A Study on Remotely Located Synchronization System using GPS Common-View Method (GPS Common-View 방식에 의한 원격지 동기 시스템 연구)

  • A remotely located synchronization system which is locked to the remote master clock has been implemented by using GPS Common-View technique. The measurement results showed that the accuracy of the remote synchronization system could be kept within a few parts in $10^{-12}$ and MTIE(Maximum Time Interval Error) met the ITU-T Recommendation(G.811). A prototype system having fully automatic operational functions has been realized up to now and is expected to be used in the network synchronization in the near future.

  • 현재 변전소 자동화의 국제표준으로 대두되고 있는 IEC 61850은 스테이션 버스뿐만 아니라 프로세서 버스까지도 표준화된 통신 기술을 채용하였고, 자동화에 필요한 모델을 제시하고 있다. 오늘날 변전소 내의 많은 전력기기들이 시간 동기화를 필요로 하고 있으며, 프로세서 레벨에서 동작하는 기기들의 IEC61850 통신 서비스를 수행하기 위해서는 반드시 동기화 되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 IEC 61850 프로세서 레벨에서 정밀한 시간동기화를 구현하기에 적합한 IRIG-B 시간 동기화 프로토콜을 고찰하였다.

Watermarking-based cryptographic synchronization signal transmission and detection (워터마킹 기반의 암호동기신호 전송 및 검출)

  • In synchronous secure communications, a synchronization signal is transmitted over the same channel where ciphertext is transmitted for cryptographic synchronization between an encryptor and a decryptor, so, it causes data rate lowering and transmission delay for plain communication. Especially, in poor environments such as wireless channels and so on, since secure communications require a periodic resynchronization protocol, synchronization signal transmission method can dominate its quality. In this paper, we proposed a new synchronization signal transmission method without additional bandwidth as well as resynchronization protocol based on it. We embeded a synchronization signal as a watermark in a transmission image and restored it from a detected watermark in the decryptor. Experimental results of image have demonstrated that the proposed synchronization signal transmission method using watermarking is efficient in transmission rate and can support reliable synchronization detection.

  • 소노루미네센스(SL)현상은 액체 내에서 초음파에 동기화되어 진동하는 미소기포$~10\mu\textrm{m}$)가 수축할 때 기포내부의 온도가 고온이 됨에 따라 기포중심으로부터 빛이 나오는 현상을 말한다. 단일기 포가 초음파에 가진 될 경우 그 스펙트럼이 X선에 가까운 것임이 밝혀질뿐더러 촉매물 질의 개발이나 활성화, 고분자 합성뿐만 아니라 용액 내에서의 불순물 제거 등에 대한 응용의 가능성이 속속 발견되자, 현재 과학계뿐만 아니라 일반 매스컴에서도 화제의 대상이 되고 있다. SL현상은 원자당 $10^{11}eV$ 에 해당되는 초음파 에너지의 파장이 0.19.mu. 이하인 X선, 즉 6eV 이상의 광자에너지로 증폭됨에 따라 기포수축시 기포내 가스의 온도가 수만 도에 이르는 것, 레이저에 상응하는 광펄스 폭(50 ps)과 초음파에 동기되어 현존하는 최상의 수정시계에 필적하는 SL펄스의 규칙성, 기포수축시의 $10^{10}W/m^{2}$에 해당되는 열의 방출과 10억분의 수 초 동안에 $10^{4}K$의 고온상태에서 200K 정도의 저온상태로 바뀜에 따른 급격한 냉각속도 등 으로 특징지어질 수 있다. 이 글에서는 현재 실험을 통하여 알려진 SL에 관한 현상의 특징과 응용에 대해 구체적으로 기술하였다.

  • Since the speed of operation in the system has been increasing rapidly, chips should have been synchronized. Then, synchronized circuits such as PLL (Phase Locked Loop), DLL (Delay Locked Loop) are used. VCO (Voltage Controled Oscillator) generated a frequency in the PLL has disadvantage such as jitter accumulation. On the other hands, VCDL (Voltage Controled Delay Line) used at DLL has an advantage which has no jitter accumulation. In this paper, a new and improved VCDL structure is suggested.

  • Effective synchronization specification model which can specify temrxlral relationship among media resolving asynchronous problem due to variable network delay is necessary in a distributed multimedia system. Therefore in this paper, we propose RTPN(Real- Time Petri Net) synchronization specification model based on Petri Net for multimedia application in a distributed real time environment. The proposed RTPN model supplies a tlexible decsription of the temporal relationship among various media objects by defining primary key media and relative key media according to delay and importance among media. Firing rule is instantly executed by firing function based on QoS values which supports intra-media and inter-media syncbronization. And asynchronous control algorithm for resynchronization of presentation level is possible more effective supporting of QoS.

