Synthsis of Ferroxplana Y-type($Ni_2Y$) Magnetic Particles (Ferroxplana Y-type($Ni_2Y$) 자성(磁性) 분체의 합성)

  • It has been prepared by a coprecipitation method for Ferroxplana $Ni_2Y\;(Ba_2Ni_2Fe_{12}O_{22}$ magnetic particles, which is one of the Hexagonal ferrite. The coprecipitates were synthesized by adding aqueous solution of $BaCl_2{\cdot}2H_2O,\;NiCl_2{\cdot}6H_2O\;and\;FeCl_2{\cdot}4H_2O$ (of which the mole ratio is $Ba^{2+}:Ni^{2+}:Fe^{2+}$=1:1:6) to a mixture of NaOH and $Na_2CO_3$ solution. The shape of Ferroxplana $Ni_2Y$ magnetic particles obtained at the calcined temperature 1,100($^{\circ}C$) was hexagonal plate-like, average particle size was 2(${\mu}m$), and aspect ratio was more than 7.

  • 선박이 지정된 선석에 안전하게 접안하기 위해서는 도선사와 예인선의 도움이 필요하다. 접안 과정에서 선박이 선석까지 남은 거리와 접안 속도는 선박에 탑승한 도선사와 선원들의 육안에 의존하는 경우가 많으므로 안전에 대한 위험 요소가 있다. 본 연구에서는 접안 과정에서의 위험요소를 줄이고, 접안에 도움을 줄 수 있는 인공지능 센서 기반 선박 접·이안 정보 추출 기술을 개발하였다. 개발 기술은 임베디드 시스템과 클라우드 시스템에서 구동되며, 인공 지능 영상처리 기술과 센서 융합 기술을 기반으로 측정한 접안 중인 선박의 운동 정보를 접안 이해 관계자들에게 서비스한다.

Piezoelectric and Electrostriction Properties of Electrostriction Ceramic Prepared by Double Calcination (이단하소법에 의해 제조된 전왜세라믹의 압전 및 전왜특성)

  • In this paper, PNN-PZN-PZT ceramics were fabricated with various mole ratio of the PZT[$Pb(Zr_{1/2}Tid_{1/2})O_3$]. PNN [$Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$] and PZN[$Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$ powders prepared by double calcination and PZT powders prepared by molten-salt synthesis method. The formation rate of perovskite phase in PNN-PZN-PZT ceramics could be obtained about 92% at PZT 0.3 mole ratio. The relative permittivity of specimen with PZT 0.3 mole ratio was shown 5,320 and appeared the relaxor ferroelectric feature. The maximum piezoelectric coefficient $d_{31}$ to be used for evaluation the displacement of piezoceramics in PNN-PZN-PZT ceramics was $324{\times}10^{-12}$(C/V) at the vicinity of morphotropic phase boundary and was larger than that of solid PZT ceramics($120{\times}10^{-12}C/V$).

  • In this paper, the permeability ($\mu_{\tau}'$, $\mu_{\tau}''$), dielectric constants($\varepsilon_{\tau}'$, $\varepsilon_{\tau}''$) and absorbption characteristics of Ferrite/Rubber 0-3 composites were investigated. The composite specimens were prepared by molding and curing the mixtures of matrix rubber and Ni-Zn ferrite powders which were synthesized by wet-direct method. The permeability ($u_{\tau}'$) of specimen was decreased from 2.58 to 0.7 in the range of 1$\sim$7(GHz) and kept constant 0.7$\sim$0.8 at higher than 7(GHz), the higher the frequency was, the less the valves of $u_{\tau}"$ was from 1.57 to 0.03. The optimum thickness of microwave absorber, utilizing the Smith chart, was 5(mm). The reflection loss shows over than 20(dB) from 5.5(GHz) to 7.5(GHz) at 5(mm) thickness and relative band width(B/fm) was about 30%.

  • The ceramic filters were developed using technology similar to that of quartz crystal and electromechanical filter. However, the key to this development involved the theoretical analysis of vibration modes and material improvements of piezoelectric ceramics. The primary application of ceramic filters has been for consumer-market use. Accordingly, a major emhpasis has involved mass production technology, leading to low-priced devices. A typical ceramic filter includes monolithic resonators and capacitors packaged in unique configurations. Nakazawa developed a double-mode resonator as two acoustically coupled single resonators. And he developed 10.7MHz crystal filters using multi-energy trapping mode of thickness shear vibration. He succeeded in realizing a two-pole band pass filter response without external inductance by splitting a dot electrode to creat coupled symmetric and antisymmetric vibration modes. Accordingly, the simulation for ceramic filter were important. So that, this paper were investigated the pass frequency of filter on the electrode length and thickness of ceramic.

