규모가 방대한 네트워크상에서 네트워크의 침입과 방어의 효과와 유용성을 알아보기 위해, 실존하는 네트워크상에서 직접 침입과 방어를 테스트하는 것은 많은 노력과 비용이 든다. 이와 같은 문제점을 극복하기 위해 인터넷 침입의 표현에 필요한 네트워크 침입 시뮬레이션을 하기 위한 SSFNet 확장 연구가 진행되었다. 본 연구는 SSFNet에 새로이 추가된 L4-Switch 모듈을 이전 연구에서 만들어진 모듈들과 함께 대규모 네트워크 환경에서 네트워크 침입 시뮬레이션을 테스트하였다. 본 시뮬레이션은 L4-Switch와 http클라이언트, http서비스를 제공하는 호스트들을 설정하고, load balancing이 잘 되었는지를 살펴보았다.

센트럴 파킹은 견고한 라우팅 스위치를 도입함으로써 노후된 네트워크를 깨끗이 뜯어 고쳤으며 Y2K문제의 해결과 함께 매우 효율적인 관리 시스템을 구현했다. 센트럴 파킹은 자사의 네트워크가 Y2K 호환에 문제가 있음을 인식, 98년 와덴의 주도하에 네트워크 개선 작업에 착수하게 되었다. 그러나 문제는 생각보다 심각해서 네트워크의 전면적인 재정비가 필요하다는 문제점에 직면하게 되었다. 하지만 문제점을 해결하기 위한 센트럴 파킹의 노력은 그 결실을 봄과 동시에 새로운 네트워크를 통한 많은 효과를 보고 있는 기업으로 변신하는데 성공했다.

This study attempts to investigates big data of marital relationships of Kimhae Kim's family on their genealogy. Through the network analysis, how the relationship between families have been structured and changed longitudinally from 1500s to 1800s. Results showed that the network sizes had increased and centralizations had decreased gradually. However, the results indicated that some families were stably located in the central position on the networks. This study suggests that data on genealogy can be used for big data and social network analyses.

Today, Internet covers a world wide range and most appliances of our life are linked to network from enterprise server to household electric appliance. Therefore, the importances of administrable framework that can grasp network state by real-time is increasing day by day. Our objective in this paper is to describe a network weather report framework that monitors network traffic and performance state to report a network situation including traffic status in real-time. We also describe a mobile agent architecture that collects state information in each network segment. The framework could inform a network manager of the network situation. Through the framework. network manager accumulates network data and increases network operating efficiency.

These days, the network convergence for utilizing heterogeneous network on mobile device is being very actively studied. However, understanding characteristics of physical network interfaces and video encoder is needed for using the network convergence technologies efficiently. Thus, this paper proposes an optimized method for streaming video data through different network paths depending on data characteristics and channel condition. Accordingly, unlike the traditional methods, this study divides scalable coded videos by layer importance, the importance of stream information, and the importance in consideration of video decoder's robustness and selectively sends the data via multiple channels. And the experimental results show over 1dB increment in PSNR. The result of this study will provide an optimized video transmission technique in the next generation network convergence environment in which mobile devices have multiple network interfaces.

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how internal capability adjustments made by subsidiaries in response to local market adaption and market changes, together with the use of internal and external networks, have an impact on the investment performance of such subsidiaries. From the empirical results, it was proven that the larger the extent of internal capability adjustment made by subsidiaries, and the more quickly and flexibly it is implemented, the more positive the investment performance is. The empirical findings also showed that in this process, the use of internal/external network embeddedness has a positive mediating impact on the investment performance. Additionally, the results of statistical analysis support the research hypothesis that external embeddedness has a greater mediating influence on multinational manufacturing companies entering Chinese market than internal embeddedness. It implies to the top managers of subsidiaries that the subsidiary should actively utilize external embeddedness to create a new locational competitive advantage in the local region, as well as develop a strategy to reduce foreignness costs such as cost of adapting to the local system.

이 논문은 서울시 광고관련산업의 집적지 형성과정과 생산네트워크의 특성을 밝히고자 한다. 고차생산자서비스로서 광고관련산업의 서비스생산과정에서 관련업체와 생산네트워크가 중요한 기반임을 확인할 수 있었다. 인쇄광고관련업체와 방송광고관련업체의 집적지가 각각 도심의 충무로와 영동의 신사동지역에 형성되어 있었다. 이러한 집적지의 형성은 광고관련산업의 전반적인 유연적 전문화 과정과 연관이 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 관련 전문기능의 집적은 계속 강화되리라 예상된다. 광고회사는 주로 기획과 전략을 담당하고, 실제적인 제작 업무는 전무제작사들이 담당하는 공간적 분업과 생산의 네트워크화를 통해 광고하는 서비스가 생산되고 있었다. 그리고 각 집적지의 이득을 광고회사가 공간적 거리에 상관없이 충분히 활용하고 있었다. 결국 서울이라는 전체 공간이 함께 협력함으로써 서비스가 생산이 되는 모습을 보이고 있다. 이는 각 집적지내에서 관련 기능들이 서로 네트워크를 형성함으로써 네트워크의 이득을 활용하고 있으며, 또한 집적지 외부에 있는 기능이 공간적으로는 떨어져 있으나 다시 각 집적자와 네트워크를 형성함으로써 집적이득을 충분히 이용하는 국지적 집적효과가 아닌 지역적 집적효과를 활용하는 모습을 보이고 있었다.

The intention of this research lies in verifying whether the capabilities have an influence in raising their satisfaction. The results were as follows. Personal inter social skills and personal capabilities had a direct influence on the networking, and also on life satisfaction (networking acting as a mediator). However, problem solving capabilities did not have a substantial influence on the networking (which here, works as a mediating variable). Therefore, according to the above results, various measures which may advance life satisfaction by using the networking as mediator should be reviewed.

The maximum lifetime data aggregation problem is to maximize the network lifetime as minimizing the transmission energy of all deployed nodes in wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we propose a simulated annealing algorithm to solve efficiently the maximum lifetime data aggregation problem on the basis of meta-heuristic approach in wireless sensor networks. In order to make a search more efficient, we propose a novel neighborhood generating method and a repair function of the proposed algorithm. We compare the performance of the proposed algorithm with other existing algorithms through some experiments in terms of the network lifetime and algorithm computation time. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is efficient for the maximum lifetime data aggregation problem in wireless sensor networks.

최근 구제역의 발생으로 인해 농 축산업계 및 관련 산업분야에 막대한 피해를 야기함에 따라, 구제역의 발병에 따른 다양한 사회적 파급효과의 분석이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 온라인 뉴스를 대상으로 텍스트 마이닝 방법들을 사용하여 구제역으로 인한 경제적, 환경적, 그리고 정책적 파급효과를 분석하는 공학적 방법론을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 먼저, 구제역 관련 온라인 뉴스를 수집한 후, 토픽 모델링의 대표적인 방법 중 하나인 LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation)를 활용하여 뉴스 기사로부터 키워드들을 추출한다. 둘째, 추출된 키워드들로부터 구제역으로 인한 파급효과의 분석을 위해 동시출현 키워드 네트워크를 구성한다. 셋째, 키워드 네트워크 타임라인을 통해 각 파급효과들의 변화를 분석한다. 마지막으로, 사례분석을 통해 2010년 7월부터 2011년 12월까지 한국에서 발생한 구제역으로 인한 사회적 파급효과의 분석을 수행하였다.