  • This study looked at the influence of MMORPG's motivation on interpersonal competence through MMORPG's social usage. For this, 496 surveys were retrieved. As a result, the social usage of MMORPG was completely mediated in the relationship between motivation and interpersonal competence. The social usage of MMORPG has a positive full mediation effect on the relationship between the social relationships motivation and the interpersonal competence. And Immersion/Escapism motivation, the social usage of MMORPG has reduced the negative effect on the interpersonal competence.

GNSS 시뮬레이터를 이용한 이동체 운동궤적의 시각동기화 기술 연구

  • 항법분야에 있어서 위성항법시스템의 다양한 오차를 제거한 정밀한 위치 정보를 이용하여 이동체에 활용하는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 실제 환경에서 이동체를 이용한 항법실험을 수행하기 전 실제 환경과 유사한 가상의 실시간 테스트베드를 구축하여 알고리즘 테스트 및 검증 실험을 수행하려 한다. 이를 위해 이동체의 운동을 시뮬레이션하는 운동궤적제어시스템과 실제의 항법신호를 시뮬레이션하는 GNSS 시뮬레이터 사이의 시각동기화는 실시간 시뮬레이션을 구현하기 위해 필수적으로 요구된다. 동기화 되지 않은 시각정보는 이동체 운동궤적제어시스템에 의해 생성된 실제의 궤적과 GNSS 시물레이터로부터 생성된 궤적사이의 오차를 유발하여 항법수신기의 부정확한 항법신호를 유발한다. 이 연구는 GNSS 시뮬레이터를 이용한 실시간 테스트베드의 구축에 있어 필요한 이동체 운동궤적의 시각동기화 기술 개발을 목표로 한다. GNSS 시뮬레이터는 Spirent 사의 GPS 시뮬레이터가 사용되었다. 이동체의 위치, 속도, 가속도와 같은 움직임을 나타내는 운동에 관한 명령은 적용되어야 하는 정확한 시각이 함께 전송되므로, 이는 그 시각 이전에 GPS 시뮬레이터에 도달해야 한다. 따라서 1초(1 Hz) 또는 0.1초(10 Hz) 사이에 원격제어시스템과 GPS 시뮬레이터사이의 시각 동기화를 구현하였다. 시뮬레이터와의 시각정보 동기화를 위해 Amplicon사의 PCI-215 타이머카드를 이용하였고, 그 결과, 이동체 운동궤적제어시스템과 시뮬레이터의 시각정보를 $10^{-3}$ 내의 위치오차를 가지는 정밀도로 동기화됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Grounded in the prior literatures on acceptance and diffusion of IT and innovation in the level of organization research, 3 major constructional factors such as Motivation, IT resistance, and IT change management were investigated to suggest propositions from 15 multi-cases of PLM from 6 different companies in Automotive OEMs and suppliers, and we posited that the diffusion is continued only when motivation is stronger enough to overcome IT resistance as a fundamental finding and basis of this research on PLM acceptance and diffusion. The Motivation was found to be initiated and categorized from three different factors such as environmental factors, organizational factors, and technological factors, providing key propositions for further research: (1)The Automotive suppliers, contrary to OEM, are affected more by the demand of inter-connectivity as an environmental factor, while the other factors are similarly influencing to them, (2)The big organizations are influenced more by the champion, while the small organizations get influenced more by leader. (3)When the trend, inter-connectivity and complexity get stronger, the motivation gets more strongly influenced by the perceived benefit in the technological context. Regarding Change management we suggests IT change management is supportive to overcome IT resistance and also to enforce Motivation, and the critical mass exists differently according to the market maturity adopted, and more market matured technology has lower critical mass, implies less requirement of IT change management than less market matured technology.

A Study on Effective Lecture Presentation System in Distributed Multimedia Environments (분산 멀티미디어 환경에서 효율적인 교재 제시 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • Synchronizations of intra${\cdot}$intermedia for the lecture presentation in distributed multimedia environments are difficult to guarantee accurate temporal relationship between media, due to the asynchronous errors such as the delay or loss of transferred data or the transmission characteristics of each media. The jitter phenomenon occurs when the network delay has the media arrival rate abnormal because the intra-media synchronization reflects the presentation rate. And the cumulative effective of jitters on a per media stream basis results in a skew. This phenomenon cause confusion to contents recognition of learners due to network delay and can not provide effective interaction of sender and receiver in the distance education. Therefore, this paper can be solution to problems due to network delay by maintaining the requirements of temporal relationship between more than one media. And this paper enables to suggest the inter-media synchronization method that is subject to be influenced by presentation rate, and to implement lecture presentation system for distance education.
