Tidal mudflat is a reservoir for diverse microbial resources. Microbial diversity in tidal mudflat sediment can be easily influenced by various human activities. It is necessary to take representative samples to monitor microbial diversity in tidal mudflat sediments. In this study, we analyzed the microbial diversity and chemical characteristics of vegetation and non-vegetation tidal mudflat regions in the Kangwha tidal mudflat using geo-statistics and data-mining. According to the geo-statistical analysis, most correlation range values for the vegetation region were smaller than those for the non-vegetation region, which suggested that the shorter number and interval of sampling are required for the vegetation tidal mudflat environment due to its higher degree of chemical and biological complexity and heterogeneity. The data-mining analysis suggested that the organic content and nitrate were the major environmental factors influencing microbial diversity in the vegetation region while pH and sulfate were the major influencing factors in the non-vegetation region. Using the geo-statistical and data-mining integration approach, we proposed a guideline for determining the sampling interval and number to monitor microbial diversity in tidal mudflat.

There always exists uncertainty which is mainly due to uncertainty of the evaluation of a geotechnical structure at a site. The uncertainty in the geotechnical analysis can be considered in the probabilistic analysis using the Monte Carlo Simulation. It needs various soil profiles which could be possible at the target site. In this study, a new method is proposed to generate soil profiles which are probable at the site. The proposed method analyzes a structure of a site and generates one dimensional soil profiles for a probabilistic analysis. Through the field application, the applicability of the prosed method was shown.

Multiculturalism may be deeply connected with the diversities of cultures and enlightenment discussed in the context that we live together with the specification of cultures derived from any spatial conditions overtly and covertly. People live on their own customs compatible with their space and the time, and they make their boundaries of races, nations, and national memories. In such a way each of them treats each other exclusively and is inclined not to recognize being of the others. Also people are apt to recognize the others unessentially and overlook the others's value and way of life. As a result they might destroy the foundation of symbiotic livings conditions on their own. On the other hand they pretend to search for the cultural diversities of the others and include them under their own universalities, resulting in conflicts. Hence it is required that we should make an efforts to prepare the fields for living together through getting over the problem of the recognition of matters and affairs before us. From the above-told critical mind this thesis seeks the multicultural relativities and more arrives at the relationalities discussed by East-Asiatic philosophers of Chuang Tzu and Ch'oe Han-gi. Especially by gazing at the idea of the interconnectedness which means activities, changeabilities and mobilities, appeared on the idea of Ch'oe Han-Gi's revolving transformation, it is stressed that the communications of the local with each other in the various aspects of, e.g. materials, regions and cultures should be achieved.

담배 주류연은 수천가지 종류의 다양한 형태의 화학물질로 구성되어있고, 이들 화학물질의 대부분은 극히 미량의 농도로 존재하는 것으로 알려져 있다(Green and Rodgman, 1996). 담배연기 속에서 발암물질로서는 poly cyclic aromatic hydrycarbon (PAHs) 류인 B(a)P를 최초로 보고된 이후, 현재까지 69종의 화합물이 담배연기중의 발암물질로서 알려졌으며, 여기에는 9종의 PAHs 그리고 4종의 aromatic amine, nitrosoamines 및 aldehydes 그리고 다른 무기 및 유기 화합물들을 포함된다. 또한 담배 주류연에는 여러 화학물질들에 의해 유발된 생물학적 독성을 상당히 감소시키는 것으로 확인된 성분들이 존재하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이러한 담배연기 중에 존재하는 항 발암성 효과를 나타내는 성분들의 작용 메카니즘은 발암성 물질 또는 발암성 물질의 대사산물들과 반응을 하거나, 불활성화 시키거나, 세포 구성 물질들과의 반응에서 서로 경쟁하거나, 또는 발암성의 흡수를 간섭함으로서 발암성 효과를 없애거나 또는 감소시키는 것으로 생각된다. 여러 연구자들은 담배연기 응축물에서 종양 성장의 억제 작용을 하는 성분들이 존재하는 것으로 주장 하고 있다.(Hoffmann and Griffin, 1958; Fall et al., 1964; Homburger and Tregier, 1965). 담배 연기 중에는 발암성을 나타내는 성분들과 함께 항 발암성 및 항 돌연변이성 효과를 나타내는 성분들이 존재한다는 것이 다양한 생물학적 평가 연구들에 의해 증명되었다(Slaga and DiGivanni, 1984; Fay et al., 1984; Green and Rodgman, 1996).

