There was widespread criticism of the online news services due to their bias toward sensational and soft news. Thus, news services based on journalist values are socially requested. News source network analysis(NSNA), an algorithm to cluster and weight news sources, quotes, and articles, is suggested as a method to emphasize on journalist values like facts, variety, depth, and criticism in the previous study. This study suggests 'News Sources' as a visualization tool of NSNA. 'News Sources' shows news as bar graphs, weighted by facts and criticism, and arranged by organizations and subjects. This study designed a beta version using KINDS, a news archive of Korean Press Foundation.

현재, TPEG 포럼(Forum)에서는 RTM전술한 바와 같이 주차장 정보(PKI), 혼잡 및 여행시간 정보(CTI), 날씨정보(WEA), 환경오염경보(EIA) 등의 신규 서비스에 대한 표준화가 진행중에 있지만, TPEG에서 정의된 TTI(교통 및 여행(자) 정보) 응용서비스는 RTM과 PTI와 같은 교통정보에만 국한되어 서비스 제공되고 있다. 본 논문은 TPEG 기반 응용서비스의 다양성 한계를 극복하고 많은 고부가가치 서비스들 중에 뉴스정보(News)를 선정하고, 기존 TPEG(Transport Protocol Expert Group) 프로토콜과 호환성을 유지하며, 이동멀티미디어 방송 시스템을 통해 효과적으로 서비스할 수 있는 프레임 구조를 정의한다. 이를 위해, 기존 TPEG프레임의 구조를 분석하고, 신규 응용서비스(뉴스정보)를 위한 프레임을 구성하는 각 필드들과 각 필드에 쓰여질 관련 DB 테이블과 구성방법을 정의한다. 또한 이동멀티미디어 방송시스템(T-DMB)을 통한 콘텐츠 저작, 스트림 생성 및 전송, 그리고 TPEG 디코더가 내장된 수신단말에서의 구현 결과물을 보임으로써 신규 제안된 뉴스정보의 타당성을 검증한다.

인터넷의 급성장과 함께 인터넷을 통해 제공되는 서비스 중 사용자들에게 제공되는 뉴스서비스는 사용자가 원하지 않은 뉴스들까지 제공됨으로써 원하는 뉴스만을 골라서 제공받을 수 있는 시스템의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자가 입력하는 키워드를 이용하여 각 뉴스서버에서 제공하는 뉴스 중 사용자의 요구에 적합한 뉴스를 필터링하는 에이전트 시스템을 구현하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the contributions and limitations of an independent internet newspaper dedicated to disability affairs. The materials analysed in this study were articles on personal assistance service conflicts between users and assistants by Ablenews. This study used inductive content analysis, responsibility frame analysis, and disability paradigm analysis. First, in general Ablenews appeared to report personal assistance service conflicts as they were. Second, the results showed that Ablenews tended to attribute the causes and solutions of the conflicts to the users and assistants. Third, nearly half of content units of Ablenews articles conveyed the perspective of rehabilitation paradigm though personal assisstanc services are closely related to independent living model. Based on the results this study suggested that Ablenews needs to improve specialty in reports on disability affairs using editorial staff, professional reporters, guests reporters with specialties.

인터넷의 영역이 확대됨에 따라 인터넷에서 다양하고 많은 정보를 제공받게 되었다. 뉴스의 영역도 그중 하나로 신문사, 방송사 등의 많은 언론사들이 인터넷으로 서비스를 확대함에 따라 뉴스 정보의 과다현상이 일어나게 되었다. 이 때문에 사용자는 방대한 뉴스들 중에서 원하는 뉴스만 걸러서 보기를 원하게 되었고 이를 위한 뉴스 필터링 방법이 연구되었다. 뉴스 필터링 기술들은 주로 사용자의 관심 사항을 예측하여 제공해 주는 뉴스 추천 시스템을 위한 기술 개발에 초점을 두었다. 그러나 기존의 뉴스 필터링 기술들은 사용자의 관심 있어할 만한 뉴스를 추천할 뿐, 관심 없는 뉴스를 제외시키지는 못한다. 예를들어, 어떤 특종 사건이 생기면 이 사건을 보도하기 위한 뉴스들이 각 언론사 마다 생성되고, 뉴스 추천서비스를 사용하는 사용자는 기존의 뉴스 필터링 방법에 의해 사용자가 관심 있다고 예측되는 이 사건에 대한 뉴스를 제공받게 된다. 그러나 사용자가 이미 추천된 뉴스 중 하나의 뉴스 혹은 그와 동일한 내용의 다른 언론사에서 제공되는 뉴스를 읽었다면 추천된 뉴스는 이미 알고 있는 정보이므로 사용자는 이 뉴스에 대하여 관심이 없을 것이다. 기존의 뉴스 필터링 방법은 추천 시 중복된 뉴스를 제거하지 못하는 문제점을 지닌다. 이 논문은 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 육하원칙 기반의 필터링 방법을 제시하고, 실험을 통해 이 논문이 제시한 방법의 장단점을 보인다.

