  • A total of 19 commercial facilities and 6 agricultural product stores are operated. Among the commercial facilities, restaurants accounted for the greatest portion. Most commercial facilities and agricultural product stores have been owned and run by a local resident.

  • Properly designed plastic packages of fresh produce can preserve the quality by maintaining the optimal modified atmosphere (MA) at optimal low temperature conditions, but cannot do so at temperature abuse conditions in retail stage due to occurrence of injurious package atmosphere coming from imbalance between respiration and package gas permeation. Master packaging system consisting of a double-layered secondary package wrapping several individual (primary) packages has been proposed and applied recently to the commodities of sweet persimmon, king oyster mushroom, chestnut and strawberry. The master (secondary) pack is designed to be stored and distributed under chilled temperature, and then dismantled when moved to the retail display from the presale chilled storage. The master packaging system taking into consideration temperature dependence of produce respiration and package gas transfer was looked into with examination of its design variables to maintain the beneficial MA. Mathematical model was provided to help the design of master packaging system creating the desired MA. Its benefits of quality preservation and its limitations in practices of fresh produce marketing were discussed. Further research direction to extend the applicability of the produce master packaging system was presented.

  • This paper proposes a consumer-tailored solution to prevent the forgery and falsification of data by incorporating blockchain technology in the online and offline distribution of agricultural produce. The solution provides customized services to consumers based on an analysis of the data generated from the sales, distribution, and consumption of quality of the produce. It can also ensure the safety and credibility of the produce, and allow producers to identify consumption intent and the flow of distribution. Producers will be able to determine the flow of produce based on the data collected and thus tailor promotional efforts. This is expected to be the fourth industrial revolution in the agricultural produce distribution sector. Utilizing blockchain and big data technology to create integrated record management systems that combine multiple solutions will shape future technology trends. In addition, if eco-friendly certification is acknowledged as a valuable service and can be incorporated into the distribution process, this solution could become a one-stop distribution solution for agricultural produce.

Cause there are not sure about the quality of the cheap foreign agricultural product imported. There are not even sure where they have been produced, Some excessive use of domestic pesticides, And Environmental pollution caused by soil contamination of plantation, It's not only matter with the conscience of the Sellers and producers. The government recommends agricultural producers to attach the mark to identify where the products are made originally. However, if producers do not comply with the recommendation, it become useless. Recently, because of the increased interest to health and food, Consumers want accurate and reliable information about The agricultural products, They buy. In this paper, Based on the RFID technology, RFID tags attached to agricultural products when consumers buy, Through the RFID reader to read RFID tags, Which make Easy to accurately convey Production of agricultural information and safety information to consumers. These features have been implemented with the traceability system.

The Study on the Quality of Pre-Processed Vegetables in School and Institutional Food-Service (단체급식에서 사용되는 전처리 농산물의 품질 특성 분석)

  • This study was performed to investigate the quality of pre-processed vegetables used in school and institutional food-services. Pre-processed food materials (carrot, potato, and cabbage) frequently used in food-service were collected from 14 various processing company sources. The sensory and physico-chemical qualities of the pre-processed food materials were determined using sensory and instrumental analysis. For the physico-chemical analysis of the food materials, pH, total acidity, hardness, Hunter colorimeter value, reducing sugar and vitamin C content were determined. For the sensory quality evaluation, 15 panelist were trained and consensus was reached on the quality standards of the preprocessed materials (carrot, potato, and cabbage). Finally, appearance, color, texture, off-odor/taste, and overall quality were determined. In the physico-chemical analysis, there were no significant differences among samples collected from various processing companies. In sensory quality evaluations, the color quality of pre-processed potato was lower than that of other materials. From the coefficient correlations and partial least squares regression analysis between sensory and instrumental data, pH, total acidity, colorimeter values, and hardness were considered important components in assessing the quality of pre-processed vegetables.

Monitoring and Safety Assessment of Pesticide Residues on Agricultural Products Sold via Online Websites (온라인 판매 농산물 잔류농약 실태 및 안전성 평가)

  • This study was carried out to monitor the current status of pesticide residues in selling agricultural products via online and assessed their safety in 2014. A total of 124 samples were purchased six times from March to August 2014 twenty online shopping malls randomly. These samples were analysed 208 pesticides by multiresidue method using a GC-ECD/NPD and a LC-MS/MS and confirmed by a GC-MSD. As a result of analysis, residual pesticides samples were 11 (8.9%) such as leek, young radish, welsh onion etc, of which 2 samples (1.6%) such as sesame bud (Chlorothalonil), artemisia (Chlorpyrifos) were violated Korea Maximum Residue limits (MRLs). 11 kinds of pesticides (19 times) were detected in 11 samples. Risk assessment evaluated human health exposure with the ratio of EDI (Estimated daily intake) to ADI (Acceptable daily intake) of pesticides detected. %ADI (the ratios of EDI to ADI) were 0.04~95.70% and some samples represented a fairly dangerous levels. In particular, Chlorothalonil in the sesame bud was shown as a significant risk close to 100% of %ADI. Accordingly, it is recommended to strengthen a safety check on agricultural products in online sales.

  • 농식품 패키지디자인과 브랜드 개념은 이미 90년대 중반부터 중요성을 인식하고 있었으나, 생산자 위주의 포장디자인과 유사브랜드의 개발로 차별성이 없고 경쟁력이 떨어지고 있다. 특히 오늘날과 같이 고객의 요구가 다양해지고 시장이 세분화 되고 있는 상황에서 농산물도 품질, 기능, 가격 등의 차별화만으로는 더 이상 경쟁력을 확보할 수 없고, 다른 상품과 달리 소비자가 쉽게 구매결정을 하는 저관여제품이므로, 더욱 더 포장디자인의 역할이 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 외국의 포장디자인의 현황 및 일본의 성공적인 6차 산업과 포장디자인의 사례를 분석한 후 농촌산업의 활성화를 위한 포장디자인의 발전 전략을 제안하고자 한다. 농산물 포장디자인의 기대효과는 농업의 고부가가치화, 농가소득 증대, 농촌경제 활성화를 위한 농촌산업화 전략이다. 이를 위해 체계적인 방안을 모색하여 차별화할 수 있는 연구를 지속적으로 진행하고, 특히 상품판매를 위한 포장디자인은 농산물 소비량 증대와 농촌경제를 성장시키는 중요한 역할을 하므로 이에 대한 전략 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 최근 스마트 기기를 통한 농업활동을 통해 생산과 유통, 소비에서 새로운 유통체계를 구축하기 위한 노력이 활발해지고, 스마트 모바일 기기와 IT융합으로 유통, 판매 구조가 빠르게 변함에 따라 차세대 유통모델인 가상공간에서의 농산물 거래를 위한 서비스 모델 개발이 필요한 시점이다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 가상공간에서의 농산물 서비스 모델은 모바일 통합 플랫폼으로 스마트폰(App)을 통하여 서비스를 제공한다.

  • 창조경제를 지향하는 정부의 농정핵심 목표로 6차 산업화 정책강화와 농림업의 산업 부흥을 추구하면서 농가에서도 새로운 방식의 혁신이 필요해지고 있다. 6차 산업이란 1차 산업의 농림수산업, 2차 산업의 제조 가공업, 3차 산업의 서비스업을 복합한 산업으로, 농산물을 생산만 하던 농가가 고부가가치 상품을 가공하고 향토 자원을 이용해 서비스업으로 확대해 높은 부가가치를 발생시키는 산업을 말한다. 이에 본지는 생산, 판매, 유통까지 6차 산업을 실현화하고 있는 푸른농장을 찾았다.
