Simulacra theory as propounded by Jean Baudrillard in his seminal treatise, "Simulacra and Simulation," explores the significance of images, media and art in contemporary culture. Its central theoretical premise is the simulacrum, a sign or symbol that plays a crucial role in constructing perceived reality but which lacks a real-world referent. In Michel Gondry creates simulacra in the form of hallucinatory dream imagery by combining stop-motion animation and live-action elements. As experimental film-making that combines analog and minimum digital technologies, the result is a tour-de-force of synchronization. This study analyzes the film's technique and expressive content and, by adopting simulacra theory as a conceptual framework, aims to provide a better understanding of Gondry's work.

최근 홍국색소는 천연계착색료로서 뿐만 아니라 발효식품, 발효조미료등에도 이용되어 기호에 맞는 새로운 홍국 개발도 적극적으로 진행되고 있어 인지도가 높아지고 있다. 혈청콜레스테롤저하작용, 혈압강하작용, 혈당강하작용, 항산화작용등 여러가지 약리효능을 지닌 홍국균을 이용해 재래적 방법에 근거하여 홍국주를 제조하여 그 제조공정을 확립하고 품질특성을 확인하였다. Monascus purpureus를 액체배양법에 의해서 홍국코지를 제조하고 코지의 역가는 $\alpha$-amylase와 $\beta$-amylase 활성은 400unit와 4.44unit를 나타났으며, acid protease 활성은 80unit, neutral protease 활성은 91.4unit로 나타났다. 홍국코지에 증자된 쌀과 물을 혼합하여 발효경과를 측정하고, 발효가 끝난 홍국주의 DPPH법에 의한 전자공여능, 아질산염 소거능, Total phenolic compound함량, ACE저해작용등을 측정하였다. 홍국주의 발효경과 분석은 알콜도수는 2차 담금 후 2일째-13.2도, 4일-13.5, 6일째-13.5, 8일째-13.5, 10일째-13.4로 나타났다. 환원당은 2일째-23.26, 4일-20.68, 6일째-21.74, 8일째-19.93, 10일째-14.23 $^{\circ}$Brix로 점점 감소한다는 것을 볼 수 있으며, 색도에서 적색을 나타태는 Hunter value a값은 2일째 -14.72, 4일-14.97, 6일째-15.70, 8일째-16.43, 10일째-17.29로 시간이 지날수록 붉은 색소가 증가한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. pH는 2일째-4.52, 4일-4.02, 6일째-4.11, 8일째-13.11, 10일째-13.18로 pH가 약간 낮아진 것을 볼 수 있다. 산가는 2일째-8.4, 4일-6.7, 6일째-7.0, 8일째-7.5, 10일째-11.5로 pH가 산성화 될 수록 산가는 증가하는 것을 볼 수 있다. 홍국주의 전자 공여능에 의한 항산화력은 25.6%, 아질산염 소거능은 27.6%, Total phenolic compound 함량은 12.34mg%, ACE저해작용은 38%의 항산화력을 나타냈다.

The biofunctional properties of traditional Doenjang supplemented with the extract of herb medicines (refer as DHM) were examined DHM divided to four groups, I, II, III and IV according to herb medicines were added. Nitrite scavenging-activities from all 4 groups of DHMs were significantly higher than that of control. Also hydrogen donating-activities from all 4 groups of DHMs were slightly higher than that of control. Antibacterial activities against pathogenic bacteria such as Streptococcus mutant and Salmonella enteritidis and fibrinolytic activity of all DHMs on fibrin plate were higher than those of control. On the other those of groups III and IV were higher in sensory score, biofunctional and antimicrobial activities than those of group I, II and control. Therefore, the usage of extract of Korean herb medicines instead of water to make Doenjang will effective in development of traditional soybean Doenjang with the biofunctional properties.

A knowledge-based expert system has been developed implementing the ambiguous process of conceptual design of flywheels in earlier design stage to assist the selection of proper flywheel types and dimensions. Knowledge for the flywheel design consists of the rules for conventional as well as super flywheels and other informations required for the design process. Those knowledges were extracted from literatures and some experts in the field. With these knowledges, an integrated knowledge based expert system was developed to help users with informations and facilities to design flywheels interactively using a commercial package of knowledge-based system called INSIGHT2 of backward chaining and proprietary package of forward chaining written in LISP language. The developed system consists of the knowledge base part and calculation park : the first one consists of main module and user level modules and the other one is to assist in analyzing the stress distribution in the flywheels and deciding the flywheel dimensions and specifications for various types of flywheels using proper data bases and graphic facilities. With this flywheel design software, several examples were tried generating acceptable design results.