With the proliferation of internet and an increase in internet users, several kinds of vast information are provided to users on the internet. It is increasing in the need of personalization service by filtering user preferred news among various news documents provided through several news servers.. In this paper, we implemented a filtering agent system to meet to demand for personalized news service. In the proposed system, Kohonen network is used to train keywords provided by users and to classify news groups. Resulting from that, the personalized new service is achieved. After we trained and tested the filtering agent, we could provide users news groups with their intention.

This study began by pointing out the problem of domestic media reporting on 'fake news' regulations that frequently appear through the French 'Les proposals de loi control de l'information'case, while still approaching with different standards and perspectives on where to see fake news. In the age of 'social network services', the answer to what the media is, what the news is, and who the reporter is increasingly difficult. While reviewing the long history and background of the spread of fake news examined in this study, it was confirmed that could not determine the concept and scope of fake news, punished, regulated, controlled, or judged simply by one standard. From the perspective of 'freedom of expression' set by the law, we have the authority to express our opinions freely. In addition, 'online' space is a place where fake news is generated and spread, but at the same time, there is plenty of room to act as an antidote. In the end, the only alternative to the damage of long-term fake news will be to create a media environment that allows more high-quality "real news" to pour out, allowing us to develop our ability to judge reliable information through balanced competition among various news in the free market of ideas.

최근 Device 의 대중화로 모바일 폰 사용자는 언제 어디서라도 정보서비스 및 멀티미디어 동영상 서비스를 쉽게 접할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만, 작은 화면과 불편한 User Interface 를 가진 모바일 Device 의 한계와 양적인 컨텐츠의 증가로 인하여 사용자가 원하는 정보를 Access 하기에는 너무 많은 시간과 비용이 소요되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 Accessibility 욕구를 충족하고 시간과 비용을 절감하기 위한 방법으로서 무선 인터넷 환경에서의 추천 시스템을 기반으로 방대한 분량의 뉴스 컨텐츠 가운데 개인화 된 뉴스를 선별, 제공해 주는 지능형 추천 시스템을 설계 구현하고자 한다. 본 논문은 인공 지능 분야 중 에이전트의 추천 역할과 기능면에서 Collaborative Filtering 방법이 갖고 있는 계산 속도 문제에 대한 대안으로서, 유사한 선호도의 사용자를 특성에 따라 분류하기 위해 군집분석을 이용했으며, 각 군집별로 뉴스 카테고리를 Weighting 한 후, 뉴스 컨텐츠를 Scoring, Listing하여 사용자가 읽은 뉴스에 대한 평가를 기록하고 이틀 각 군집별로 반영하는 방법을 수행하였다. 추가로 뉴스 컨텐츠의 사용자 만족도를 평가하기 위하여 뉴스를 처음부터 끝까지 읽은 완독률을 측정기준으로 제시하고 일반적인 무선 인터넷 환경하의 뉴스 메뉴체계와 비교하여 설계된 시스템의 성능에 대한 유효성을 검증하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze news content consumption of news consumers in which a few media conglomerates control news consumption market caused by deregulation of media policy and development of Internet communication technology. In doing so, this study analyzes the consumption realities of news consumers in the new news consumption market generated by new media and mobile communication technologies, and the effects how the new news consumption market influences on news consumption pattern of audiences. After surveyed 229 news consumers, this study founded that news consumers use NAVER(news portal site) mainly while consuming news contents, specifically younger generation tends to use NAVER heavily. Furthermore, it is founded that news consumers chose news outlets for consuming news contents not by the quality of news contents and the function of the news outlets but by their own convenience.

As Internet users increasingly consume news through the Internet, Internet portals face criticism that they are quickening the softening of public news and molding public opinions. Some portals have started to provide newscast services that directly connect the press, not grouping news sources on their own standards. This study aims to clarify how news grouping models and newscast models are different in terms of news softening and agenda setting. Specifically, authors conduct a content analysis on time-specific news content provided by top three portals-Naver, Daum, and Nate. By doing so, this study examines characteristics of news service models of Internet portals and their social and political implications. According to our study, the softening and tabloidization of portal news had not been improved even after adopting the newscast model. Therefore, portal journalism should be reorganized as a way to circulate healthy and qualified news content.
