Forecasting of Real Time Traffic Situation (실시간 교통상황 예보)

  • This paper proposes a new concept of coordinating green this which controls 10 traffic intersection systems. For instance, if we have a baseballs game at 8 pm today, traffic volume toward the baseball game at 8 pm today, traffic volume toward the baseball game will be incr eased 1 hour or 1 hour 30 minutes before the baseball game. at that time we can not pred ict optimal green time Even though there have smart elctrosensitive traffic light system. Therefore, in this paper to improve average vehicle speed and reduce average vehicle waiting time, we created optimal green time using fuzzy rules and neural network. Computer simulation results proved reducing average vehicle waiting time proposed coordinating green time better than electro-sensitive traffic light system. Therefore, in this paper to improvevehicle speed and reduce average vehicle waiting time, we created optiual green time fuzzy rules and neural network. Computer simulation results proved reducing average vehicle waiting time which proposed coordinating green time better than electro-sensitive traffic light system dosen't consider coordinating green time.

  • The linear traffic model(Vertical queueing model) that is adopted widely in traffic flow estimation assumes that all vehicles have the identical motion before joining a queue at the stop-line. Thus, a queue is supposed to form vertically not horizontally. Due to the simplicity of this model, the departure time of the leading vehicle is assumed to coincide with the start of effective green time. Thus, the delay estimates given by the Vertical queueing model is not always realistic. This paper explores a microscopic traffic model(a Kinematic Car-following model at Signalised intersections: a KCS traffic model) based on the one dimensional Kinematic equations in physics. A comparative evaluation in delay and sensitivity of delay difference between the KCS traffic model and the previously known Vertical queueing model is presented. The results show that the delay estimate in the Vertical queueing model is always greater than or equal to the KCS traffic model; however, the sensitivity of delay in the KCS traffic model is greater than the Vertical queueing model.

  • Bus signal priority is a name for various techniques to speed up bus public transport services at intersections with traffic signals. In this study propose methodology to optimize signal times for Early green, Green extension out of the active bus signal priority using deterministic delay model in isolated intersection on median bus lane. Fluctuation is found in the vehicle delay and person delay in the event that using this methodology redistributed to green time and checking slack green time is correct value by sensitivity analysis. As a result of the study, car delay is increased a little and person delay is decreased. As a result of slack green time sensitivity, delay is not much in it if variation of slack green time under 30%. But this methodology effectiveness is under claimed capacity if variation of slack green time over 30%.

A Study of the Intersection in Reduce Car Accidents for Traffic Signal Light to Supplement (교차로 사고 감소를 위한 신호등 보완에 관한 연구)

  • Three types of traffic signal systems are two-color signal systems that flash red and green and are mainly used on crosswalks, next, three-color equalization systems mainly used at T-shaped intersections with red and yellow lights and a green arrow, and third, four-color intersections that generally have red, yellow and green colored lights and a green arrow. In what is known as the "dilemma zone" area, a driver collects information that influences his/her decision whether to stop, speed, tail, interrupt, or violate a traffic light, depending on the intersection width, vehicle speed, cognitive response time and reference yellow signal time. This study examined the impact of changes in the length of the dilemma zone areas based on changes in yellow signal times, the speed of the intersection passages, and signal lamps. Downward adjustments of 50km/h and 60km/h affected yellow signal time. The yellow signal time increased by 0.1 to 2.3[s] due to this effect and the dilemma zone area increased by 1.22 to 26[m]. The driver of the dilemma zone could quickly decide to reduce the time remaining of the straight (3color, 4color) green signal to reduce the potential of a traffic accident at the intersection traffic. Safe entry of red (LED palm) and left-turn signals for entering flashed at the intersection and operated at midnight.

Prevention of the Green-grey Discoloration in Retorted Liquid Whole Eggs (가압살균한 전난액의 녹색변이 방지에 관한 연구)

  • In order to use the liquid whole eggs as an ingredients of retorted products, the provention of the green-grey discoloration of retorted liquid whole eggs by the addition of the Na$_2$EDTA was investigated. And palatability change of the retorted liquid whole eggs by the addition of Na$_2$EDTA was also investigated. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. More severe green-grey discoloration was occurred when higher cooking temperature and longer cooking time were used. 2. Green-grey discoloration of retorted liquid whole eggs could be prevented by the addition of about 0.015% of Na$_2$EDTA. 3. The palatability of retorted liquid whole eggs was not lowered by the addition of 0.02% of Na$_2$EDTA and green grey discoloration was not developed during the storage time of 22 days at room temperature.

  • '2011 대한민국 녹색에너지대전'이 지식경제부 주최, 에너지관리공단 주관으로 지난 10월 19일 서울 삼성동 코엑스(A,B홀)에서 개최되었다. 올 해로 31회를 맞이한 대한민국 녹색에너지대전은 '세이브 에너지, 스마트 라이프(Save Energy, Smart Life)라는 주제로 13개국, 247개 업체가 참가하였으며, 에너지절약 및 효율 향상 분야, 신재생에너지분야, 기후변화대응분야 등 녹색에너지 분야 전반을 총망라한 최신 녹색기술 제품들이 전시되었다. 이번 전시회는 코트라 주관의 수출상담회, 신재생에너지 유공자 포상이 열렸으며, 일반인 대상의 '신재생에너지 체험관'을 전시기간 내내 운영해 일반 관람객들이 태양광 선풍기 풍력자동차 등을 직접 조립해 보도록 해 관람객들의 호응을 얻었다. 21일 개최된 ESCO투자 사례 발표회에서는 산업체 건물에서 추진된 ESCO 투자 사례 정보를 제공해 주는 뜻 깊은 시간이 되었다. 특히 이번 전시회에는 대내외적으로 에너지절약에 대한 뜨거운 관심이 고조되는 가운데 롯데, LG전자, 삼성전자를 비롯해 효성, 삼천리 등 대기업이 대거 참가, 에너지효율 및 온실가스 저감 최신 기술을 선보였다. 이번 전시회에서는 에너지효율과 신재생에너지에 관심이 많은 관람객들과 최신에너지 기술을 도입하고자 하는 산업체 임직원, 신재생에너지 및 기후 변화대응분야 신규 사업에 관심이 있는 투자자 등 전시장을 찾는 모두에게 유익한 정보를 제공하는 뜻깊은 시간이 되었다.

