  • 최근의 전력품질은 양적인 요구에서 질적인 요구로 변화하고 순간적인 전압강하나 정전이 사회에 미치는 영향이 크게 되었다. 배전선로 신뢰도 향상을 통한 안정적 전력공급을 위해 조류고장 방지에 대한 대책을 지금까지 다양한 방법으로 시도하였으나 조류고장은 여전히 중가추세에 있다. 조류고장 원인을 분석하면 길조로 인식되고 있고 자연한경보호 의식이 고조되면서 까치수가 급증하고 지역개발에 의해 교목이 감소하면서 전주애 둥지를 짓고 둥지재료도 나무가지 및 철선을 이용하여 둥지재료와 전선과의 접촉으로 전선단선동 고장복구에 장시간을 요하게 된다. 조류피해 방지대책의 종류와 시행상 문제점을 분석하고 까치집을 철거하지 않고 까치와 공존 공생할 수 있는 환경 신화적이고 과학적인 배전설비 구축으로 조류고장의 근원적 해소로 양질의 전력공급에 최선을 다하고자 한다.

  • 韓國産 살모사 亞科의 分類는 종전의 venrals의 數는 中間型이 많이 생기므로 分類特徵이 될수 없어 本人은 새로운 特徵으로 頭部側面에 眼後板에서 목까지에 線狀 무늬의 有無를 分類 特徵으로 定하였다. 全道와 섬에서 採集된 成蛇 337마리와 雪嶽山과 德裕山에서 採集된 임신한 암컷에서 얻은 새끼를 比較하였으며 또한 染色體를 smear法으로 조사해본바, 쇠살모사는 n=16個, 살모사와 까치살모사는 n=15個 였다. 外部形態, 分布, 染色體數를 보아 韓國産 살모사 亞科는 3個의 別個의 集團으로, 즉 Agkistrodon halys, 쇠살모사 Agkistrodon blomnoffii, 살모사 Agkistrodon intermedtas 까치살모사 3種으로 分類하는 것이 타당하다고 사료된다.

  • Electrophresis methods were used to examined the degree of genetic relatedness and divergent times on the 4 genera 4 species of the family Corvidae and 1 species of the Family Cinclidae. Genetic relatedness between two families and between 4 genera of Corvidae showed similar to those reported at comparable taxonomic levels in other bird. But it appears to be considerably less than that of non avian taxa. Genetic relatedness between Garrulus glandarius brandtii and Corvus corone orientalis was the most close related(S=0.81), whereas Pica pica sericea(S=0.72) and Cyanopica cyanus koreensis(S=0.68) were showed less close relatedness respectively. The presumed divergent time between two families was 3.9 million years before present. Whereas among the 4 species of corvidae, the presumes divergent times of Cyanopica cyanus koreensis and Pica pica sericea were about 1.9 and 1.6 million years before present respectively, and between Garrulus glandarius brandtii and Corvus corone orientalis was showed recently about 1.0 million years before present

Preventive Action of Ribes diacanthum Pall. against High Blood Glucose Level in Alloxan-induced Diabetic Mice (가시까치밥나무(Ribes diacanthum Pall.) 추출물의 Alloxan 투여 마우스에서 혈당 상승 억제 효과)

  • The preventive actions of methanol extracts from Ribes diacanthum Pall. (RDP) against high blood glucose levels in alloxan-induced diabetic mice were investigated. ICR mice (male, 8 wks) were divided into four experimental groups: a normal group (N), an alloxan-induced group (control), a RDP 1 mg/kg b.w./day + alloxan group (RDP-1) and a RDP 3 mg/kg b.w./day + alloxan group (RDP-2). Mice were fed RDP extracts for 14 days and then a diabetic condition induced by injecting alloxan (50 mg/kg b.w. i.v.). The total phenolic contents of RDP were 0.508 mg/g. Plasma glucose levels were significantly lower in RDP groups (RDP+alloxan) than the control (alloxan-induced diabetic group). In an oral glucose tolerance test, the glucose levels of RDP extract groups were significantly decreased compared to the control group. The levels of total cholesterol, triglycerides, AST, ALT, uric acid, and blood urea nitrogen in serum were lower in the RDP groups than the control group, whereas levels of HDL-cholesterol showed no difference between treatment groups. We conclude that RDP extracts positively influence blood glucose levels in diabetic mice.

Studies on Utilization and Lipid Composition of Nonedible-Tissues from Fugu xanthopterus (복어의 비가식부의 이용과 지질 조성에 관한 연구)

  • Total lipid were extracted from the eggs, livers, intestines, muscles, and testis of Fugu xanthopterus. The fatty acid composition of total lipid was analyzed by gas liquid chromatography. Proximate percentage of total lipid from the samples was shown to be ; 81.72% in the livers, 14.53% in the intestines, 12.63% in the eggs, 0.85% in the muscles, and 1.74% in the testis. Toxins(tetrodotoxins) were completely removed from the liver of Fugu xanthopterus with 1% acetic acid/methanol solution before total lipid was extracted with CHCI3:methanol solution(2:1, v/v). The toxicity left in the total lipid was checked using mice. The content of DHA in each tissues of Fugu xanthopterus was the most abundant in muscle(32.4%), followed by liver(23.0%), intestine(26.7%) and testis(15.4%). The level of total polyenoic acids comprising DHA was more abundant in muscle(57.4%) than in the liver(50.9%).
