  • 전력변환장치에 널리 사용되는 전해 캐패시터는 그 수명이 상대적으로 짧은 것으로 알려져 있으며, 전력변환장치의 신뢰성 확보를 위해서는 등가직렬저항 또는 캐패시턴스의 추정을 통해 전해 캐패시터의 열화상태를 진단할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 부스트 컨버터에서 평균 모델 기반 디지털 제어를 통해 전해 캐패시터의 캐패시턴스를 추정하는 방법에 대해 연구를 진행하였고, 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 그 특성을 평가하였다.

  • Metal oxide surge arrester were developed in the late 1970s, and were immediately adopted as significant breakthrough in over voltage protection of power system. Work was continued throughout the world on the design, development and application of metal oxide surge arrester. This paper describes the evaluating test and results of practical use for analyzing the performance of gapless metal oxide surge arresters under various type test. In the result, ZnO element exhibited badness rate of 6.95 percent.

  • A resonant type voltage source and power device and a control method using Pulse Density Modulation(PDM) power control and Pulse Width Modulation(PWM)voltage control for plasma sterilization are described. For the stability of discharge in the generating tube, it is desirable that the peak apply voltage is constant. The PDM power control is employed for sustaining the voltage constant at any generating tube input power. Moreover, to avoid the influence of input AC voltage fluctuation etc., PWM voltage control with generating tube peak voltage feedback is used. Both functions were confirmed by the experiment with inverter and generating tube. The effect of input synchronous PDM method for input current stabilizing is confirmed also.

  • This research focus on analyzing the quality of clothing product in view of consumer's sensibility trend with a emphasis on measuring objective quality of pruduct. The fuzzy logic-based multi attribute model has been developed in order to evaluate the quality of clothing product. The overall quality of a clothing products can be divided into two distinct terms, product quality and brand value. Those two values are further analyzed with a relation to human sensibility.

  • 희토류원소는 변성작용, 변질작용 및 풍화작용의 영향 측면에서 다른 원소에 비해 영향을 덜 받는 특성 (Taylor and McLennan, 1985; McLennan, 1989; Lee et at., 1994)과 더불어 암석생성과정을 이해하는 데 매우 중요한 기초자료로 이용되고 있으며 지구의 생성과정을 이해하는데 중요하게 인식되고 있다. 최근의 연구결과에 의하면 퇴적물의 기원을 밝히는데 있어서 희토류원소가 매우 유용한 도구가 될 수 있음이 밝혀졌으며(Piper, 1985; Cullers et al., 1987; Elderfield et at., 1990), 지표수 혹은 지하수에서의 희토류원소 존재도가 지하수의 유동방향을 지시해준다는 연구결과가 보고되기도 하였다(Johannesson et al., 1996, 1997).   • This paper proposes a new auxiliary resonant DC link(ARDCL)snubber circuit and deals with its power loss on the basis of actually-measured conduction loss characteristic of switching device module. Voltage-fed soft switching three-phase inverter using proposed ARDCL snubber circuit is presented along with its performance evaluations. And, the power loss analysis of three-phase hard and soft switching inverter are carried out from the point of simulation and experimental results.

  • In this paper the thermal aging characteristics of transformer fluid were considered. First, the temperature rise characteristic in transformer winding was discussed. The temperatures were rapidly increased immediately with applying load and then the temperature was followed the exponential temperature rise model. Next, Capacitance and leakage current characteristics of the transformer fluid were measured during the over-loading operation. The capacitance of vegetable fluid and leakage current were evidently increased wit aging time. So the simple methods could be applied to diagnosis of the transformer aging
