This study suggests a plan of tables of deference for Korean Decimal Classification, 4th edition, based on the study on those in Dewey Decimal Classification, 21st edition. It suggests two tables for the Auxiliary Tables, one for standard subdivisions and one for subdivisions for literature. Twenty-two tables are suggested for the Schedule of ten main classes.

This study was to suggest the improvement and the application of KDC 6 for classifying children's books by the literature review and survey. First, it was suggested to shorten the classification numbers by the divisions and subdivisions and to expand the classification numbers by sub-subdivisions according to the library-specific classification policy, using the subject statistics of the children's books held by 20 public libraries affiliated in Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and representative C libraries. Second, the knowledge picture books and the fairy tales were suggested to be classified according to its subject, and the fairy tales in each country were suggested to be classified by adding sub-subdivisions and genre subdivisions. Third, it was suggested to shelve by collection and location codes that were distinguished by the ages and the reading level for user, to prepare a standard guideline for shelving, and to implement the regular user education about the classification system. This study could contribute to the development of the KDC abridged version for children's books in the future.

The purpose of this study is to identify the applicability of machine learning targeting titles in the classification of books in public libraries. Data analysis was performed using Python's scikit-learn library through the Jupiter notebook of the Anaconda platform. KoNLPy analyzer and Okt class were used for Hangul morpheme analysis. The units of analysis were 2,000 title fields and KDC classification class numbers (300 and 600) extracted from the KORMARC records of public libraries. As a result of analyzing the data using six machine learning models, it showed a possibility of applying machine learning to book classification. Among the models used, the neural network model has the highest accuracy of title classification. The study suggested the need for improving the accuracy of title classification, the need for research on book titles, tokenization of titles, and stop words.

본문에서는 김치관련 논문을 조사하여 기본적으로 저자, 국가, 연구기관별 분석을 통하여 연구분야 현황 및 기술 분류별 분석, 기술의 주요 분포도 등을 파악하였으며, 분석결과를 도식화된 그래프 및 맵핑(mapping)을 통해 체계적이며 다각적으로 나타내어 관련 분야 연구 및 기술 동향을 정리하였다. 단, 김치관련 관능 및 기호도 조사, 역사조사, 김치를 이용한 음식에 대한 연구논문들을 제외하고 김치자체의 제조공정, 원료 및 신소재에 대한 기술에 대한 연구문헌만을 조사하여 분석.정리하였다.

이 글에서는 우리나라 기계산업의 ICT(Information Communication Technology) 융합을 정의 분류하고, 이에 따른 대표적인 기술사례를 소개코자 한다. 또한 한국은행 산업 연관표를 활용하여 기계산업 중간투입에서의 IT 부문 비중을 의미하는 ICT 융합도(측정 평가 지표)를 제시하고, 변화 추이를 분석하였다. 아울러 기계산업 ICT 융합의 경제적 파급효과를 부가가치 유발효과의 관점에서 살펴보고 향후 기계산업의 기술방향을 제시코자 한다.

본 연구는 인터넷상에서 제공되는 지적콘텐츠에 대한 영속적이고 고유한 식별 체계인 DOI 상용 서비스의 일환으로 DOI 구문을 구성하고 있는 Prefix와 Suffix 식별코드를 개발하였다. 이를 위해서 현재 인터넷상에서 지적콘텐츠를 유통시키고 있는 기관들을 조사 분류하여 콘텐츠 보유기관 식별코드를 개발하였다. 또한 지적콘텐츠의 속성 및 유형 분석을 토대로 Suffix 코드의 구조 및 식별코드를 개발하였으며 관련 콘텐츠간의 연계를 위한 저작권 식별기호를 고려하였다.

백과사전 데이타베이스의 효과적인 검색을 위한 색인시스템을 설계하였다. 여기에서는 항목에 대한 각종 속성정보와 본문정보를 모두 포함한 색인표제어파일을 작성하고, 각 항목에 대한 참조항목을 별도로 두지 않고 시소러스파일의 BT, NT, RT, UF를 사용하여 그 항목과 연관된 항목을 참조하도록 한다. 시소러스파일은 각 색인표제어에 부여한 주제분류기호(DDC, 또는 KDC)의 계층구조를 이용하여 자동생성한 후 색인자의 수작업을 거쳐 작성된다. 이 색인시스템을 통해 백과사전에 포함되어 있는 모든 정보를 이용한 다양한 접근이 가능하며 시소러스를 사용하여 관련항목을 브라우징을 할 수 있어 포괄적인 검색이 가능하다.

In this paper, an approach for 3-D object segmentation and classification, which is based on eigen-values of polynomial function as their surface features, using neural network is proposed. The range images of 3-D objects are classified into surface primitives which are homogeneous in their intrinsic eigenvalue properties. The misclassified regions due to noise effect are merged into correct regions satisfying homogeneous constraints of Hopfield neural network. The proposed method has advantage of processing both segmentation and classification simultaneously.

Automatic recognition of seal imprint has been required in the oriental countries. In this paper, a hierarchical approach for seal imprint verification is presented. Global features are used for seal imprint description in the first step. In the second step, conventional and several proposed local features are used to detect useful informations such as size, distribution and relative position of stroke length from seal imprint. In the last step, seal imprints are classified into one of three categories 'accept', 'ambiguous' and reject', based on the hierarchical classification. Experimental results show good performance on classification and recognition.

대농갱이, Leiocassis ussuliertsis는 분류학상 메기목(Order Sluriformes), 동자개과 (Family Bagridae)에 속하는 종으로 전장이 50 cm에 이르는 대형 종이며 한강과 금강 등 우리 나라의 각종 하천에 서식하며 북한과 중국, 러시아에도 분포한다(In and Kim, 1990). 본 종은 매운탕으로 기호도가 높은 중요 식용어이나 근래 자연 자원의 감소와 수요의 증가로 양식의 필요성이 점차 요구되고 있다. (중략)
