과거의 내가, 현재의 내가 마주하는 곳, 그건 아마도 가수 최백호가 부르는 노래 세계일 것이다. 하지만 그의 노래는 한곳에 머무르고 있지만은 않다. 세월이 흘러도 변함없이 많은 사람이 그의 노래를 찾아 듣는 이유 또한, 바로 그의 노래가 깊은 페이소스를 전제로 하면서도 희망으로 와 닿기 때문이다. 그의 인생도 마찬가지. 최근 그는 젊은 뮤지션들과의 협연으로 다양한 음악적 시도 및 활동을 펼쳐오고 있는 가운데 그림과 영화 작품 활동 또한 꾸준히 해오고 있다. 3년 전부터는 한국음악발전소 소장도 맡아 음악 활동이 어려운 인디밴드들의 공연을 주선해 주는 등의 활동도 해오고 있다. 한마디로 종합 아티스트 맨이라는 호칭을 좀 더 어울리는 가수 최백호다. 가수라는 본업에서 이처럼 여러 갈래의 행보를 보이는 그가 앞으로 보여줄 인생은 과연 어떤 모습일지, 그를 다시 만난 길위에서 함께 스케치해보자.

스트리밍.음악을 물처럼 흘려보내는 기술이다.서버에 단 한번만 복제를 해 심어 놓으면 이를 원하는 사람들에게 무한정 공급할 수 있다. 듣고 싶은 노래가 굳이 내 컴퓨터 안에, 혹은 내 MP3 플레이어나 MD 안에 없어도 음악을 들을 수 있는 기술이다. 원하는 노래를 갖고 있지 않아도 인터넷에 접속만 할 수 있으면 내 것처럼 들을 수 있으니 가히 음악 소비의 혁명이라 하지 않을 수 없다.인터넷에 존재하는 수많은 커뮤니티들은 자신이 좋아하는 곡을 임베드 태그를 활용해 다른 회원들도 즐길 수 있도록 하고 있다. 반드시 CD나 테잎을 소유해야만 즐길수 있었던 음악 소비 형태가 스트리밍 서비스 덕분으로 음악 감상의 형식이 크게 바뀌고 있다.

본 연구는 보컬을 위한 영어 딕션법을 이중모음 [aɪ], [eɪ]. [ɔɪ], [aʊ], [oʊ]를 중심으로 연구했다. 먼저 영어음성학을 기초로 소리 내는 법을 정리하고 그다음으로 노래할 때 필요한 딕션법을 정리했는데, 이 항목에서는 이중모음을 노랫말로 표현할 때 조음기관의 위치를 어떻게 설정할 것인지를 중점적으로 다뤘다. 각 항목의 예시로 영어노래 악보들을 첨부했으며 악보에 표기된 가사들은 원어, 국제음성기호(IPA), 한글표기 세 가지로 분석하여 노래할 때 참고할 수 있도록 만들었다.

And this study intends to discuss especially the one using emotional filter among various information processing methods. The existing music recommendation service on the web has a weak point that it makes the user feel bored by recommending songs only with similar feeling of the same genre, because music is classified by tune, melody, atmosphere and genre before recommendation. The service using emotion filter, suggested in this study, recommends the song and lyrics appropriate to the current emotional state of the user by abstracting emotional words that could reflect the sensitivity of human and then search the words within lyrics to match in order to overcome the weak point of the existing service. This study starts where the current emotional status for the user is being input. As for the range to choose, there are the seven representatives of emotion which are, love, separation, joy, sorrow-gloom, happiness-lonesome, and anger. As the service receives input of user's emotion, it matches the emotional words appropriate for the emotion input with the lyrics, and ranks the lyrics in the order of priority, so that it recommends the song and it lyrics to the user.

내용기반 질의법 (Content-based Query Method)은 멀티미디어 데이터가 가지고 있는 고유의 특성을 검색의 단서로 하여 질의하는 방법이다. 따라서 이러한 내용 기반의 디지털 오디오 콘텐츠 시스템은 유저가 데이터베이스 내에서 찾고자 하는 오디오 관련 정보의 질의 방법으로써 그 노래의 멜로디 정보를 입력함으로써 이루어지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 가수명이나 노래 제목, 혹은 가사의 일부 등 기존의 음악 검색에 필수적인 텍스트 정보인 키워드를 전혀 모르는 상태에서, 휴대폰이나 컴퓨터의 마이크를 통해 자신이 기억하고 있는 노래의 일부분을 흥얼거리는 것만으로, 각종 오디오 정보를 손쉽게 찾아주는 내용기반 질의법을 이용한 디지털오디오 검색시스템 (MuseFinder)을 소개한다. 또한 실제 유저의 편이성을 고려한 GUI에 기초한 고성능의 검색시스템을 구현하는데 있어 주요 이슈와 고려사항에 대해서 살펴보고 그 해결 방법을 제안한다.

