Our fossil fuels will be exhausted and replaced with renewable energies over tile next few decades. And rapidly increasing consumption of primary makes every country recognize the potential significance of climate change and necessity of greenhouse gas reduction. A critical part of the solution is to ratify the Kyoto Protocol and the UNFCC, and to develop and utilize the wind energy. One of the renewable energies, wind energy is increasing competitive in liberalised energy markets and shows annual growth rate of $20\~30\% in past five years. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to describe the necessity and characteristics of wind energy industries, to compare the international development policies of wind energy industries, and to suggest and discuss the alternative development policies of wind energies in Korea

As the quantity of goods transported, port industry and inland transport industry have developing to transport 630million ton goods annually. And the inland transport industry consists of ground transport for almost 80% of total transported goods. But, ground transport causes some serious problems especially the emission of greenhouse gases from trucks. According to issue "global warming", many regulations and agreements with countries in the world are becoming necessary and it is being fulfilled now. It is sure that Korea will have duty to reduce CO2 emission from 2013. Thus inland transport must cut off CO2 emission level. Therefore this paper will address that the calculation of CO2 emission under route of transportation container from six major container ports in Korea. And then, it will predict CO2 emission of inland transport industry according to increasing container traffic rate at ports.

According to the issue "global warming", many regulations and agreements with countries in the world are becoming set and it is being fulfill now. Under the progress of Post Kyoto Protocol agreement, It will be sure that Korea rave a duty to reduce $CO_2$ emission from 2013. For them, Korea have to make a strategies about the Climatic Change Convention for all industries. Recently, a great attention about $CO_2$ emission in the world is focused on port, shipping line and airline. Most countries are establishing policies to prevent environment from these industry fields, but Korea has not yet made for them. Thus, Korea need to collect $CO_2$ emission data not only the routes of container from port but also activities in the port. In this paper, an estimation of $CO_2$ emission under the route of container transportation at Korea by using O/D analysis will be addressed. And then, it will be used to make a optimal routes of container transportation which can reduce $CO_2$ emission in future.

As the has been brought out in 1997, many ports pay attention to greenhouse gas emission reduction and try to develop the port as an Green Port. The purpose of this paper is to establish the activities priority for Green Port construction and analysis its efficiency for the port competition. First of all, the activities for Green Port is introduced and showed its characteristics. To analysis these effectiveness for Green Port, the questionnaire survey is done by considering the opinion of port specialists. And by using AHP analysis method, the priority between the port activities is obtained and its effect for Green Port is taken by considering port competitiveness.
