냉간압연된 fcc 금속에서 재결정 속도에 관한 연구 (Kinetics of Recrystallization in Cold Rolled)

  • The cold rolling of metal sheets leads to the formation of an inhomogeneous microstructure and texture. The type and sharpness of texture through the thickness and the degree of inhomogeneity depend on the friction between rolls the rolled material and the geometry of the rolling gap. In order to follow the effect of friction, two kinds of stecimens were prepared by applying with and without lubrication during the cold rolling. Although the deformed microstructure of the specimens rolled without lubrication was much inhomogenous than that of the specimens rolled with lubrication, the effect of lubrication on the cold rolling texture was not found. the recrystallization behavior was strongly dependent on the deformation process. Thus, the retardation of the recrystallization was observed in the specimens rolled without lubrication.

  • In this study, a fuzzy theory is introduced to control the cross-sectional strip shape in cold rolling. A fuzzy controller is developed based on the production data and the operational knowledge. The cold rolled products are characterized into several types based on their irregularities. For each type of irregular strip shape, fuzzy controller calculates the changes of bender forces of work and intermediate rolls using fuzzy control algorithm. To simulate the continuous shape control, fuzzy controller is linked with emulator which is developed using neural network. The developed fuzzy controller and emulator simulate the cold rolling process until the irregularities converge to the tolerable range to produce unifrom cross-sectional strip shape. The results from this simulation are reasonable for various irregular strip shapes.

  • Several simulation techniques have been developed which are not practical deformation processes but are designed to embody specific tribological aspects. Sliding rolling type friction test machine (Cold rolling tribosimulator) was developed to simulate the tribological phenomena at the roll bite in real mill by laboratory scale. A rolled material is fed at a low speed of Max. 1/20 to that of roll speed, so as to obtain simultaneous plastic deformation in the material during rotation of the rolls in simulator. New cold rolling tribe-simulator is effective for evaluation of the lubricity of lubricant in cold rolling process.

  • 중수로 압력관용 Zr신합금을 개발하기 위하여 Batch 1(63종), Batch 2(33종), 및 Batch 3(33종)의 지르코늄합금을 설계, 제조하여 이들 합금에 대한 특성평가를 실시하였다. 설계합금은 고진공 전자빔 용해(Electron Beam Remelting), 단조(95$0^{\circ}C$), $\beta$열처리, 중간열처리, 냉간압연 및 진공열처리의 일관된 제조공정을 거쳐서 판상으로 제조되었다. 설계합금의 특성평가로 성분분석, 인장시험, 부식시험, 충격에너지시험 및 미세조직분석이 수행되었으며, Batchl-Batch3의 120여종의 지르코늄합금에 대한 특성을 종합적으로 평가하여 내부식성 및 고강도 특성의 7종 지르코늄합금을 선정하였다.

  • The formation of preferred orientations in the cold rolling texture of the Inconel 690 sheets was studied by the x-ray texture measurements and TEM observations. The increasing {220} pole intensity in the plane normal at the higher reductions was related to the {110}<112> texture component. The rolling texture of the Inconel 690 was the pure metal type which could be described by {112}<111>, {123}<634> and {110}<112> orientations. The dislocation cells were found in the near {110}<112> oriented grains. The onset of deformation twins in the {112}<111> oriented grains caused the weakening of {112}<111> and the development of {552}<115> in the rolling texture.

  • The evolution of texture and microstructure during recrystallization was tracked after different cold rolling of aluminum sheets. Texture of the sheet center were differentiated by different strain states due to prior deformation. The evolution of recrystallization texture was studied with the amount of shear applied during cold rolling. The final grain size after recrystallization annealing was varied due to the effective strain during deformation.

  • 오스테나이트계 고질소 스테인레스강 4 가지 후보강종인 HNS C1, C2, C3, C4에 대해 질소함량, 가압조건 따른 단조재와 온도 및 동일한 가압조건에서 Ni 합금원소 첨가유무에 따른 용체화 처리재(HNS C1, C3)의 물성평가와 실제 냉연 공정의 pass schedule 검증을 위한 모사실험을 통해 다음과 같이 요약 하였다. 1) 가압증가에 따른 질소함량의 증가로 강도 및 경도가 동시 상승하며, 결정립의 미세화 및 기계적 쌍정 발생이 많았다. 동일한 가압조건에서 Ni 첨가된 HNS C3가 Ni 미첨가한 HNS C1 보다 강도-연성 조합평가에서 열/냉간 가공성 등의 특성이 우수하였다. 2) 고질소강 스테인레스강의 적정한 용체화 처리온도 범위는 상용화된 AIS1304와 유사한 $1050^{\circ}C{\sim}1100^{\circ}C$이며, 용체화처리 후냉각방법의 변경(수냉과 공냉)에 따른 경도의 편차는 없었다. 냉연 pass schedule 검증을 위한 모사실험에서 초기 압연의 최적조건은 roll 속도 5mpm, pass당 압연율 $15{\sim}17%$였다.

  • A mathemetical medel has been developed for the purpose of estimating the rolling force required for computer control of cold strip mills. The model consists of equations of rolling force. flow stress. friction coefficient and tension. By applying the model to a 6-High cold tandem mill, the computer simulation is then been possible for all kinds of steels except stainless steel and the effectiveness of the model has been confirmed in the practice.

  • Strip profile and shape control is one of the most important technologies in cold mill, especially for ultra-thin and wide cold strip. The 6-high mills, both of HCMW and UCMW mill, are known to be very effective for the shape controllability. The optimized values of these factors for set-up scheduling were analyzed and found that excellent strip control would be possible by controlling the combination of the influencing factors according to hot coil profile. The important considerations for operation were discussed for individual stand.