음악을 함에 있어서 정확하고 매력적인 발성을 하는 것도 중요하지만 더욱 기본적이고 중요한 것이 정확한 발음을 내는 것이다. 정확한 발음이 해결되지 않은 상태에서는 아무리 발성법을 꿰뚫고 있다하더라도 많은 사람들에게 자신이 전달하고자 하는 메시지를 제대로 전달하지 못하게 된다. 보통 노래를 잘 부르기 위해서 노래방 같은 곳을 찾아가 노래 연습을 하는 사람들이 많이 있는데, 무엇보다 기본적인 발음이 명확하지 않으면 노래를 잘 부른다고 볼 수는 없는 것이다. 랩을 주로 하는 신세대 가수들의 음악을 들어 보면 자막을 보지 않고서는 무슨 말인지 알아들을 수가 없다. 그들이 노래할 때 입 크기의 변화 없이 입술모양만 변화시키면서 발성하기 때문이다. 음성은 기본적으로 여기성분과 성도성분으로 구분할 수 있다. 성도는 인두강과 구강을 합쳐서 일컫는다. 따라서 입 모양을 어떻게 하느냐에 따라서 같은 말이라도 명료성이 달라지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이 소리지속시간을 비교 평가하기 위해서 기존가수와 신세대 가수의 한 음절에 대한 지속시간을 비교하여 보았고 8Khz까지의 스펙트로그램을 비교하였다. 비교결과 기존 가수가 신세대 가수에 비하여 말의 의사 전달에 있어서 명료하게 전달 할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

There exist some regular multiple relations in the intervals of notes when they are combined within one measure. This paper presents a method to find the exact measure positions in monophonic song based on those relations. In the proposed method the individual intervals are segmented at first and the rules that state the multiple relations are used to find the measure position. The measures can be applied as the foundational information for extracting beat and tempo of a song which can be used as background knowledge of automatic music transcription system. The proposed method exactly detected the measure positions of 11 songs out of 12 songs except one song which consist of monophonic voice song of the men and women. Also one can extract the information of beat and tempo of a song using the information about extracted measure positions with music theory.

This paper investigates how narrative folk songs have been transmitted and enjoyed through literature data and field research, and discusses their educational significance. Narrative folk songs have changed from songs that were enjoyed by common women to songs enjoyed by upper class men according to the times. They have ranged from tragic songs lamenting hardships to comic songs that relieve oppression, depending on the performance situation. Moreover, narrative folk songs have been enjoyed through media transmission beyond traditional custom. Narrative folk songs have not been enjoyed in one fixed way, but rather in various ways depending on the situation, so they have functioned to enable common women, who are their main singers, to share emotions, communicate, and maintain their community. Therefore, in literature education, narrative folk songs can be used as very appropriate materials for learners to reflect on themselves, communicate with others and contribute to desirable community life. By experiencing the various ways of enjoying narrative folk songs, learners will be able to grow into subjects who actively solve their own problems and those of their communities.

From March 1998 to April 2000, 4 species of marine fishes including black rockfish (Sebastes schlegeli), goby (Acanthogobius flavimannus), fine-spooted flounder (Pleuronichthys cornutus), and croaker (Nibea albiflora) were captured from the coastal area of the Gogunsan island located in the mouth of the Kum River, and greenling (Hexagrammos otakii) was sampled from the coastal areas of the Gogunsan island and the Wan-do. Trematodes from the stomach and the intestine of the fishes were detected and identified on the basis of the morphological characteristics. Four species of trematodes were detected in the stomach and the intestine of the examined fishes ; Opecoelus lobatus Ozaki, 1925 from black rockfish, fine-spotted flounder and greenling, Coitoecum glandulosum Yamaguti, 1934 from goby, Phyllodistomum sp. Braun, 1899 from croaker, and Pharyngora sp. Lebour, 1908 from greenling captured from Wan-do. This report gave morphological descriptions of O. lobatus, Pharyngora sp. and Phyllodistomum sp. from coastal marine fishes in Korea.
