본고는 저소득층 재미유학생을 중심으로 한국가구와 중국가구의 가계재정복지 및 관리행동의 인식을 비교.검토하였다. 표본의 크기는 한국 10가구와 중국11가구였다. 재정후생 조사결과에 의하면 한국 가구는 중국 가구에 비해 자산취득 등 소비에 있어서는 더 높은 평균소득을 가졌음에도 불구하고 소득수준에 더 많은 불만을 나타내고 잇었다. 재정관리행동 조사는 중국가구가 더 즉흥적인 혹은 예산밖의 소비를 하고 있는 것을 보여주고 있다. 또한 한국 가구는 재정관리 및 소비지출을 부부중심으로 행하는 반면, 중국 가구는 남편중심으로 행하고 있었으며 중국가구가 재정관리 및 소비에 대하여 더 높은 불화를 나타내고 있었다. 더불어 한국가구는 주로 부인들이 구매하는 적은 금액의 지출에, 중국 가구는 남편들이 구매하는 큰 금액의 지출에 상대적으로 더 많은 불화를 나타내었다. 한편 한국 가구의 구매불화조정은 남편에 의해, 중국 가구의 불화조정은 부인에 의해 주로 이루어 지고 있었다.

본연구는 부부의 경제생활 만족도를 파악하기 위하여 가정의 사회인구학적 변인과 가정의 경제환경에 대한 지각정된 주관적 경제수준 평가 및 부부가 참여하는 가계관리 행동 변인들이 부부의 가정의 경제생활 만족도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하여 비교 분석 하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 조사대상자는 서울시 거주의 1자녀 이상을 둔 부부로서 500쌍의 설문지 중 367쌍이 본 연구자료로 사용되었다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과같다. 남편의 경 제생활 만족도에 여향을 미치는 변인은 소득 적정감 자원 지각도, 상대적 비교감, 자원기여 평가도 경제소준 향상감, 가계관리 참여도, 월평균 가계속득이었으며 부인의 경우에는 소득 적정감 상대적 비교감 자원기여 평가도 자가주택 소유여부 남편의 직업으로 나타났다 남편 과 부인 모두의 경제생활 만족도에 대한 예측력이 가장 큰 변인은 소득 적정감으로 나타났 다 부부의 경제생활 만족도는 주관적 경제수준 평가의 영향력이 사회인구학적 변인의 영향 력보다 상대적으로 큰 것으로 나타났다.

Given the interdependence of a marital couple, this study examined the effects of both cultural challenge and economic hardship on intention to divorce among the multicultural couple using the actor-partner interdependence model(APIM), and explored dyadic patterns of actor and partner effects. 415 couples(n=830) participated in this self-administered questionnaire study. Results of path analyses based on APIMs revealed that for Korean husbands perceived cultural challenge contributed positively to divorce intention of the couple showing both actor and partner effects, whereas for immigrant wives such perception showed only an actor effect. In contrast, perceived economic hardship among the husbands had little effect on divorce intention of both husbands and wives, whereas such perception by wives had both actor and partner effects on divorce intention. Results of dyadic pattern analyses performed by Bootstrap indicated the actor-only pattern and the couple pattern of perceived cultural challenge on divorce intention of husbands and wives respectively. In case of perceived economic hardship comparison of the effect size suggested the partner-only pattern and the actor-only pattern for divorce intention of husbands and wives respectively. These findings implied that in order to promote conjugal harmony and to prevent the multicultural family from being dissolved, Korean husbands need to develop greater cultural competence so as to tolerate cultural differences between the couple, whereas immigrant wives and their families need to develop greater economic competence so as to foster a hope for economic reliance.

The current study investigated how elderly husbands and wives' marital satisfaction and depression change over time and examined how changes in marital satisfaction account for changes in depression between and within the dyads. The longitudinal dyadic data from the first wave(2006) to the fifth wave(2014) of the Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging(KLoSA), collected by the Korea Employment Information Service, were used for the analyses. Because husbands and wives are interdependent within couples, we applied statistical models for dyadic data. The dyadic growth model(DGM) was used to model the trajectories of marital satisfaction and depressive symptoms. In order to analyze the association of these growth factors, we proposed the dyadic growth actor-partner interdependence model(DG-APIM) and applied the model to the data. The results showed that on average the husbands' marital satisfaction was higher but decreased faster over the course of the study than the wives'. It also showed that the average depression of the husbands was lower than that of the wives but the husbands' depression increased faster than the wives' over the course of the study. The variance of the averages of husbands' (wives's) depression was accounted for by that of wives'(husbands') marital satisfaction, showing a partner effect. The variance of the slopes of husbands'(wives') depression was accounted for by that of marital satisfaction of themselves, showing an actor effect. The results showed that there is a longitudinal interdependence between husbands and wives' marital satisfaction and depression and supported the marital discord model of depression.

