature Products (A-마트 저온제품 종합물류센터 실시설계를 위한 시뮬레이션)

  • This paper deals with the simulation model for design and operations of A-Mart logistic center for low temperature products. In developed simulation model, receiving docks, digital classification system (DCS), shipping docks, material handling devices and manual sorting stations are considered. Five types of cargo such as fruits, palletized fruits, delicatessen and fisheries, vegetables and refrigerated cargoes are considered. The simulation model and process animation are developed using the simulation package ARENA. Among various design and operation alternatives consisting of the number of workers of receiving dock, allocation of receiving docks by cargo types, DCS capacity, the number of folk-lift, the number of manual sorting operators and overall layout, the best alternatives of each subsystem are selected by simulation analysis. The major performance measures such as DCS throughput, utilization of operators at each station, receiving docks utilization and folk-lift utilization are considered for the alternative evaluation.

Study on the Installation warrants of staggered crosswalk traffic island on Urban Streets - Focusing on pedestrian safety and service level - (도시부가로 이단 횡단보도 교통섬 설치 준거에 관한 연구 - 보행자 안전과 서비스수준을 중심으로 -)

  • On the Staggered Crosswalks, pedestrians cross the crosswalks two times. This method can reduce the cycle, the vehicle delay and the walking distance by increasing the major direction of green time. The safety of pedestrians is also effective. This study suggests the warrant of the facilities of island width and length etc. by considering the road structure and pedestrians. Also this study suggests the standard of the safety through the accident analysis of Staggered crosswalks and General Crosswalks. In the results, accident rate of the Staggered Crosswalks 18.3(100 million vehicle-km) was lower than the accident rate of the General Crosswalks 28.3(100million vehicle-km). By understanding the start point of crossing of the Staggered Crosswalks, the analysis of the location and types of accident suggests the safety zone(spare space). The setting warrants of Staggered Crosswalks are 4 lane over the road and the 2 meter over sidewalk width of island. The minimum length of the Pedestrian island was doubled compared to the crosswalks width. And the maximum length was set by considering the wait time of the pedestrians.

  • Behind the growth of the chemical industry which is a cornerstone of the Korean economy, dozens of hazardous and noxious chemical accidents occur every year, resulting in enormous casualties and environmental damages. Many cases among chemical accidents are caused by the carelessness of workers in handling facilities such as hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid, and the aging of handling facilities. In order to mitigate the damage by such chemical accidents, a safety system for preventing atmospheric diffusion of hazardous and xoxious chemicals in dike was proposed. The atmospheric diffusion prevention safety system consists of leak detection phase, alarm and measurement phase, suppression and blocking phase. Through the proposed the atmospheric diffusion prevention safety system, the need for 2nd chemical accident prevention such as atmospheric diffusion in dike can be posed.