Water security assessment using water footprint concept for the Han River (물발자국 개념을 이용한 한강 물안정성 평가)

  • 유역의 물안정성은 공공의 건강, 식량안전과 생태계 보호과 밀접한 연관이 있기에 그에 대한 관심사가 커지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 청색물발자국와 녹색물발자국 개념을 도입하여 물부족과 취약성을 지표로 한 한강의 물안정성을 평가하였다. SWAT모형을 적용하여 청색물 흐름, 녹색물 흐름, 녹색물 저류량을 계산하였다. 청색물은 유역의 물생성량와 지하수 저류량의 합으로 계산되고 녹색물은 실제 증발산량과 토양 수분 함유량의 합으로 계산되는데, 이러한 수문성분들은 SWAT 모형의 결과에서 얻을 수 있다. SWAT 모형은 SUFI-2 최적화 알고리즘을 이용하여 1990-2013년의 관측데이터에 대하여 보정 및 검증을 하였다. 계산결과 청색물의 시간적 분포는 강우패턴의 영향을 받고, 실제 증발산량인 월 녹색물의 흐름은 뚜렷한 계절 패턴을 보여주는 것으로 나타났다. 유역의 물안정성은 생활, 농업과 산업활동 등 인간활동의 물수요와 필요한 환경유지유량을 고려하여 산정하였다. 본 연구에서는 한강유역의 물부족과 취약성에 대한 시간적 변동성을 보여줌으로써 물자원 상황에 대한 이해도를 향상시키고 물 스트레스 기간을 제시하여 물자원의 계획과 관리를 개선 하고자 한다.

Analysis of Bicycle Crossing Times at Signalized Intersections for Providing Safer Right of Bicycle Users (자전거 이용자 행태 반영을 위한 신호교차로에서의 자전거 횡단시간 연구)

  • When allocating traffic signal at the signalized intersection, minimum green time and clearance time for bicyclists should be significantly considered in order to enhance safety aspects to bicyclists when crossing intersections, especially where intersections with exclusive bicycle paths that are physically separated from pedestrians. In this study, field measurements related to bicycle crossing time, including minimum peen time and clearance time, were collected and analyzed according to bicycles crossing types at the signalized intersections where high rate of bicyclists exists. Three types of bicycle crossing are defined as follows 1) stopping: completely stop before crossing (at least one foot on found) 2) riding: crossing with riding bicycle 3) pulling: crossing without riding bicycles. Minimum green time based on pedestrian speeds should be used as crossing time in this case. For bicyclists, speed of bicycle that is applicable to estimate the minimum green time is in the 1.36m/sec($15^{th}$ percentile) to 1.60m/sec($25^{th}$ percentile) range in case of its stopping. Also it is in the 0.75($15^{th}$ percentile) to 0.87($25^{th}$ percentile) range for pulling at crosswalk. In addition, speed of bicycle to consider for calculating the clearance time is in the 2.51m/sec($15^{th}$ percentile) to 2.79m/sec($25^{th}$ percentile). These values also resulted from $15^{th}$ percentile or $25^{th}$ percentile speeds of riding. The results of this study are expected to be supported in traffic signal allocation process, reflecting bicyclists' characteristics.

  • Pedestrian countdown signals were newly introduced to make Pedestrians feel more comfortable and safer in crossing the streets This Paper analysed pedestrian walking-speed through a before-after behavior study Data was collected from 22 sites. and the total number of pedestrians was 19,800. The results showed that the average Pedestrian walking-speed of existing pedestrian signal, an inverted triangle countdown signal and a numeric countdown signal were 1.44, 1.39 and 1.42m/sec. The difference between the three methods was statistically significant. The results showed that the distribution of the walking-speed of existing signal. an inverted triangle countdown signal and a numeric countdown signal were statistically Erlang(0.117, 10) distribution. Weibull(1.17, 3.72) distribution and Gamma(0.137, 8.18) distribution at 95% confidence level.

  • 전자교통신호등은 차량이 교차로에 많을 때에는 교통신호주기를 연장할 수 있고, 교차로에 차량이 적을 경우에는 교통신호주기를 단축할 수 있다. 그러나, 요즈음과 같이 교통체증이 많아서 평균주행속도가 10Km-20Km일 때에는 전자신호등의 기능을 수행할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지 규칙을 이용하여 최단경로검색 및 최적 녹색시간 알고리즘을 제안한다. 컴퓨터 모의실험결과 앞 막힘 현상이 발생하는 경우에는 평균 승용차 대기시간 및 평균주행속도를 10%-32% 가량 개선시킬 수 있음을 입증하였다.
