전체 성대 마비 환자의 약 10%에서 발생하는 것으로 알려진 양측 성대 마비는 안정 혹은 경미한 운동시에도 호흡 장애를 초래하는 경우라면 이에 대한 치료가 요구되는 질환이다. 이에 대한 치료 방법으로는 성문 기도를 넓히면서 흡인이 되지 않고 음성장애를 일으키지 않는데 목적을 두고 피열연골 고정술, 피열연골 절제술, CO2, 레저 피열연골 절제술, 성대 측방 고정술, 후성대 절제술, 점막하 성대 절제술, 근-신경식술 등 다양한 방법이 사용되어져 왔다. (중략)

성문하 협착과 기관 협착이 동반된 경우 이를 치유할 몇가지 방법이 시도되고 있으나 만족할만한 효과를 얻지는 못하고 있다. 저자들은 성문하와 기관협착이 동반된 27세 남자환자에서 기관 및 성문하 협착부 전면을 제거후 쇄골에 흉쇄유돌근(Sternocleidomastoid muscle: SCM)이 붙은채로 쇄골의 절반을 절제하여 수질부위를 제거후 협부점막을 부착하였다. 이렇게 얻어진 Vascularized clavicle을 성문하와 기관의 전면부 재건에 이용하여 좋은 결과를 얻었기에 문헌고찰과 함께 이를 보고하고자 한다.

점진적 전송 방식은 낮은 해상도의 영상에서부터 점진적으로 더 높은 해상도의 영상으로 전송이 진행되는 동안 수신측에서 전송된 저해상도의 영상으로 영상의 가치를 판단하여 나머지 부분의 전송을 진행하거나 취소 할 수 있어 제한된 전송 대역을 효과적으로 이용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 영상의 점진적 전송을 실현하기 위하여 영상을 비트플랜으로 분리한 후 각 플랜에 대하여 상보 쿼드트리 구조로 재구성한 후 적절한 순서에 따라 데이터를 전송하여 전송 초기단계에 영상의 내용을 대체적으로 파악할 수 있도록 하였다.

1959년 7월 25일 창립된 대한국토ㆍ도시계획학회는 현재 2천4백50여명의 개인 회원과 2백여기관의 단체회원이 가입되어 왕성한 학술활동을 펴오고 있다. 이 학회는 매년 4회의 학술발표회를 통하여 40편 이상의 논문을 발표하고 있으며 학회지인 "국토계획"은 40여년동안 1백2호를 발간했다. 특히 올해에는 창립 40돌을 맞아 지난 7월 23일 기념세미나를 열었고 "학회 40년차"도 발간했다.

Measurement and estimation of rail irregularity is an important factor to concern travelling safety of train. Now a day, rail irregularity have been measured by EM120 and ROGER 1000K imported from MERMAC Co. Italy and making researches actively in Korea. This paper mainly consider to find correlation between acceleration value of wheel axle in HSR350x and rail irregularity value measured by EM120.

Laryngomalacia is the most common cause of inspiratory stridor and varying degrees of airway obstruction in infants but rarely occurs in children or adults. However, acquired airway obstruction would be developed due to the presence of redundant mucosa in the aryepjglottic folds similar to that seen in congenital laryngomalacia after central nervous system damage. To this condition, the term“Neurasthenic Laryngomalacia”is applied. We have recently experienced a case of neurasthenic larygomalacia, which has been managed by laser aryepiglottoplasty with good result. We report management and outcome of this patient with a review of the literatures.

Reconstruction for hypopharynx and cervical esophagus after wide resection of extensive hypopharynx and larynx cancers have been used various methods including myocutaneous flaps, gastric pull up, md jejunal or large bowel free graft. Recently, the authors had experienced hypopharynx and larynx cancers with extension to the posterior hypopharyngeal wall and thoracic esophagus. Of course, these reconstructive methods should be selected in accordance with the patient's age, physical status, extend of prim.:W lesion, and defect after on block resection, however, gastric pull up was performed in hypopharynx cancer which had skipped lesion in the thoracic esophagus and jejunal free grafts were performed in case 2, 3 which had a extended lesions to the posterior pharyngeal wall. Some complications were noted, which were successfully stabilized by conservative managements. The gastric pull up and jejunal free graft were considered suitable methods for reconstrunction of hypopharynx and cervical esophagus, however, further studies are necessary about it.

The aim of this study was to identify the onuses of abnormal precipitation in buckwheat extracts and to suggest the preventive solutions. Abnormal precipitation was formed by the coagulations of small round droplets, and increased when poor quality or old buckwheat used. It was found that, unlike poor quality buckwheat, extracts made from fresh buckwheat showed almost no saccharifying enzyme activity and a lower number of microorganisms. The addition of branched starch to the extracts restricted the occurrence of abnormal precipitation and microorganisms and imparted stability to the extracts.
