As the scale of network expands largely, most of users consume much cost for complex network that composes various network environments. In this paper, we propose a network management framework employing active management program generation facilities in order to reduce the cost and time for developing a network management program. The proposed framework consists of several basic components including configuration management, performance management, and fault management for real time network management. Besides those components, it has an added active program generator in order to actively create information of network objects that are managed through the basic components. Our framework manages the network with SNMP manager using the information of network objects. This information is generated automatically instead of the existing manual manner. We shows that the cost and time for developing a network management program is reduced through the construction and operations on the real network.

In this paper, we designed and implemented the ACE(ACtive Emergency call service system) system for emergency call service actively. ACE system has two physical components; E-Device(Emergency Mobile Device) and E-Server(Emergency Server). The role of E-Device is the mobile device in order to call emergency by using mild handi-capped, the elderly and children who are able to communicate theirs intention to another. E-Server is the server for management E-devices with realtime monitering. E-Device will be developed to the portable size for easily mild handi-capped, the elderly and children. When they need the service of emergency call, the button of E-device can be used and the call signal is transmitted to the emergency office and the guardian through Internet and CDMA. E-server should be developed the integrated control system for management of E-Devices basically. And it also supported to realtime monitoring of E-devices with respect to high quality of emergency call service for rise the efficiency.

We analyze the performance of MAC-layer Reed-Solomon error recovery in the cdma2000 1xEV-DO Broadcast and Multicast Services (BCMCSs) environment, with respect to the size of the ECB (Error Control Block) and the air-channel condition, and establish the relationship between ECB size, error recovery capacity and service latency. From this we propose an adaptive error recovery scheme which adjusts the size of the ECB to reflect the environment of the mobile nodes so as to meet the required service quality (target bit error-rate), while reducing the latency of real-time applications. Extensive simulation results show the effectiveness of our approach compared to the current static scheme. Proposed adaptive schemes achieves near optimal solution with respect to service latency while satisfying the required service quality.

Recently, more and more hospitals have become interested in the innovation of healthcare services and processes through IT convergence based on RFID, NFC, smart devices and so on. This paper presents a case of process innovation by implementing a smart health checkup system using these advanced information technologies. The existing inefficient health checkup process based on the paper chart and manual work has been innovated using the advanced information and communication technologies. The newly developed smart health checkup system has been used successfully in a tertiary university hospital named Samsung Medical Center since April 2013. The contributions of the system include improvement of service quality, enhancement of customer satisfaction, reduction in workload of staffs, improvement of work accuracy, and accordingly reinforcement of the competitiveness of the hospital.

세계적으로 온라인 평판 분석 서비스의 개발 및 SNS 이슈 분석과 영향도 평가 등의 서비스 이용추세가 증가하고 있다. 현재 SNS나 소셜미디어등 온라인을 통해 고객들의 서비스에 대한 정성적인 평가 및 요구사항이 실시간으로 표현되고 있으며, 서비스에 대한 부정적인 여론이 확산되기 전에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있는 시스템의 필요성이 기업들에게 시급히 요구되고 있다. 이러한 시스템 개발을 위해서 선행되어야 할 기술개발 요건으로 B2C 산업의 특성에 기반한 다양한 분석 주제를 설정하고, 이에 맞는 다양한 동일 산업군에 대한 시스템 적용을 위한 분류 표준화가 필수이다. 본 연구에서는 이를 수행하기 위해서 대표 산업군을 선정하여 기존 업무 분류 체계를 기반으로 한 온라인상의 고객 피드백 분류 및 표준화 수립에 대한 방법을 제안한다.

최근 인터넷의 급속한 성장과 빠른 보급, 정보통신 분야의 기술퓨전 현상들은 인터넷을 이용한 다양한 컨텐츠의 개발을 가속화시키고 있다. 특히 멀티미디어 스트리밍 기술은 일반 사용자들에게 동영상은 물론 풍부한 멀티미디어 데이터 전송을 통하여 능동적인 대화형 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 장점들을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 접속 횟수 및 접속시간 등의 빈도수에 따른 사용자 개인 가중치를 이용하여 사용자에게 보다 친숙하고 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 비디오 데이터 서비스를 제공하고자 하였으며, 카테고리 기반 및 키워드 기반에 따른 사용자 접근 정보를 이용하여 비디오 데이터를 분류하고 선별한 검색 서비스를 제공하고자 하였다. 또한 비디오 브라우징 시스템을 이용하여 사용자가 원하는 항목에 대한 비디오 검색을 장면 검색에서 샷 검색까지 프레임단위로 동영상을 이용하여 브라우징 할 수 있도록 하였으며, 해당 영역의 텍스트 및 관련 정보를 보다 세밀하고 정확하게 브라우징 할 수 있도록 정보를 제공하고자 하였다.