This study examines the experiences of 17 ex-offenders' wives who received housing support by the Korea Rehabilitation Agency using Strauss and Corbin's grounded theory. In open coding, 143 concepts, 43 subcategories, and 16 categories emerged from the data. In axial coding, the causal condition were 'ambivalence of wives who encounter the husbands' release from prison', 'anxiety about the husbands' release from prison and recidivism', and 'trials and tribulations of everyday life after husbands' release from prison'. Central phenomenon was 'precarious livelihood by concealment of imprisonment'. Strategies were 'compromise with reality' and 'support husbands to reentry to the society'. Consequence was 'thanks to life via adversity' and 'the road less traveled.' In process analysis, main theme was 'process towards family resiliency after get over the stigma and family conflicts', and five phases were derived from the data and in selective coding. Based upon the research outcomes, psychological experiences of ex-offenders' wives and the needs for ex-offenders' families resiliency was discussed.

'Humamnism thru Digital' 디지털 세상이 목표로 하는 이상향의 모습이다. 그런데, 누구에게나 그런 건 아닌가보다. 얼마전 가벼운 웃음을 짓게 하며 인구에 회자된 하나의 TV광고를 떠올려보자. 광고는 저녁 무렵 퇴근 길에 남편이 시장에 들러 생선가게 앞에서 생선을 고르는 장면으로 시작한다. 이것 저것 고르다가 아내에게 핸드폰으로 전화해 생선을 보여주고 선택하게 한다. 옆에서 이를 지켜보던 생선가게 주인할머니가 의아스런 눈빛으로 손님을 바라보자, 손님이 설명해준다. '디지털 세상이잖아요' 그에 할머니, 갸우뚱하며 한마디 던지는데, "돼지털?" 이란다. 제대로 알아듣지 못한 것이다. 젊은 남편에게는 '디지털' 인 것이 할머니에겐 '돼지털'일 뿐이다. 모든 이에게 디지털은 아닌 것이다.

남편의 유학이 계기가 되어 남편과 같은 대학인 미국의 북일리노이대학교에서 생화학 전공으로 박사학위를 받은 울산대 의과대학 나도선 부교수. 유전자 재조합으로 탄생한 단백지 인터루킨-2를 연구하고 있는 나교수는 "여성연구원들이 보다 안정된 사회여건에서 적극적으로 연구활동을 할 수 있도록 도움을 주는 일에 앞장서겠다"고 다짐하고 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 학령기 자녀를 둔 도시 주부의 가정생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인을 모색하는데 그 목적을 두고 대구시에 거주하는 30대와 40대의 주부를 대상으로 연구한 것이다. 가족환경변인과 부부상호작용변인으로는 의사결정 공동참여를 매개변인으로 하여 가정생활만족에 영향을 미치는 변인을 모색한 결과 주부의 건강상태, 월평균 소득, 남편직업만족 변인은 가정생활만족에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 부인학력과 남편학력은 의사결정 공동참여를 경유하여 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

경기도 오리 행사에 빠짐없이 참석하는 사람이 있다. 조용한 말투에 고생 한번 안 한 것처럼 보이는 고운 얼굴에, 모르는 사람들은 오리를 키우는 남편 대신 모임에 나왔나 하고 생각하지만 자기 손으로 직접 일군 오리농장을 두 개나 가지고 있는 안성연 대화오리농장 대표는 안성 오리업계의 터줏대감이다. 남편을 잃고 아이 넷을 키우며 오리농장을 일궈온 힘은 이웃과 경기도 오리농가들의 도움이었다고 말하는 안 대표는 한국오리협회 안성시지부 사무국장을 맡고 있고, 지난해까지는 14년 동안 안성시 일죽면 대화동 부녀회장으로 일해 온 숨은 일꾼이다. 때로는 눈물을 삼키고 때로는 울분을 삼키며 일궈온 오리농장은 이제 막내 아들과 함께하는 즐거운 일터로 자리잡고 있다. 오리산업이 잘되는 것 말고는 소원이 없다는 안성연 대표를 만나보자.