  • The application of the ultrasonic nozzle has been extended because it is possible atomization of liquid material. In this study, the characteristics of the ultrasonic nozzle and ceramic oscillator were investigated. The oscillator for the ultrasonic nozzle were made piezoelectric ceramic of $Pb[(Sb_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})_{0.035}-(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_{0.065}-(Zr_{0.49}Ti_{0.51})_{0.90}]O_3$. The electromechanical coupling factor$(k_p)$ and mechanical quality factor$(Q_m)$ showed the values of 0.555, 1,214 respectively when the Zr/Ti ratio was 49/51. Moreover, this oscillator will have the temperature stability because it's curie temperature is $322[^{\circ}C]$. The driving current of ultrasonic nozzle showed the value of 80[mA] when the driving time was 10[min.]. Also, The surface temperature of ceramic oscillator showed $80[^{\circ}C]$ at driving time 10[min.] We knew that the ultrasonic nozzle had stabile driving above 10[min.].

Any-angle Path Planning Algorithm considering Angular Constraint for Marine Robot (해양 로봇의 회전 반경을 고려한 경로 계획 알고리즘)

  • Most path planning algorithms for a marine robot in the ocean environment have been developed without considering the robot's heading angle. As a result, the robot has a difficulty in following the path correctly. In this paper, we propose a limit-cycle circle set that applies to the $Theta^*$ algorithm. The minimum turning radius of a marine robot is calculated using a limit-cycle circle set, and circles of this radius is used to generate a configuration space of an occupancy grid map. After applying $Theta^*$ to this configuration space, the limit-cycle circle set is also applied to the start and end nodes to find the appropriate path with specified heading angles. The benefit of this algorithm is its fast computation time compared to other 3-D ($x,y,{\theta}$) path planning algorithms, along with the fact that it can be applied to the 3-D kinematic state of the robot. We simulate the proposed algorithm and compare it with 3-D $A^*$ and 3-D $A^*$ with post smoothing algorithms.

  • In this paper, we designed Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) for large scale Superconductor Flywheel Energy Storage System (SFESS) and PD controller for AMB. And we experimentally evaluated SFESS including hybrid type AMB. The radial AMB was designed to provide force slew rate that was sufficient for the unbalance disturbances at the maximum operating speed. The thrust AMB is a hybrid type where a permanent magnet carries the weight of the flywheel and an electromagnetic actuator generates the dynamic control force. We evaluated the design performance of the manufactured AMB through comparison of FEM analysis and the results of experimental force measurement. In order to obtain gains of PD controller and design a notch filter, the system identification was performed through measuring frequency response including dynamics for the AMBs, a power amp and a sensor using a sine swept test method after levitating the flywheel. Through measuring the current input of the AMBs and the orbit of a flywheel according to rotational speed, we verified excellent control performance of the AMBs with small amount current for the large scale SFESS.

  • This paper proposes vision sensors and deep learning-based around view monitoring system for ship berthing. Ship berthing to the port requires precise relative position and relative speed information between the mooring facility and the ship. For ships of Handysize or higher, the vesselships must be docked with the help of pilots and tugboats. In the case of ships handling dangerous cargo, tug boats push the ship and dock it in the port, using the distance and velocity information receiving from the berthing aid system (BAS). However, the existing BAS is very expensive and there is a limit on the size of the vessel that can be measured. Also, there is a limitation that it is difficult to measure distance and speed when there are obstacles near the port. This paper proposes a relative distance and speed estimation system that can be used as a ship berthing assist system. The proposed system is verified by comparing the performance with the existing laser-based distance and speed measurement system through the field tests at the actual port.

Visual Servoing-Based Paired Structured Light Robot System for Estimation of 6-DOF Structural Displacement (구조물의 6자유도 변위 측정을 위한 비주얼 서보잉 기반 양립형 구조 광 로봇 시스템)

  • This study aims to demonstrate the feasibility of a visual servoing-based paired structured light (SL) robot for estimating structural displacement under various external loads. The former paired SL robot, which was proposed in the previous study, was composed of two screens facing with each other, each with one or two lasers and a camera. It was found that the paired SL robot could estimate the translational and rotational displacement each in 3-DOF with high accuracy and low cost. However, the measurable range is fairly limited due to the limited screen size. In this paper, therefore, a visual servoing-based 2-DOF manipulator which controls the pose of lasers is introduced. By controlling the positions of the projected laser points to be on the screen, the proposed robot can estimate the displacement regardless of the screen size. We performed various simulations and experimental tests to verify the performance of the newly proposed robot. The results show that the proposed system overcomes the range limitation of the former system and it can be utilized to accurately estimate the structural displacement.
