라이프니츠는 일반적으로 현대논리학의 선각자라고 부른다. 그래서 라이프니츠 논리학에서는 현대 논리학을 이해함에 있어서 중요한 단초들을 발견할 수 있다. 라이프니츠의 논리학을 대표하는 개념으로는 흔히 보편수학, 보편기호학 그리고 논리연산학을 들곤한다. 라이프니츠의 보편수학의 이념은 연대 논리학이 논리학과 수학의 통일에서 출발할 수 있는 결정적인 근거를 제공했다. 이러한 현대 논리학의 출발에 있어서는 상이한 두 입장을 발견할 수 있는데, 부울, 슈레더의 논리대수학과 프레게의 논리학주의가 바로 그것이다. 이 두 입장은 "논리학과 수학의 통일"에 있어서는 공통적인 관심을 보이지만, 논리학의 본질을 라이프니츠의 보편기호학에서 찾느냐 또는 라이프니츠의 논리연산학에서 찾느냐에 따라 상이한 입장을 취한다. 이외에도 보편과학이나 조합술을 이해하지 않고는 라이프니츠 논리학에 대한 총체적인 시각을 갖기 힘들다. 이 두 개념은 특히 타과학이나 과학적 방법론과 관련지어 논리학이란 과연 무엇인가라는 논리철학적인 조명에 있어서 중요한 실마리를 제공한다.

본 논문에서는 Boole 함수를 기호 다치 논리 함수로 확장하여 법-M(Modulus-M)의 수체계를 기본으로 하는 기호 다치 논리 함수에 대한 MacLaurin 전개의 구조적 성질을 분석한다. 그리고 기호 다치 변수의 상태 변화에 따라 이에 사상된 퍼지 규칙을 자동 생성할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 또한 이러한 이론과 성질을 기존의 퍼지 추론 기능과 결합하여 동적인 상태 변화에 적응할 수 있는 퍼지 추론 시스템 설계방법을 제안한다.

아리스토텔레스 이후부터 프레게와 럿셀의 현대논리학이 등장하기 전까지 가장 중요한 논리학의 저서는 "포트로얄 논리학"이라고 알려진 "논리학 혹은 사유의 기술" 이다. 이 저서는 아리스토텔레스와 중세의 고전논리학적 요소와 프레게의 현대논리학적 요소를 동시에 지니고 있어 고전논리학과 현대논리학의 가교 역할을 하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 이 논문의 목적은 포트로얄 논리학에 나타난 서술문의 계사에 대한 설명과 그에 대한 대립되는 해석들을 살펴보고 포토로얄 논리학전체 체계에 비추어 볼 때 어떠한 해석이 보다 설득력있는 해석인가를 검토해 봄으로써 포트로얄 논리학이 지닌 고전적 요소와 현대적 요소를 대비해 보는 것이다. 즉 포트로얄 논리학의 서술문의 계사에 대한 설명을 통해서 그 저서의 한계와 의미를 알아보고, 논리학사에서 그 저서의 정당한 가치를 평가하는 것이 이 논문의 목적이다. 서술문의 계사에 대한 포트로얄 논리학의 설명은 계사는 주어와 술어 사이의 동일성 기호라는 고전적인 해석을 가능하게 하는 여지를 가지고 있는 것은 분명하다. 동시에 서술문의 계사는 술어의 속성들의 집합(comprehension)에 속한 성질들을 주어의 외연(extension)에 적용시키는 역할을 한다고 주장함으로써 프레게의 개념과 대상에 대한 설명과 유사함도 보이고 있다. 필자는 포트로얄 논리학의 계사에 대한 설명을 주어와 술어의 동일성 기호로 해석하는 최근의 빠리앙뜨의 주장(1978)을 비판적으로 살펴보고, 포트로얄 논리학의 계사에 대한 설명을 보다 정확하게 이해하는 것은 술어의 속성과 주어의 외연 사이의 서술적 기능이라고 보는 것이라고 주장한다. 계사를 동일성 기호로 해석하는 것은 첫째 포트로얄 논리학 전체를 살펴볼 때 빈약한 문헌적 증거밖에 갖지 못하고, 둘째 논리학과 의미론에서 포트로얄 논리학의 가장 중요한 기여라고 평가되는 속성집합과 외연의 구별에 대한 오해를 포함하고 있으며, 마지막으로 이러한 해석은 같은 술어도 주어가 달라짐에 따라 다른 의미를 갖는다는 주장을 포함함으로써 반직관적이다. 반면에 계사를 서술적 기능을 하는 것으로 해석하는 것은 포트로얄 논리학의 외연과 내포 사이의 구별에 대한 보다 정확한 이해에 근거한 것이고 종속절을 갖고 있는 명제에 대한 포트로얄 논리학의 분석에 의해서도 뒷받침됨을 보인다. 그러나 포트로얄 논리학은 주어의 외연이 공집합인 명제에 대한 분석에서 여전히 고전논리학적인 설명을 고수한다. 즉 그러한 면제에 대해 주어의 외연이 존재한다고 가정하는 존재적 관점의 해석만 허락함으로써 전칭명제를 조건적으로 해석하고$[({\forall}x)(Sx{\rightarrow}Px)]$, 특칭명제를 연언적으로 해석함으로써$[({\exists}x)(Sx&Px)]$, 그 문제를 해결하는 현대논리학과는 구별된다. 즉 포트로얄 논리학은 서술문의 계사를 동일성 기호가 아니라 주어와 술어의 외연과 내포사이의 서술적 기능으로 설명한다는 점에서 고전적인 견해와 구별되지만, 여전히 존재적 관점에서 모든 명제를 해석한다는 점에서 고전적이다. 이것이 바로 포트로얄 논리학의 평가를 위해서 주목해야 할 그 논리학의 가치이며 한계인 것이다.

