Convergence of the Image of the Professor in Human Resources of Small and Medium Enterprises to Self Image : Mediating effect of voice image (중소기업 인적자원의 교수자이미지가 자아이미지에 미치는 융합연구 : 교수자음성이미지의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate 188 university students at Seoul National University and to present self - image data to university students for the development of small and medium human resources. The results of the study are as follows. First, there was a positive correlation between the correlation between the image of the trainee perceived by university students and the self - image, the correlation between the image of the trainee perceived by the university students and the voice image, and the correlation between the voice image and the self - image perceived by university students. Second, as a result of examining whether or not the voice image is mediated in the relationship between the image of the talent and the self - image perceived by university students, Therefore, it is confirmed that as the image level of the talent related to the human resource of SMEs increases, the level of the voice image increases and the self image level also improves accordingly.

  • Korean companies currently operating in China have made active efforts to undertake corporate social responsibility activities and corporate advertising to improve their image, as well as marketing activities directly related to their products. In this context, this study aims to analyze how corporate social responsibility activities and corporate advertising influence a company's image from the perspective of Chinese consumers. This study also analyzes corporate image, consumer-company identification, and the structural relationship between the consumers' behavioral responses and their evaluation of Korean products. Based on theoretical discussions and previous studies, the study tests five research hypotheses for the development of a theoretical research model. In order to empirically test the research model, data were collected by enlisting and observing MBA students from major universities in China. The results obtained by actual analysis are as follows. First, corporate social responsibility activities and corporate advertising were found to be positively influential on corporate image. Second, corporate image is positively influential on consumer-company identification. The consumer-company identification of Chinese consumers' evaluation of Korean products, and positive evaluation of Korean products in turn induce positive influences on Chinese consumers' behavioral responses. These results suggest that the Korean companies already established in China not only need to enhance a positive corporate image but also have to make efforts to undertake corporate social responsibility activities and corporate advertising activities in order to improve their continuous and long-term relationship with Chinese consumers.

  • The purpose of this study is to present the current status and implications of companies in relation to the nature of CSR based on the theoretical background of corporate social responsibility (CSR). For consumers using mobile phones from Samsung, LG, and Apple, the impact of CSR components on corporate image, customer satisfaction, and customer citizenship behavior was analyzed. Economic responsibility, ethical responsibility, and philanthropic responsibility all have positive effects on corporate image. However, it was found that legal responsibility did not pay attention to the corporate image. And the corporate image was found to have a positive (+) effect on customer satisfaction and customer citizenship behavior. The results of this study suggest that companies need to devise a systematic CSR education system for their stakeholders.

  • After having changed its corporate brand from LG Fire & Marine Insurance to LIG Non-life Insurance in 2006, LIG Insurance has successfully built the corporate image as the leading insurance financial group by engaging in extensive corporate social responsibility activities. LIG, as 'a partner for sharing precious moments of life', intended to provide customers a new value of an insurance by building up the new corporate brand. It established three values to be shared internally. First was to instill a brand value orientation within the organization. Second, the firm identified the brand's value to be delivered to the customers. Third, they defined the image objective to be communicated to them. Based on these set of objectives, the company designed and implemented an integrated marketing communication(IMC) strategy over several years. The result was a successful transition to the new corporate brand name.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of food corporations'sponsorship activities on Brand Images and Purchase Intension in professional sport industry in Korea. To accomplish the purpose, SPSS 18.0 Ver., had been conducted with 263 actual returned questionnaires. After the relevant literature reviews and analysis statistic data, three outcomes were deducted, those are, first, sponsorship factors for food corporations in professional sport industry significantly influenced on brand image. Second, Sponsorship factors for food corporations in professional sport industry significantly influenced on the purchase intension. Third, brand image of food corporation in professional sport industry significantly influenced on purchase intention. With this study, undiscovered several marketing strategies of food corporations with professional sport of Korea for their future marketing strategies could be discussed and proposed.

  • The purpose of this paper is to see whether a corporate's social activity has any influence on purchase intention and corporate image, and how it affects consumers' feelings with that correlation. This study empirically proves that the influence of purchase intention and corporate image can be different according to the corporate's social activities. The study suggested for a crucial marketing direction on a practical affairs level, along with a need of corporate social activities. Corporate social activities affects to build a positive corporate image, product image and purchase intention. When companies need to improve the corporate's image enhance, corporate social activities will be bring social and economic benefits and to be a very useful activity other than the corporate's communications activities. Therefore, corporate needs to pursue a more systematic and strategic social activities under a perception that a corporate social activities.

  • To explore the social construction of the concept of leadership, image of media mogul depicted in the popular business newspaper, the Wall Street Journal, was analyzed. Then, the reconstructed image of the CEO was compared with the firm's stock price change to see their relationship, if any. This paper focused on the case of Steve Case (previous chairman of AOL Time Warner), who was the leader of the world largest media company. The period for the analysis was three years and five months from his inauguration(January 2000) to the resignation(May 2003). In general, CEO of a firm represents the firm itself. Thus, the image of the CEO is highly transcends to the image of the firm as well. Consequently, the image of CEO might have an impact on the firm's performance. Since business newspaper works as one of the most important information intermediaries in the stock market, the image of CEO constructed in the newspaper might be a critical indicator for the investors. The results revealed that media coverage of Steve Case was commensurate with the financial performance, particularly stock price change of the AOL Time Warner.

Convergence of facial image efficacy on job satisfaction of SME workers (중소기업 직장인의 얼굴이미지효능감이 직무만족에 미치는 융합연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between facial image efficacy and job satisfaction in a sample of 167 workers in SMEs in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. and to examine the effect of SME workers' face image efficacy on job satisfaction. The results of the study are as follows. First, there was a statistically significant correlation between management ability and job satisfaction, which is a sub - area of facial image efficacy. This means that the higher the management ability, the higher the degree of job satisfaction. There was a statistically significant correlation between perception attitude and job satisfaction, which is a sub - area of face image efficacy. Second, management ability, which is a sub - area of face image efficacy of SME workers, has a statistically significant effect on job satisfaction. The sub - domain of face image efficacy has no effect on job satisfaction, Expression confidence, which is a sub-domain of image efficacy, has a statistically significant effect on job satisfaction.

  • Unlike in the past, the environment related to CSR activities of financial services companies changed, such as lower interest rates, easier access to knowledge and the environment for risk management of financial services companies changed, including global economic instability, increased regulations, and exposure of new technologies associated with operating methods. This study examined the effects of CSR activities and risk management on sustainability and mediating effects of corporate image among financial service companies. The result of the study are as follows. First, the CSR's legal responsibilities, management in disaster risk and strategic risks of financial service enterprise have positive effect on sustainability, however, the management of CSR's ethical responsibilities, discretionary responsibilities, operational and financial risks have shown to have negative effect Second, CSR's legal responsibilities, discretionary responsibilities and the management of disaster risks act as mediating role between corporate image and sustainability. As a result, when financial service enterprises concentrate on managing CSR's Legal responsibilities and disaster risks, it was found that the corporate image improves and enhancement of sustainability.
