Formation of amorphous and crystalline phase, phase sequence by solid state reaction in Zr/Si multilayer thin films (Zr/Si 다층박막에서의 고상반응에 의한 비정질상과 결정상의 생성 및 상전이)

  • DSC와 XRD를 사용하여 Zr/Si 다층박막의 고상반응에 의한 비정질상과 결정상 생성 및 상전이를 확인하고 이를 유효구동력 개념과 유효생성열 개념 및 phase determining factor(PDF)모델을 이용하여 예측한 결과와 비교하였다. Zr/Si 다층박막은 비정질호 반응이 잘 일어났으며 이는 유효구동력 개념으로 예측한 바와 일치하였다. Zr/Si 계에서 생성되는 최초의 결정상은 ZrSi 였으며 유효생성열과 PDF모델로부터 예측된 최초의 결정상은 PDF 모델의 예측 결과와 일치하였다. Zr/Si 다층박막의 원자조성비가 1대 1일경우와 1대 2일 경우의상전이는 ZrSi$\longrightarrow$$ZrSi_{2}$로 되었으며 이러한 상전이 과정은 유효생성열 다이아그램으로 해석되었다. ZrSi의 생성기구는 핵생성이 율속임을 규명하였고 ZrSi와 $ZrSi_{2}$의 생성에 필요한 활성화에너지는 1.64$\pm$0.19eV와 2.28$\pm$0.36eV이었다.

An Analysis of Groundwater Flow in the Multi-aquifer System (다층-대수층 시스템의 지하수 해석)

  • The multi-aquifer system separated by semipervious leaky beds was analyzed. The finite difference scheme of the Crank-Nicolson method is applied to obtain the solution for this system. The solution of this scheme was compared with the analytical solution for two-layer aquifer systems with one-dimensional steady state. The results showed a good agreement between analytical and numerical solution for two-layer aquifer systems. So, the numerical scheme can be extended to multi-aquifer system. When the pumping is tried for single or multi aquifer, the computation of the groundwater heads was possible for each aquifer in the multi-aquifer with two-dimensional system. So, it might be helpful for the effective groundwater management.

  • A multi layered elastic analysis program, IDYSPAP, was developed. The objective of this study was to develop the IDYSPAP program on Graphic User Interface environment for field engineers using Visual Basic, which was considered span of multi-wheels and maximum 4 axles using superposition of linear elastic theorem. It is suggested that this study considers algorithm with dynamic properties of asphalt layer on various temperature and non-linear properties of subbase and subgrade on stress non-linearity for asphalt pavement structure. This Program was modified to divide asphalt layer automatically according to layer division concept. The developed program was verified with initial measuring data in test road sections of KEC (Korea Expressway Co.) using laboratory test results.

  • 3Y-TZP, 12Ce-TZP 및 3Y-TZP, 12Ce-TZP 현탁액의 제타포텐셜과 겉보기점도의 측정으로부터 슬립주입공정에 의한 다층복합체의 제조조건을 조사하였다. 아울러 다층복합체의 소결밀도, 미세구조, 결정상에 미치는 열처리의 영향을 검토하였다. 3Y-TZP와 12Ce-TZP 현탁액의 등전점을 pH 8부근이었으나 3Y-TZP/12Ce-TZP의 등전점은 pH8.6이었다. 현탁액은 전단속도의 증가와 더불어 점도가 감소하는 의가소성유동을 나타내었다. 15 및 20vol% 고체함량을 갖는 3Y-TZP와 3Y-TZP/12Ce-TZP 현탁액은 소량(0.3wt%)의 유기해교제의 첨가만으로 슬립주입에 적당한 유동성을 보유하였으나, 12Ce-TZP의 경우는 점도를 감소시키기 위하여 부가적인 전해질이 필요하였다. 이론밀도의 98% 이상을 보유하고 0.3~$2.2\mu\textrm{m}$의 입경을 갖는 치밀한 다층복합체가$ 1500^{\circ}C$ 소결로 얻어졌다.

Comparison of Modified Berggren Method with Numerical Method for the Frost Penetration Depth (수정 Berggren 법과 수치해석법에 의한 동결깊이 산정 비교)

  • This paper presents computed frost penetration depths for a number of cross sections of multilayered system including insulation. Results of Modified Berggren method were compared with those of numerical analysis which is based on finite element method with phase change. For the homogeneous single layer medium, Modified Berggren method gives almost the same results as finite element based numerical method. For the multilayered systems with insulation, Modified Berggren method shows, however, inaccurate results compared with FEM results. Therefore numerical solution based on finite element or finite difference should be used in place of Modified Beggren method to estimate the frost penetration depth for the layered medium with insulation.