Generally, multiple-valued logic algebra is based on the number system of modulo-M. In this paper, characters a, b, c‥… each of them represents the independent state, are regarded as the elements of the symbolic multiple-valued logic. By using the set theory, the symbolic multiple - valued logic and their functions are defined. And Varation for the symbolic logic function due to the variation of a variable and their properties are suggested and analized. With these variations, the MacLaurin's and Taylor's Series expansions of the symbolic logic functions are proposed and proved.

This Paper introduces a historical background of mathematical logic. Logic and mathematics were not developed dependently until the mid of the nineteenth century, when two streams of logic and mathematics came to form a river so that brought forth synergy effects. Since the mid-nineteenth century mathematization of logic were proceeded while attempts to reduce mathematics to logic were made. Against this background $G{\ddot{o}}del's$ proof shows the limitation of formalism by proving that there are true arithmetical propositions that are not provable.

조합논리는 기본적으로 정해진 해석이 없는 순수한 형태만을 가지고 추상적으로 연산하는 관점에 관한 논리로서, 논리학을 기호학적 관점에서 볼 수 있는 토대를 제공해 준다. 조합논리의 특징은 연산자가 피연산자도 될 수 있다는 사실에 있으며 그래서 동일한 연산자가 그 자신의 피연산자도 될 수 있다. 이 논문에서 우리는 기본연산자들의 직관적 개념과 형식적 개념을 소개하고 연산자 대수에 내해 검토하고 나서 조합논리와 $\lambda$-연산의 번역가능성에 다해 알아보겠다. 조합논리에 유형의 개념을 추가하면 자연언어 분석에서 아주 효율적인데 기본유형인 대상자 명제 이외의 어떤 요소라도 함수자로 나타낼 수 있는데 이들은 조합자의 특수한 경우로서 파생유형들이다.

In this paper, we construct the state table of the automata according to input, state, and change of state and transform that state table into symbolic multi-valued logic formula. Also, we propose an adaptive automata which adapts dynamically change of state aqording to the input string of automata by using the properties of derivative about the symbolic multi-valued logic function. And we analyze the properties of the adaptive automata.

In the logic where we study the principle and method of human, the binary logic with the proposition which has one-valued property that it can be assigned the truth value 'truth'or 'false'. Although most of the traditional binary logic which was drawn by human includes fuzziness hard to deal with, the knowledge for expressing it is not precise and has less degree of credit. This study uses multi-valued logic in order to slove the problem above that .When compared with the data processing ability of the binary logic, Multi-valued logic has an at a high speed. Therefore the Inference can be possible by minimization multi-valued logic in stead of using the information stead of using the information system based on the symbolic binary logic.

This research is to investigate the way to combine Peirce's typology of signs with architectural design. A new diagram is suggested to ensure the continuity of Peirce's typology, by rearranging and reconstructing the well known inverted triangle diagram showing the structure of the typology. The new diagram is easier to understand the organization of the typology, by showing the linkages between sign types and their relationships with other types. A way to adapt the new diagram to architectural design for the purpose of representing typology as well as ensuring model growth as semiotic model for architectural design model. The new model is organized of three sign clusters, sinsign cluster, legisign cluster, and symbolic cluster. They are interrelated through successive inclusion and case inclustion. The new model is organized of threefold layers. The first layer is internal structure of each cluster. The second is interrelation between cluster. The third is mediation of symbolic cluster between sinsign cluster and legisign cluster. This paper investigate and demonstrate the possibility of adaptation of the new model in architectural design. It has been argued that the theoretical basis of sign typology is adaptable to architectural design by principle. More future research issues are discussed.

기존의 자연어 의미 표상 방법은 크게 나눠보았을 때 두 가지가 있다. 첫 번째로, 전통적인 기호 기반 의미 표상 방법론이다. 이 방법론들은 논리적이고 해석가능하다는 장점이 있으나, 구축에 시간이 많이 들고 정작 기호 자체의 의미를 더욱 미시적으로 파악하기 어렵다는 단점이 있었다. 반면, 최근 대두된 분산 표상의 경우 단어 하나하나의 의미는 상대적으로 잘 파악하는 반면, 문장 등의 복잡한 구조의 의미를 나타내는 데 있어 상대적으로 약한 측면을 보이며 해석가능하지 않다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 둘의 장점을 섞어서 서로의 단점을 보완하는 새로운 의미 표상을 제안하였으며, 이 표상이 유의미하게 문장의 의미를 담고 있음을 비지도 문장 군집화 문제를 통해 간접적으로 보였다.
