  • AC 전동기용 다이나모 시스템은 동력흡수방식을 중심으로 제작되어 많이 사용되고 있으나, 속응성 및 내구성등이 열악하여 유지 보수등에 다소 어려움을 겪고 있어 소형 전동기를 중심으로 유도전동기를 이용한 다이나모 시스템에 관한 연구가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 현재 소형 AC 전동기를 이용한 다이나모 시스템에 관한 연구가 진행되어 있으나 수십 kW급 전동기의 운전에만 제한되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 200kW급 AC 다이나모미터의 설계 및 제어에 대하여 서술한다. 기존 데이터 취득방식의 단점을 보완한 초고속 통신모듈을 내장한 데이터 송수신 시스템을 이용하여 AC 다이나모미터의 특성을 개선하였다. 실험을 통하여 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템의 설계 및 제어를 검증한다.

Squeal Test Using Lab-Scale Brake Dynamometer for Pad Angle and Negative-slope (랩스케일 브레이크 다이나모 메터를 이용한 패드각도 및 음의 기울기에 따른 스퀼 소음 실험 연구)

  • In this study, squeal noise test was conducted by using the lab-scaled brake dynamometer. Squeal conditions with respect to the angle of the brake pads ($34^{\circ}30^{\circ}26^{\circ}$) and negative slope, were studied. Squeal frequency of the In-plane-like mode was confirmed by hammering test and finite element analysis. This Squeal mode was difficult to control by the pad angle variation. Also the squeal sound was found to be periodic signal which has higher harmonic components. Squeal noise is independent of the negative slope. It implies that squeal noise can reach the stick-slip oscillation.

  • 본 논문은 불꽃 점화 방식 엔진에서 차량의 주행상태에 따른 점화코일의 전류량을 측정하여 추가적인 전류를 공급하는 충전 전류제어 장치를 고안하였다. 점화 코일의 전류를 안정적으로 공급하고 과전류를 방지함으로써 차량 엔진의 출력 향상 및 효율적인 연소가 가능하도록 하였으며, 다이나모 장비를 이용하여 출력과 토크에 대한 성능평가를 하였다. 실험결과는 제안하는 장치의 유효성을 보여주었다.

  • This article deals with the manufacture and test results of asbestos-free friction material for Aluminium at toy disk. In order to obtain optimum formulation, various formulations of fibres, matrix, modifiers, fillers, etc were designed and evaluated. The constant friction and brake dynamometer tests were performed to know weak and strong point for each friction material. The C21 formulation of various tested formulations exhibited superior friction constant(0.38∼38), fade rate (18%) by JASO C406 test mode and maximum wear 1.6 mm. disc wear 0.08 mm by JASO C427 test mode. The surface morphology of AL alloy disk(before and after test) was observed by Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM) and Image Analyzer.

  • 본 논문에서는 복합형 하이브리드 굴삭기의 전력 변환 장치의 구조 및 제어 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 전력 변환 장치는 엔진 다이나모 장치를 이용하여 그 타당성을 입증하였으며, 제한된 실험 환경 내에서도 기존의 유압식 굴삭기와 비교하였을 때, 약 8% 정도의 연비 향상의 효쏙를 얻을 수 있었다. 현재 실제 굴삭기에 장착하여 성능과 연비 측정을 위한 실험이 진행 중이다.

  • Detailed mathematical models of hybrid drivertrain components are presented and numerical simulations are carried out to analyze the shift characteristics and to improve the driving comfortability when the hybrid drivetrain is applied at the vehicle . Theoretical results are compared with experimental ones from the dynamometer as same condition in order to prove the appropriateness of modeling . Adding the vehicle body modeling, included in the suspension and the engine mount, it is possible to predict the dynamic behavior and shift characteristics more actually when shifts are occurred by automated manual transmission(AMT). these additional results are also compared with the same simulation ones of internal combustion engined vehicle equipped conventional manual transmission. Hence, it can be expected that the hybrid vehicle with AMT has a good shift quality.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the braking performances associated with the friction coefficients and temperature fluctuations. Friction coefficient stability and maximum temperature of brake drums, made of an Al-MMC and conventional cast iron, were tested by the inertial brake dynamometer during 15 braking operations. Also the temperature distribution was analyzed by the finite element analysis(FEA). In this experiment, both lower temperature rise near the drum surface and less variation of friction coefficient, compared to those of cast iron, were observed with Al-MMC drums during braking operations.

  • This paper is about the copper slider with high electric conductivity and resistance arc. A new copper slider which has enhanced resistance against frictional wear was developed. By alteration of its material components and manufacturing process, its material property has been enhanced. To verify its enhanced wear-resisting capacity, a laboratory test and a field test were carried out. As the laboratory test, a dynamo test was performed and its test result showed that the developed new copper slider had superior wear-resisting capacity to the currently used copper slider. The new one showed double durability of the current one and normal wearing characteristics. A filed test was performed on the Metro subway lines at service by Seoul Metro. The field test showed similar results to those from the laboratory test, which the d eveloped new copper slider has double superior durability and sound wearing patterns. Authors strongly believe that the replacement of the copper slider currently in use by the developed new one will contribute to the economic and efficient operation of the subway line system

  • In this study, the advanced shift control algorithm for parallel type hybrid drivetrain system with automated manual transmission(AMT) is proposed. The AMT can be easily realized by mounting the pneumatic actuators and sensors on the clutch and shift levers of the conventional manual transmission. By using the electronic-controlled AMT, engine and induction machine, it is possible to achieve the integrated control of overall system for the efficiency and the performance of the vehicle. Performing the speed control of the induction machine and the engine, the synchronization at gear shifting and the smooth engagement of clutch can be guaranteed. And it enables to reduce the shift shock and shorten the shift time. Hence, it results in the improvement of shift quality and the driving comfort of the vehicle. Dynamometer-based experiments are carried out to prove the validity of the proposed shift control algorithm.

  • Due to economic growth, the number of cars has grown rapidly and consequently traffic accidents have grown in direct ratio. This reminds us that braking device of a vehicle is an important factor to prevent traffic accidents. Aim these researches to speed and lighten the braking system of vehicles, to lengthen its durability and to shorten the stopping distance. However, it is still difficult to analyze quantitatively and clearly the reason and solution for abnormal wear of disc and pad or judder in flywheel mode. Therefore this study was carried out to presume for mutual relation of analysis condition to get the optimum temperature by two-way layout. The results shown that coefficient of determination has a fine reliability over 92.57% and temperature is made by two-way layout.