  • The reduction of the airborne noise level is essential to the comfortability for mien and passengers in ships. In this paper, the acoustic characteristics on the multilayered acoustic panel with the Helmholtz resonator was described analytically and experimentally. The design software based on the Transfer Matrix Analysis(TMA) method for the acoustic enclosing panel was developed. According to the change of the design parameters of the panel, verious transmission losses were obtained using the developed software. As a result, it was verified that the acoustic characteristics of the composite panel was excellent in comparison with the conventional acoustic partitioning structures. This panel can be applicable to the acoustic enclosure system.

  • Recently, layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly has emerged as a promising fabrication technique in controlling surface wetting properties. LbL assembly technique is eco-friendly versatile technique to control the hierarchical structure and surface properties in nano- and micro-scale by employing a variety of materials (e.g., polymers, surfactants, nanoparticles, etc.). This article reviews recent progress in controlling the surface wetting using LbL technique. In particular, technical trends and research findings on fabrication and the applications of superhydrophobic, superhydrophilc, and superoleophobic/superhydrophilic LbL surfaces are extensively explained. Additionally, basic principles and fabrication methods in emerging areas such as omniphobic, self-healing, intelligent and responsive LbL surfaces are discussed.

Resistance Modulation of $\textrm{LaCoO}_{3}$ by Ferroelectric Field Effect in $\textrm{LaCoO}_{3}/\textrm{Pb(Zr,Ti)O}_{3}/\textrm{(La,Sr)CoO}_{3}$ Heterostructures ($\textrm{LaCoO}_{3}/\textrm{Pb(Zr,Ti)O}_{3}/\textrm{(La,Sr)CoO}_{3}$다층구조에서의 강유전체 전계효과에 의한 LaCoO$_{3}$의 전항변조)

  • 강유전체 전계효과를 관찰하기 위해 LaCoO$_{3}$/Pb(Zr, Ti)O$_{3}$(La, Sr)CoO$_{3}$ 다층구조를 LcOo$_{3}$가 기판 위에 pulsed laser deposition(PLD)법으로 에피택셜하게 성장시켰다. 이러한 다층구조에서는 전도성 채널층으로 Si대신 반도성 LaCoO$_{3}$가 사용 되었다. LaCoO$_{3}$(LCO)의 비저항은 산소 분위기에 의하여 변화되었는데 특히 증착시 산소 분위기에 의존함을 보였다. LCO의 비저항은 0.1-100Ωcm범위에서 변화되었다. LCO층에 유도되는 강유전체 전계효과는 Pb(Zr, Ti)O$_{3}$(PZT)의 분극 상태에 따른 LCO의 저항 변화를 측정함으로써 관찰되었는데 1020$\AA$ 두께를 가진 LCO층에서는 4%의 저항 변화를 얻었으며 680$\AA$의 LCO에서는 9%의 증가된 저항 변화를 얻었다. DC 바이어스(-5V)를 가한 후에는 저항 변화가 45%까지 증가하였다. 이러한 결과는 적당한 비저항을 갖는 LCO를 사용한 LCO/PZT/LSCO다층구조가 강유전체 전계효과 트랜지스터로 사용될 수 있다는 가능성을 제시하고 있다.

  • The microstructure and thermal properties of the Mn-IriNi-Fe exchange biased multi-layers with various buffer layers and stacking structures have been investigated. The H$_{e{\chi}}$ and the T$_{b}$ depend on the Mn-Ir grain size at the interface between the Mn-Ir layer and the Ni-Fe layer, The (111) preferred orientation of Mn-Ir/Ni-Fe on the Ta buffer layer may promote the values of J$_{k}$ and H$_{e{\chi}}$. The samples which produce the Hex have the epitaxial relationship at the interface between the Mn-Ir layer and the Ni-Fe layer due to the generation of misfit dislocation.

  • Dynamic neural networks have been applied to diverse fields requiring temporal signal processing. This paper presents gamma neural network(GAM) to improve the dynamics of multilayer network. The GAM network uses the gamma memory kernel in the hidden layer of feedforword multilayer network. The GAM network is evaluated in linear and nonlinear system identification, and compared with feedforword(FNN) and recurrent neural networks(RNN) for the relative comparison of its performance. Experimental results show that the GAM network performs better with respect to the convergence and accuracy, indicating that it can be a more effective network than conventional multilayer networks in system identification.