The tools and techniques for measuring the spectral distribution of light emitted by, transmitted by, or reflected from food surfaces are described for determining the extent to which original natural color is preserved in processing and subsequent storage of foods. Color differences may be evaluated indirectly in terms of some physical characteristic of the sample or extracted fraction thereof that is largely responsible for the color characteristics. For evaluation more directly in terms of what the observer actually seen, color differences are measured by reflectance spectrophotometry and photoelectric colorimetry and expressed as differences in psychophysical indexes such as luminous reflectance and chromaticity. The standard system, against which other systems could be compared, is the one recommended by the International Committee on illumination and which is based on the 'standard observer', which is a simulated standard eye, consisting of three primary color filters Z, with X being essentially amber in color, Y, green and Z, blue. Any spectrophotometric curve of reflectance obtained from the surface of an object can be integrated in terms of X, Y and Z. Psychophysical notation may be converted by standard methods to the colorimetrically more descriptive terms of Munsell hue, value and chroma.

The marsh vegetation in the vicinity of Tumunsan, Tokyusan National Park, Chollapuk-do, Korea was analysed in order to find out the vegetational characteristics. The total number of vascular plants surveyed were summarized as 39 familieis, 77 genera, 74 species, 18 varieties and 1 form. The ten species such as Juncus effusus var. decipiens, Carex leiorhyncha, Lysimachia vulgaris var. davurica, Sirpus triqueter, Scirpus karuizawensis, Caltha palustris var. membranacea, Carex doniana, Carex humilis, Vicia venosa, and Disporum smilacinum showed the Importance Value more than 10 % in herbaceous marsh vegetation. The species such as Heloniopsis orientalis, Astilbe chinensis var. davidii, Trignotis peduncularis, Lycopus ramosissimus var. japonicus, Iris nertschinskia and Hosta capitata were distributed at very limited or wide spread localities in the marsh. The marsh vegetation in this area is one of the rare and very distinct natural resources in Tokyusan National Park and the proper Action Plan of Management is strongly needed because the projected developing works in this site will act seriously in marsh vegetational changes in the future.

'Probiotics' as a live microbial feed supplementation which beneficially affects the host animal by improving its microbial balance and it is known to as a substitue for antibiotics in livestock feed industry. Lactic acid bacteria as a Lactobacillus sp. is formed acid and decrease pH in gastro-intestine that is result in suppress harmful microorganism. Lactobacillus sp. also produces vitamin and a variety amino acids. Yeast as a saccharomyces sp. secretes digestive enzymes, decreases ammonia emission and increases feed palatability by alcohol and glutamic acid. The effects of dietary probiotics in monogastric animals that improve weight gain and feed efficiency ratio and decrease diarrhea accurence frequency in pigs. Also, probiotics increase egg production ratio and beneficial microorganisms in laying hens. In broiler, they have more gain weight and lower blood cholesterol concentrations by probiotics. However, the other study reported probiotics supplementation in animal diets has no effect on ADG, G/F or performance. Thus, future study in these area will allow for more efficient use of the probiotics, selection of more superior microorganism and development of more efficient environment-friendly probiotics like a photosynthetic bacteria.

With the development of e-commerce and the proliferation of easily accessible information, information filtering has become a popular technique to prune large information spaces so that users are directed toward those items that best meet their needs and preferences. While many collaborative filtering systems have succeeded in capturing the similarities among users or items based on ratings to provide good recommendations, there are still some challenges for them to be more efficient, especially the user bias problem, non-transitive association problem and cold start problem. Those three problems impede us to capture more accurate similarities among users or items. In this paper, we provide probabilistic model approaches for UCHM and ICHM which are suggested to solve the addressed problems in hopes of achieving better performance. In this probabilistic model, objects (users or items) are classified into groups and predictions are made for users considering the Gaussian distribution of user ratings. Experiments on a real-word data set illustrate that our proposed approach is comparable with others.

A new standard pink rose cultivar 'Noble Eye' was bred from the cross between pink standard cultivar 'Noblesse' and pink standard cultivar 'Pretty Woman' at the Jeollanamdo Agricultural Research and Extension Services (JARES). The cross was made in 2003 and, 'Noble Eye' was finally selected in 2009 after investigating characteristics for three times from 2006 to 2009. 'Noble Eye' a pink standard cultivar has good flower shape with few prickles. The major characteristics of this cultivar was $125.7stems/m^2/year$ in yield. 69.8 cm in length of cut flower, 6.6 cm in flower diameter, 40.5 in petal number, and 9.4 days in vase life. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer's preference of this cultivar was relatively higher than that of control cultivar, 'Noblesse'.