천리안 위성은 4개 정부 부처 공동 사업으로, 통신 서비스, 해양 기상 관측 서비스 제공을 목적으로 개발된 복합 위성으로, 그중 통신 서비스를 담당하는 통신 탑재체는 방송통신위원회 출연으로 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)가 주관, 개발하여 성공한 순수 국산 개발품으로, 위성 발사 성공 후 시험 검증을 거쳐 현재 정상 운용 중에 있다. 우주 인증 획득을 목적으로 개발한 통신 탑재체는 위성 스위칭 중계기와 다중 빔 안테나로 구성되었으며, 구성 부품들인 능동 부품과 수동 부품들은 대부분 국내 연구진에 의해 설계, 제작 시험 검증되어 중계기 및 안테나 시스템 종합화, 통신 탑재체 및 위성체 우주 환경 시험을 성공적으로 수행되었다. 위성 발사 성공 후에, 정지 궤도상에서의 통신 탑재체 궤도내 시험을 완료를 통해 순수국산 개발된 통신 탑재체의 설계 제작 기술에 대한 정지 궤도 우주환경에서도 정상 동작됨을 입증하였다. 통신 탑재체는 다양한 우주 조건에서의 다양한 기술 확보와 차세대 멀티미디어 위성 서비스 개발에 활용하고자 한다. 본 논문은 통해기 통신 탑재체 설계 제작 시험 기술을 소개하고, 활용 계획에 대해 언급하고자 한다.

무선 컴퓨팅 환경에서는 기존의 분산 미들웨어의 기능에 더하여 네트워크 운영체제와 사용자 응용프로그램 사이에서 컴퓨팅 장치의 이질성, 장치의 제한된 처리 능력, 사용자의 높은 이동성 등을 해결하고 이동하는 사용자에게 정보 및 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 보다 강력한 미들웨어가 요구된다. 더 나아가 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서는 모바일 컴퓨팅 에서의 사용자 이동성에 대한 지원뿐만 아니라 다양한 상황을 인식하고 상황 정보를 수집하며 변화하는 상황에 적응할 수 있는 새로운 미들웨어 시스템의 개발이 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사용자의 요구사항을 능동적으로 반영하고 사용자에게 유연한 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 다양하고 동적인 상황의 변화를 인식하고 이에 적응할 수 있는 서비스 적응 알고리즘을 연구한다.

데이터방송 기술은 디지털방송으로 전환하면서 방송서비스를 기존 서비스와 차별짓는 가장 중요한 기술로 대두되고 있다. 데이터방송은 멀티미디어 데이터를 기존 방송 프로그램에 부가하여 제공하는 기술로서 날씨, 간단한 뉴스, 증권정보 등 많은 사람들이 관심을 갖는 일반적인 정보나, 현재 방송되고 있는 프로그램과 관련된 등장인물, 지난 줄거리, 등의 추가적인 정보를 제공함으로써 방송시청을 좀 더 능동적이고 정보중심의 시청이 되도록 하는 역할을 하게 된다. 이러한 데이터 방송은 그 전송방식이나 제공되는 데이터의 성격에 대한 공개된 표준을 정함으로써, 많은 사람들이 다양하고 유연한 서비스 제공을 위한 기기 및 소프트웨어 개발을 원활히 할 수 있게 된다. 국내에서는 지상파 데이터방송 표준으로 ATSC-DASE 표준을 채택하였으며 현재 기술 및 서비스 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 향후 데이터방송 기술은 계속 진화할 것으로 예상되며, 이를 통하여 TV 방송은 정보화 사회의 정보획득 및 활용을 위한 중요한 수단이 될 것으로 기대된다.
