A Study on the Hydraulic Fall Prevention Device (유압식 추락 방지장치에 관한 연구)

  • Since a tower crane is too high for a worker to ascend and by the wind in the high altitude, the possibility of a safety accident is very high, a lift assist is used. In this study, the hydraulic fall prevention device using the pressure generation device by Seok, et al. was developed. For this, the effects on the fall prevention performances of factors such as gear clearance, oil viscosity, rotative velocity and so on were evaluated by the analysis of fluid flow using FEM and the prototype was producted and a function test was performed.

  • When trains run over a snow-covered track at high speed, the snow accereted under car bodies may drop during train running. The dropped snow lumps scatter the ballast on the track damaging the car body and the environment along the track in snowy regions. In this study, various countermeasures to prevent the ballast from scattering has been investigated and compared. Furthermore, the implementation of the ballast-flying prevention methods to passing-by station has been examined through which the KTX train passes about 300km/h speed.

수송용기 충격완충체 용접강도의 충돌거동 영향 평가

  • 사용 후 핵연료 수송용기의 충돌사고에 대한 안전성은 층격완충체의 층격흡수특성에 지배되며, 충격완충체의 충격홉수특성은 외부의 케이스와 내부 격막판 둥의 철제 구조물과 내부에 삽입된 충격흡수재의 변형특성에 지배를 받는다. 충격흡수재를 감싸주는 철제 케이스와 내부 격막판의 용접 접합부는 일부 부분이 제작공정상 부득이 부분용접의 접합형태를 갖기 때문에 판재나 완전 접된 부분에 비해 강도가 약해 충돌사고시 취약부위가 파단된다. 이러한 케이스 용접부의 파단은 충격완충체의 변형특성을 변화시켜 충격흡수거동이 달라지는 원인이 된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 용접 접합부의 강도특성을 수송용기의 자유낙하 충돌해석에 적용할 수 있는 해석모델을 구성하고 부분용접된 접합부의 파단강도가 수송용기의 충돌거동에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

  • 본 연구는 가공 활선 송전선로의 이상 진단을 위한 시스템 개발에 관한 것으로 송전 철탑 경간내에 설치되어 있는 송전선을 주행하며 전선의 내부 또는 외부의 열화를 확인하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구에 의한 시스템은 지상으로부터 30m 이상의 높이에서 설치되어 운행되기 때문에 바람에 의해 낙하되지 않도록 구성하였다. 또한 복도체 또는 4도체 선로를 주행하도록 설계하였으며 345kV 고압에서도 전계 및 자계의 영향을 받지 않도록 설계하였다. 전선의 이상 검지를 위해서 카메라를 설치하여 얻어진 데이터를 영상 처리 하여 이상 부위에 대한 에너지 변화를 관찰하여 이상 유무를 판단하도록 하였다. 완성된 시스템은 설치 및 이동을 위해서 경량화 시켰으며 분해 조립이 쉽도록 구성하였다. 본 시스템의 현장 적용에 의한 실험 결과 1m/sec의 이동 속도에서 1mm 이하의 스크래치에 대하여 검출이 가능하였다.

A Study on the free drop impact analysis of the impact limiter for radioactive material transportation cask (방사성물질 운반용기 완충체의 자유낙하 충격 거동에 관한 연구)

  • As the nuclear power plant has been operated continuously and increased gradually, transportation and storage of spent fuel are seriously considered nowadays. The transportation cask which contains radioactive material needs to be inspected about structural safety. About safety verification, description of IAEA Safety Standards states that cask must withstand hypothetical accident conditions. In this paper, 9m free drop impact analysis was performed for transportation cask and impact limiter by using the finite element methods. Furthermore, we obtained the dynamic behavior of wood to as compared with safety test results, and verified the safety of transportation cask.

  • In a various regulations and standards related to the spent fuel storage, the storage casks should be designed to sustain the structural integrity under the accident conditions of predicted operation and design criteria. These conditions for the structural evaluation requires the drop, tip-over, wind like tornado and typhoon, flood and earthquake. This paper describes the load cases and conceptual evaluation method for the structural evaluation. Preliminary safety analysis of the concrete storage system were peformed.

