The high encoding complexity of LDPC codes can be solved by designing structured parity-check matrix. If the parity-check matrix of LDPC codes is composed of same type of blocks, decoder implementation can be simple, this structure allow structured decoding and required memory for storing the parity-check matrix can be reduced largely. In this parer, we propose a construction algorithm for short block length structured LDPC codes based on girth condition, PEG algorithm and variable node connectivity. The code designed by this algorithm shows similar performance to other codes without structured constraint in low SNR and better performance in high SNR than those by simulation

In this paper we review the typical Toeplitz matrices and block circulant matrices, and propose the a circulant Hadamard matrix which is consisted of +1 and -1, but its structure is different from typical Hadamard matrix. The proposed circulant Hadamard matrix decreases computational complexities to $Nlog_2N$ additions through high speed algorithm compare to original one. This matrix is able to be applied to Massive MIMO channel estimation, FIR filter design, amd signal processing.
This paper discusses nested design models when nesting occurs in treatment structure and design structure. Some are fixed and others are random; subsequently, the fixed factors having a nested design structure are assumed to be nested in the random factors. The treatment structure can involve random and fixed effects as well as a design structure that can involve several sizes of experimental units. This shows how to use projections for sums of squares by fitting the model in a stepwise procedure. Expectations of sums of squares are obtained via synthesis. Variance components of the nested design model are estimated by the method of moments.

Two-dimensional hybrid codewords are generated by using each row of identity matrix for spatial encoding and nonideal symmetric balance incomplete block design(BIBD) code for spectral encoding. This spatial/spectral optical code-division multiple-access (OCDMA) network uses single-balanced detectors to abstract the desired information bits and to eliminate the multiple-access interference(MAI). Analytical results show that the number of simultaneous users increases significantly by using the proposed hybrid codes.
This study is to analyze the induced effect, network connectivity, and network visualization of the water transportation industry on the overall economy in relation to all industries. For this, various inducement coefficients of the water transportation industry are analyzed using industry linkage analysis and unit structure matrix, and network visualization analysis is performed using network connectivity and NetDraw using Ucinet 6 that utilizes unit structure matrix and inverse matrix function. As a result of the study, analysis results of input coefficient, production inducement coefficient, value-added inducement coefficient, and inter-industry chain effect were presented as various inducement coefficients in the water transportation industry. content was presented. Through this study, the current position and status of the water transportation industry and its relationship with all industries were confirmed, and the strategic relationship with which industries it should be presented was presented. In the future, it is necessary to further analyze the current status and trends of various induced effects, connectivity (centrality), and network visualization analysis using industry-related analysis published since the 2000s.
In this study, the stiffness of spatially reinforced composites (SRC) are predicted by using superposition of a rod and matrix stiffnesses in an arbitrary direction. To confirm the predicted values, the material properties of SRC are measured. The predicted values from the volume average of stiffness matrix are consistent with the tested values in a rod direction, but are inconsistent in an off-rod direction while reverse is true fur the volume average of compliance matrix. Therefore, the harmony function from superposition of stiffness and compliance matrix is introduced. The predicted values from the harmony function are consistent with the tested values in both the rod and the off-rod directions.

This paper presents an efficient hardware architecture to enable the high-speed Givens rotation-based QR decomposition. The proposed architecture achieves a highly parallel givens rotation process by maximizing the number of pivots selected for parallel zero-insertions. Sign-select lookahed (SSL)-CORDIC is also efficiently used for the high-speed givens rotation. The performance of QR decomposition hardware considerably increases compared to the conventional triangular systolic array (TSA) architecture. Moreover, the circuit area of QR decomposition hardware was reduced by decreasing the number of flip-flops for holding the pre-computed results during the decomposition process. The proposed QR decomposition hardware was implemented using TSMC $0.25{\mu}m$ technology. The experimental results show that the proposed architecture achieves up to 70 % speed-up over the TACR/TSA-based architecture for the $8{\times}8$ matrix decomposition.
A rational and straightforward method is introduced for developing continuum models of large platelike periodic lattice structures based on energy equivalence, The procedure for developing continuum models involves using existing finite element matrices in calculating strain and kinetic energies of a repeating cell. The equivalent continuum plate properties are obtained from the direct comparison of the reduced stiffness and mass matrices for continuum and lattice plates. Numerical results prove that the method developed in this paper shows very good agreement with other well-recognized methods.
This paper studied the mechanical characteristics of boom structures by verifying the modeling method of representing unit cells of triaxial woven fabric (TWF) composites. The modeling of the representative unit cell obtained the ABD matrix by analysing the behaviour of tensile, shear, bending, and torsion using the periodic boundary conditions for the beam element. This study aimed to validate the ABD matrix by comparing the tensile analysis output from a finite element program with the experimental results from an MTS 810 machine. Additionally, the mechanical characteristics of a TWF composite boom structure were determined through bending analysis and experiments. The findings of this research are expected to be beneficial for developing structures using TWF composites.
Traditional workflow time analyses have been performed treating an activity as an independent M/M/1queueing system. Using the general forms of performance measures in the M/M/1 system, various aspects of analyses can be performed. Especially, on the time analysis of an AND structure in a workflow system, the mean system sojourn time can be formalized by applying the performance measures of M/M/1 system. In the real workflow system, the AND structure cannot be described correctly under the assumption of independent M/M/1 systems. To overcome this limitation, this research makes the assumption that the all activities for a task starts simultaneously. In this situation, the theoretical solution can be derived using the performance measures of the M/G/1 system. In addition, the simulation modeling method will be proposed to analyze the AND structure of a real workflow system. Finally, some numerical results from the theoretical solutions and simulation models will be provided for verification. The main performance measures used in this research are mean queueing time and mean sojourn time.
