In this study, we analyzed the information asymmetry and the agency problem in major affiliated companies on the basis of the R&D investment. As a result of comparing how the R&D investment effects on major affiliated companies and the independent companies, even the achievement of R&D investment effects in a positive way to the firm value, the positive effect appears much lower on major affiliated companies comparing independent companies. In order to analyze the case, we investigated in a separate way according to the shareholding ratio and the affiliated market using the sample of the independent company and the group affiliated company. As a result of such analysis, the cause of this comes from the agency problem in major affiliated company, not the asymmetry information of affiliated company. After we analyzed the sample of the research depending on the affiliation market, we could observe there is a little impact of the asymmetry information in the outcome of the R&D investment of the major affiliated companies. In contrast, the companies which rated lower in the ratio of the shareholding appears much less in the positive effect of R&D investment compared to the companies which rated at a higher level. This phenomenon was also consistently observed when changing the research method or further subdividing the sample of companies belonging to the group based on the ownership share of major shareholders.

올해 아시아 건축 총회는 적도에 가까운 열대의 나라 스리랑카의 수도 콜롬보에서 개최되었다. 총 회원국 15개국 중에서 몽고, 마카오는 국내 사정에 의해 참석치 못하였고 본 협회에서는 김영수 전회장 이정근 국제위원장 이근창 위원이 이사회 대표로, 김지덕 위원 유건 위원이 교육위원회 대표로, 오근석 위원과 협회 사무국 손경익 대리가 옵저버로 참석하였다. 학생잼버리에는 97년도 학생부문 건축상 수상자와 지원자를 포함 6명이 합류하였으며 본 협회 회원 3인도 옵저버 자격으로 참관하여 총 16명이 총회에 참석하였다. 내전으로 수도인 콜롬보 시내 가로 주변에는 무장한 남ㆍ녀 군인이 검문, 검색을 하고 있었으며 주요 건물의 출입도 통제된 사회주의 국가의 냄새가 물씬 풍기는 분위기였다.

Data dissemination schemes for wireless sensor networks, where sinks and event targets might be mobile, has been one of the active research fields. For doing that, stationary nodes gathered data on behalf of mobile sinks and the relayed data in previous studies. their schemes, however, lead to frequent query flooding and report congestion problems over sink moving. We propose a data dissemination protocol to solve both the query flooding and the report congestion problem. Our scheme improves the two shortcomings through sink location management. Finally, we prove effectiveness of our protocol through computer simulations.

All kinds of objects on the ground have inherent spectral reflectance curves, which can be used to classify the ground objects and to detect the target. Remotely sensed data have to be transferred to spectral reflectance for accurate analysis. There are formula methods provided by the institution, mathematical model method and ground-data-based method. In this study, RapidEye satellite image was converted to reflectance data using spectral reflectance of a CASI hyperspectral image by using vicarious radiometric calibration. The results were compared with those of the other calibration methods and ground data. The proposed method was closer to the ground data than ATCOR and New Kurucz 2005 method and equal with ELM method.

In this study, marble that consist mainly of calcite were used for applicability evaluation after treated with consolidant such as alkoxysilane series of 0.8T0.2E1G_3wt0.08% and 1T1G_7wt0.08%. The position and intensity of X-ray diffraction peaks are no change and increasing trend after treated with two consolidants. The results of scanning electron microscopic analysis, morphology of rope type and homogeneous surface of platy or leaflike form observed on the marble after treated with 0.8T0.2E1G_3wt0.08% and 1T1G_7wt0.08%, respectively. Brightness of surface after treated with consolidant are changing slightly dark. Shore hardness and ultrasonic velocity values show increasing after treated on the marble surface with two consolidants.

This study was to evaluate the usefulness of gamma glutamyl transferase (GGT) as a surrogate marker predicting metabolic syndrome. 7,155 non obese men over the age of 20 were studied as subjects. The criteria for diagnosing MetS were the National Cholesterol Education Program - Third Adult Treatment Panel (NCEP-ATP III). The risk of developing MetS according to GGT was conducted logistic regression analysis, and the ROC (receiver operating characteristic) curve was obtained to confirm GGT ability to predict the risk of MetS. Regardless of age and body mass index, MetS had a 7.09 times higher risk of onset in the fourth quartile than in the first quartile of GGT (p<0.001). The AUC (area under the curve) of GGT for the diagnosis of MetS was 0.715, and the cutoff value of GGT was 40.0 U/L, the sensitivity was 65.0%, and the specificity was 70.2%. Therefore, GGT is considered to be a useful diagnostic index for diagnosing MetS.

One of the dark sides of the development of information and communication technology is the significant increase in cybercrime. In particular, investigators in charge of cyber sexual crime are repeatedly exposed to video data of illegal sexual violence; hence, they are at high risk of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and experiencing vicarious trauma. Notwithstanding, few studies have focused on these investigators' PTSD, and, to the best of our knowledge, no study has been conducted on the vicarious trauma of cyber sexual crime investigators. Therefore, this study identifies investigators' mental health status (trauma-related, especially) and examines their perception of the currently operating psychological support programs. Further, by reviewing the psychological support system of overseas institutions, we would suggest psychological support and policies necessary for domestic cyber sexual crime units to manage investigators' work stress and prevent mental illness under domestic circumstances.