  • 제철용 고로구조물의 안전성 위협 요인으로는, 고로자중이나 철광석 낙하 둥과 같은 기계하중 외에도 구조물 내부 온도가 최대 $1700^{\circ}C$에 이르는 고온 환경을 들 수 있다. 이러한 고온의 작업 환경은 고로 구성부재들의 크립손상, 열피로 문제 등을 야기시키기 때문에 이들 고열에 의한 영향평가는 고로의 안전성 평가에 있어 필수요소로 거론되고 있다. 일반적으로 고로의 단면을 구성하고 있는 내화재, 냉각판, 철피 등의 냉각시스템을 거치면서 내부의 고온 환경은 고로 외피에 이르는 동안 온도강하가 이루어진다. 급격한 온도강하는 나타나지 않지만 장기간 고로 가동에 있어 상시하중으로 작용하는 이 열원에 의해 고로 각 구부위에는 열응력이 발생하고 이 열응력과 나머지 기계적 하중의 조합에 의해 크립이나 열피로 등과 같이 고로 구조물 안전성 위해요인들이 발생한다고 분석되어 진다. 따라서 본 연구에서는, 고로 안전성 평가를 위한 첫 번째 단계로서 범용유한요소해석 프로그램인 ANSYS를 이용한 열응력 해석을 수행하여 잠재적인 안전성 위해요인으로 알려진 열응력 발생 특성을 분석하고, 고로 건전설계 및 보수 유지 관리지침으로 활용할 수 있는 기반기술을 개발한다.

  • There is a need for explosion experiments for explosion-related research. However, there are many restrictions in performing an actual experiment. Therefore, in this paper, an alternative method of overcoming the constraints of an explosion experiment has been conducted using a passenger behavior analysis program called MADYMO to assess and analyze the human body injury due to explosion load. To increase the reliability of the analysis, a drop test has been conducted with the analysis. We provide a new framework for performing the analysis. In future, we will further develop our research with the goal of reducing the opportunity cost for the study of the human body injury.

Fiber Optic Bragg Grating Sensor for Crack Growth Detection of Structures (구조물의 균열 진전 탐지를 위한 광섬유 브래그 격자 센서)

  • There are to be some cracks on the material degradation part or the stress concentration parts of the main members, which carry on over-loads, of structures. Because these cracks can be used to evaluate the structural health status, it is important to monitor the crack growth for maintaining the structural safety. In this study, the fiber Bragg grating sensor with a drop ball was developed as a sensor for crack growth detection of an existing crack. The crack growth detection sensor was constructed with three parts: a probe part, a wavelength controling light source and receiver part, and an impact part. The probe part was just formed with a fiber Bragg grating optical fiber The wavelength controling light source part was composed of a current supplying circuit, a DFB laser diode, and a TEC controling circuit for wavelength control. Also, the impact part was just implemented by dropping a steel ball. The performance of this sensor was confirmed by the experiments of the crack detection with an aluminum plate having one existing crack. According to these experiments, the difference of the sensor signal outputs was correlated with the crack length. So, it was confirmed that this sensor could be applied to monitor the crack growth.

The Influence of Fillers (Zeolite, Serpentine and Talc) and their Fineness on Granulation of Sulfate of Potash (광물질(鑛物質)의 종류(種類) 및 입도(粒度)가 황산가리(黃酸加理) 조립(造粒)에 미치는 영향(影響))

  • Granulation formed from mixture of sulfate of potash (SOP) powder and pulverized silica minerals (Zeolite, Serpentine and Talc) was studied to establish granulation rate and physical properties of granules. These mixtures were granulated in a pan granulator with water and granules of SOP were coated with minerals powder. Mixture of SOP and mineral powder by half (w/w) were increased granulation rate compared with pure SOP powder, and talc was superior to them with SOP. Water was needed about 14% to granulate SOP powder alone, but it decreased by 2% with talc and increased by 4% and 2% with zeolite and serpentine, respectively. Granules of mixture of SOP with zeolite were harder than pure SOP granules but with another minerals powder decreased in hardness. Also breaking rate of granules in vinyl parcel falling from 2m height and abrasion rate of granules by agitation were improved by mixing and coating with zeolite but with the other were of inferior.