다양한 DRM 클라이언트들간의 컨텐츠 공유를 제공하기 위해서는 우선 DRM 기술에 대한 호환성의 보장이 필수적으로 이루어져야 한다. 그러나 다양한 DRM 서비스 제공자들이 존재하고 여러 DRM 기술이 존재하는 현재와 같은 상황에 있어서 DRM 클라이언트 디바이스들간의 호환성은 기대하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 도메인과 같은 다수의 디바이스들이 집합에서 서로간의 호환성을 보장하기 위한 DRM 모델을 제시하고 DRM 클라이언트에서의 컨텐츠 재생을 위한 라이센스 전송 프로토콜을 제안한다.

Depending on the type of textbook, the word and mathematical notation expression used in high school mathematics textbooks varied and there were also some differences on the mathematical definition and the content description methods. Not only the composition of textbooks but also various expressing ways of textbooks have significant impacts on teaching and learning of teacher and student. The diversity of expression had pros and cons like both sides of a coin. There is a positive aspect that we can pursue pedagogical diversity. Simultaneously there is a negative aspect that the possibility of acting as a learning burden exists in the viewpoint of the student and the equality of evaluation may be undermined. In this study, Preferentially we focused on analyzing the actual situation rather than judging what is more appropriate about the diversity of words and notation expressions used in mathematics textbooks which is based on the current curriculum. For this purpose, we analyzed 56 kinds of mathematics textbooks based on the 2009 revised mathematics curriculum, and presented four aspects(terms expressing, notations expression, mathematical definition, content description method) with examples about differences of the various expressions used in textbooks including 'terms and notations'.

다목적 함수의 최적화 문제(Multiobjective optimization problems)의 경우에는 하나의 최적해가 존재하는 것이 아니라 '파레토 최적해 집합(Pareto optimal set)'이라고 알려진 해들의 집합이 존재한다. 이러한 이상적 파레토 최적해 집합과 가까운 최적해를 찾기 위한 다양한 해탐색 능력은 진화 알고리즘의 성능을 결정한다. 본 논문에서는 게임 모텔에 기반한 공진화 알고리즘(GCEA:Game model based Co-Evolutionary Algorithm)에서 해집단의 다양성을 유지하여, 다양한 비지배적 파레토 대안해(non-dominated alternatives)들을 찾기 위한 방법을 제안한다.

In searching for solutions to multiobjective optimization problem, we find that there is no single optimal solution but rather a set of solutions known as 'Pareto optimal set'. To find approximation of ideal pareto optimal set, search capability of diverse individuals at population space can determine the performance of evolutionary algorithms. This paper propose the method to maintain population diversify and to find non-dominated alternatives in Game model based Co-Evolutionary Algorithm.

기하학에서 도형에 대한 철학적 사유에 대해서 다양한 논의가 있었고 고대 그리스 철학자들도 점에 대한 다양한 정의가 있어 왔다. 데카르트의 좌표의 발견으로 도형은 좌표 상의 수식으로 표현이 가능하며 좌표에 대응 하는 수는 점으로 인식하게 되었다. 수가 도형으로 변환된 좌표계 상에서 점은 그 존재성을 어떻게 인식하게 할 것인가에 대한 고찰을 좌표계와 좌표계에 표현된 점과 그를 인식하는 관찰자의 의식의 속도 개념으로 설명하고자 한다.
