Most studies on regional economic impact have utilized employment or employment income data. Recently, a few scholars have noticed the importance of nonemployment income sources in urban economies. Using decennial census data on Arizona towns from 1970 to 1990, this paper first examines the increasing importance of nonempolyment income sources in urban economies and the associations of nonemployment income sources with elderly population and metropolitan location. Then, this paper investigates the impact of nonemployment income on urban growth in the framework of economic base model. The regression results show that the impact of nonemployment income is significant in the increase of nonbasic income and becomes greater over time, and that the impact of transfer over time, and that the impact of transfer income on nonbasic income of transfer income on nonbasic income is stronger in smaller towns and the impact of investment income is stronger in larger towns.

영산강 수계의 담양댐, 광주댐, 장성댐 및 나주댐 등 댐 군의 연계운영에 의한 홍수조절 효과를 검토하였다. 각 댐의 운영방안으로는 Rigid ROM을 적용하였으며, 댐 방류수의 홍수추적을 위하여 부정류 계산모형을 적용하였다. 200년 빈도 홍수수문곡선을 대상으로 하여 Rigid ROM의 매개변수인 각 댐의 일정 방류율을 변화시켜가며, 각 댐 하류 하천의 합류점 등 주요 지점에서의 유량 수문곡선을 구하여 비교하였다. 전반적으로 각 댐의 방류 능력이 낮아 일정률을 크게 할 경우 Rigid ROM에 따른 방류를 할 수 없는 경우가 발생하였다. 또한 각 댐의 배수유역 면적이 작은 관계로, 일정률의 변화에 따른 최대 방류량의 차이가 각 댐하류 유역 유출량에 비하여 매우 작아 Rigid ROM을 적용할 경우에는 연계운영 효과를 기대하기 어려운 것으로 나타났다.

본 논문에서는 본 동신대학교가 위치하고 있는 전남 나주지역의 지속발전 가능한 태양광발전의 운전 및 특성을 모니터링 시스템을 이용하여 데이터를 수집 및 분석하였다. 발전용량은 30kW 계통 연계형이며 수집 데이터는 일별, 월별, 년별로 분석하여 이 지역의 태양광발전시스템의 적용 타당성과 운전 특성을 분석하였다.

In evaluation of public works, its components related with benefit and cost in feasibility analysis can be classified to quantative and qualitative elements, To evaluate qualitative components which can not be calculated by numerical value, several methods are used to assess relative importance. AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) is representative method which can evaluate importance, but it has difficulties in organization of expert group, execution of question, and subjective decision of questioner. Information measure technique can be used to evaluate these qualitative importance of environmental and social components in public works planning. In result of comparing importances of AHP and information measure technique, it has statistical significance in of road project.

This article interprets the operating characteristics of the photovoltaic system during the winter and spring seasons, and based on the theoretical knowledge, analyzes the operational characteristics and the power electricity during the tentative application and operation of this system. Through the long-term measurement of the sunshine time and collection of the data related to this, we examine the study of graphic presentation and monitoring systems.

계면활성제를 이용하여 홀입자에 흡착된 유기오염물질을 탈착시키는 실험을 실시하였다. 용매로는 중성 세제와 음이온성 세제가 사용되었으며 이를 이용하여 흙으로부터 퀴놀린 및 2-나주들을 분리하였다. 음이온성 세제로 퀴놀린은 약 80%, 2-나푸톨은 90% 가량 탈착되었으며, 중성 세제보다 음이온성 세제가 위의 두 오염물질에 대하여는 덜 효과가 좋은 것으로나타났다. 이온이 제거된 물로 두 오염물질에 대한 탈착실험을 행하여 계면활성제의 탈착능을 물과도 비교하여 보았다.

This study is to diagnose causes of damage and defects on external walls of brick structures, focused on "Naju Noahn" Catholic Church of Modern Architectural Properties. The causes of crack and deflection are overloading, shortage strength of arch. Among those, main cause is cauesd by shortage strength of arch because center of arch is dislocated and skew back of arch is small angle. The causes of damage and elimination are weathering, plants of friction, freezing and thawing, durability decrement of material and attach defection. This defects and damage is caused by high-moisture that occurs in soil. The causes of discoloration are change of soil moisture and flimsy brickwork. These defects and damage are mainly occurred in coping of cornice, weathering of window sill.

Natural dyeing means coloring with dyes extracted from plants, minerals or animals found in nature. Natural dyeing provides calm and natural colors; it has antibacterial and deodorizing qualities; and the dyeing process is environmentally friendly. This study extracted natural dyes from young fruit by thinning out the superfluous fruits of Naju pear trees, and then examined its dyeing properties, the optimal dyeing conditions, and its color fastness for practical use. The results indicated that dyeing is ideal when it had Cu mordant treatment (5% concentration at 9$0^{\circ}C$, pH 4) for 50 min. The color fastness of natural dyes with Cu mordant treatment was very excellent after rubbing and dry cleaning, and also good after exposure to perspiration, light and washing.
