A right to in-service education on the curriculum and tasks of the educational administration (교사의 교육과정 연수에 대한 권리와 교육행정의 임무)

  • This paper investigates status of the in-service education for curriculum, and seek tasks of the curriculum administration. The major contents are the difference between in-service education and in-service education for curriculum, status of the in-service education for curriculum in curriculum development, and tasks of curriculum administration. The in-service education for curriculum is a kind of in-service education. But the in-service education for curriculum classified dissemination stage and application stage. The in-service education for curriculum in curriculum development focus on the understanding of the basic matters in dissemination stage, and on the in-depth contents in application stage. There are seven types of curriculum administration in-service education for curriculum. This is the classification of the dissemination and application stage, the nature of guided and advice administration, the stress on the improvement of professionalism for teachers, the classify of the in-service education target for curriculum, the diversification of the in-service education format, the recognition as duties of in-service education for curriculum training, and the institutionalization for in-service education out of school.

  • 현재 교사를 위한 다양한 인격 연수가 시행되고 있다. 그러나 연수 내용을 살펴보면 교사 연수의 핵심이라고 할 수 있는 교수법 향상에 관련된 내용보다는 교과의 전문지식이나 기능적인 부분에 대해 더 많이 다루고 있는 것이 사실이다. 교사들은 대학에서 뿐만 아니라 교육 현장에서 자기 연수 혹은 연수 기관을 통해 끊임없이 교수법 향상을 위해 노력해야한다 연수 기관에서 그룹별 토의 시스템, 동영상 동기화 교수-학습 지도안 제작 도구, 교수학습 DB 등으로 구성된 인지적 도제 모델형 원격 연수 시스템을 이용한다면 좀 더 나은 교수법 향상을 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

What Makes Korea-Israel Science Teachers Inservice Program for Fostering Learners' Creativity Effective? (창의성 계발 과학교육을 위한 한국 - 이스라엘 과학교사 연수프로그램의 효율성)

  • The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of Korea-Israel science teachers inservice program. Thirty science teachers who participated in the inservice program responded to pre- and post tests of the survey instrument on (a) their perceptions to creativity fostering science education and understandings of current education status and reform movement, (b) degrees of changes about understanding of creativity and implementing teaching methods for fostering creativity before and after the program, and (c) their evaluative opinions on the program. Suggestions for improving the program were proposed as follows: First, a pre-service workshop for the program should be provided in order to clearly realize the essential purpose of the program through increase of participating teachers' understanding of facing conditions of education, school policy, reform movement toward science education fostering creativity. Second, for the content of the program, creativity is more emphasized. Appropriate content and sufficient time arrangement for creativity will develop teachers' conceptual understanding of creativity in depth. Third, classroom observation of exemplary science teaching for fostering creativity should be sufficiently arranged. Fourth, amount of content and time allotment to Israel culture, religion, and education system should be reduced.

An Analysis on Storing Container Corrosion of Powder Extinguisher according to Durable Years of Each Type-3 Powder Extinguisher (제3종 분말소화기 대상별 내용연수에 따른 저장용기의 부식도 분석)

  • This study presented the criteria for analyzing the corrosion of the powder extinguisher storage container according to the useful life, and conducted an experiment on the market area, the factory area, and the apartment building area to ensure proper performance at all times and drew the following conclusions.First, the experimental value for the degree of corrosion of external contact storage containers was found to be unsuitable in the factory area in 2014. In 2012, the experimental value for the degree of corrosion of external contact storage containers in apartment complexes was found to be inappropriate. Second, the experimental value for the dropout of the external paint in the storage container was found to be inappropriate in the factory area in 2014. In 2012, the experimental value of the degree of coating of the external paint storage container in the apartment building area was found to be inappropriate. It was analyzed that the useful life of the fire extinguisher is 10 years, and if it passes the sample test only once, it will be used for up to 13 years, but in fact, the difference varies greatly depending on the surrounding environment of the fire extinguisher place. Since the degree of corrosion of the storage container of the fire extinguisher from 8 years of the fire extinguisher's useful life is clearly decreased, it is judged that 5 years of the fire extinguisher is appropriate.

  • 한국광학기기협회는 한.일 광학기술협력사업의 일환으로 해마다 기술세미나, 기술연수 등 다양한 프로그램을 진행하고 있다. 올해에는 지난 8월 17일부터 22일까지 일본 큐슈대학 공학연구원에서 "첨단 마이크로.나노 광학계"기술연수와 미쓰비시 화학 코로사키 공장 견학 프로그램을 실시했다. 본 고에서는 연수 일정별 내용을 간략하게 정리해 보았다.

An Analysis on the Curricula and Recognitions of the Home Economics Teachers who were the Participants of the First-Grade Home Economics Regular Teacher Qualification Program (중등 가정과 1급 정교사 자격 연수 프로그램 운영 실태 분석 및 연수 참여자의 인식)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic resources to the first-grade Home Economics Regular Teacher Qualification Program (FGHERTQP) in order to improve its operation plans. For the study, the three methods were carried out: an analysis on the curricula of FGHERTQP over six years since 2000, a questionnaire asking their satisfaction degrees and needs on the programs which was answered by the home economics teachers who were the participants of FGHERTQP, and several statistical analyses such as a descriptive-test, a $X^2$-test, a t-test, and one way ANOVA by using SPSS Win ver 10.0. The results of the study were as follows; Firstly, FGHERTQP has been operated ten times by five training centers during resent six years. Subject matters ($1{\sim}7$), whole numbers of lectures ($11{\sim}29$), and their allotted working hours ($111{\sim}136$) vary with individual training centers and operation years. Secondly, when using 5 point likert scales, Contents and Methods of evaluation marked 3.08 which were the lowest scores, and Qualification Training in General marked 3.72 which was the highest score among five fields of Qualification Training in General, Contents, Organizations, Methods and Evaluation. The overall scores were low. Thirdly, in needs analysis on offering subject matters, the participants wanted to study the field of home economics education more than that of subject contents. Looking about the highest needs classified by domains, Food Principles & Meal Management showed the highest in Foods. And Consumer Issues in Clothing & Textiles in Textiles, Upcoming Housing Cultures in Housing, Family Relationship in Child Development & Family Relationship, Juveniles and their daily life as a consumer in Family & Consumer Resources Management. Fourthly, training centers' lectures available had a significant influence on the satisfaction degrees according to general characteristic variations of the participants. That is, as a training center offers more lectures in the field of subject education than those of subject contents, the participants showed higher satisfaction degrees (p<.05).

Survey of the Life Expectancy Management of Fire Products (소방용품 내용연수 관리실태 조사 분석)

  • Currently, the maintenance of fire products at the site of fire-fighting property are presumably carried out by a fireand/or self. On the other hand, of the special fire-fighting property, only 3.4% of them are the target for a comprehensive precision inspection, which is performed by fire protection management firms. Aging fire products for the rest of special fire-fighting property are absolutely beyond any inspection and reliability verification. This is also true with respect to general households. In this report, the current practice of fire products' useful life management at the site of fire-fighting property were studied. For this study, 32 items of fire products were identified. For the sample data, public institutions and 17 cities and provinces were classified into 18 groups, from which 30 sample targets for each group were determined. Of these targets 422 samples were recovered, based on which this study for establishing a useful 'Management Control System of the Fire Products and its Useful Life' was conducted.

  • The purpose of this study is to research the regulation of durability standard of underground structures monitoring sensors. The durability criteria for construction monitoring sensors of domestic construction companies, the standard years of contents such as buildings on the income tax implementation regulations, and the standards of the Public Procurement Service for construction monitoring and construction machinery were analyzed. The durability criterion on products such as the inclination meter and the strain gauge, which are purchased from the Public Procurement Service prior to installation on the underground structure, is 8 to 10 years. It is considered that the monitoring sensor installed in the paperboard and the concrete structure at the time of construction will have considerably shortened service life rather than the useful life of the product itself due to various adverse factors such as groundwater influence and compaction.

  • Service life of water pipes buried in the underground is considerably affected from various factors such as environmental characteristics, pipe characteristics, operation and maintenance, etc. Therefore it is difficult to determine their service life as uniformly the same value assigned by related laws and ordinances. As a result, the service life should be determined by the technical judgement based on the assessment for the condition of water pipes. In this study, It was established that the methodology could predict present and future failure risk, and plan short and long-term strategies for replacement/rehabilitation through the assessment for the physical deterioration and economical values of buried water pipe. The methodology was applied for the verification and reliability to several sites selected in multi-regional transmission pipelines. The proposed method could helps to support reasonable and economical decision of rehabilitation/replacement in the present and future. To improve conventional assessment method of aged water pipes, affecting factors are simplified based on the statistical analysis results from the measured data in the field and the physical deterioration mechanism for better reliability. Also, the guide-line is developed to carry out the reasonal rehabilitation planning through water pipe condition assessment.

Development of Teacher Training Programs for Game Addiction Treatment (게임 중독 치료를 위한 교사 연수 프로그램 개발)

  • This study aimed to develop the teacher training programs to prevent and treat of game addiction. First, we analyzed the existing training programs concerning game addiction and searched for various strategies applicable to game addiction prevention and treatment education programs. On this ground, training programs were divided into three courses that were the prevention program for normal students, the treatment program I for students in the potential-risk group, and the treatment program II for those in the high-risk group. For the prevention program, commonalities were drawn and developed from the existing studies and training programs; and for treatment programs, game addiction clinic centers were analyzed to draw various useful strategies and contents. We also developed the details of those programs in consultation with experts. As a result of content validity about the developed teacher training program to prevent and treat of game addiction, this program was generally appropriate and acceptable. We expect that the developed programs help to treat a student who has game addiction effectively.
