This study analyzes the characteristics of the evolution process of the Gumi National Industrial Complex as well as its external and internal drivers based on the cluster adaptation cycle model. The Gumi National Industrial Complex has made remarkable progress through expansion in spatial and industrial realm and has become a representative IT industry cluster in Korea. It evolved during a growth period from the 1990s, a maturity period from the mid-2000s, and a mature stagnation period from the mid-2010s. But it has now entered a period of decline. While external drivers at the international and national level greatly influenced the Gumi National Industrial Complex in its evolution from foundation-building to maturity, internal drivers such as the outflow of large firms as well as a lack of SME research capacity and institutional base have added to the management difficulties of SMEs in the mature stagnation period. Therefore, in order for the Gumi National Industrial Complex to move into a revitalization period that strengthens resilience against external shocks, it is necessary to enhance the capacity of SMEs by expanding the roles of the central government, local government, and support agencies. In addition, it is necessary to create and embed strong medium enterprises within the Gumi National Industrial Complex, so that the Complex can be reborn as a sustainable innovation ecosystem.

2000년부터 시작된 '닷컴 기업의 몰락'으로 전 세계 인터넷 기업들은 큰 타격을 입었다. 수많은 기업들이 만성 적자에 시달리거나 도산해야 했으며 여전히 많은 업체들은 '살아남기'에 급급한 상황이다. AOL, 야후, MSN 등 해외 주요 포탈들과 다음, 야후코리아, 네이버 등 국내 포탈들 역시 갑작스런 광고수익의 급감으로 적지 않은 심리적, 재정적 어려움을 겪어야 했다. 하지만 이들은 그동안 쌓아왔던 시장지배력과 기술력, 기획력 등을 바탕으로 새로운 수익기반 마련에 나섰고 이들의 노력은 올해 상반기부터 하나 둘 결실을 맺고 있다. 이 글은 정보통신정책연구원(KISDI) 정보통신산업연구실의 권남훈 팀장이 지난해 말 발표한 '인터넷 포탈 비즈니스의 진화과정 및 경쟁구도'라는 연구보고서를 토대로 작성됐으며, 이글에 나타난 수치는 최근 자료로 대체됐다.

최근 코로나19 팬데믹으로 외식(外食)보다 내식(內食) 수요가 늘어나면서 가정간편식(HMR)이 진화를 거듭하고 있다. 이 진화를 주도하는 포장전문기업이 있다. 전자레인지 전용 포장용기 '찜팩(ZZimpak)'으로 국내는 물론 해외시장까지 공략하고 있는 (주)태방파텍이다. '찜팩(ZZimpak)'이라는 새로운 포장용기로 신 시장을 열어가고 있는 정희국 태방파텍 대표이사를 만나 끊임없이 제품을 개발해 시장을 선도할 수 있는 원동력은 무엇인지, 그 원동력을 가지고 어디까지 나아갈 것인지 정 대표이사의 궁극적인 목표에 대한 이야기를 들어보았다.

The purpose of the current study is to see what implications Nonaka's hypertext organization concept has to Korean companies. For this, first characteristics and stages of the knowledge evolution in Korean companies were reviewed compared with those in companies in advanced countries. Hyundai Motors was analyzed for an evidence case from which characteristics and stages of knowledge evolution in Korean companies could be figured. From these analyses it was found that the context where Nonaka's hypertext organization cocpet is based on could be different from contexts some Korean companies could experience, suggesting that the applicability of the Nonaka's concept might have some limitation.

This paper is concerned with unveiling the responsiveness of large Korean firms to external shock by examining corporate restructuring in terms of production and organization. Throughout empirical research, I speculate on how corporate restructuring influences and relates to corporate teaming and adaptation. The main findings of this research are as follows. First, the restructuring of business structure was expected to strengthen core competencies and improve profitability and the restructuring of organizational structure to make it possible for responding more quickly to radical changes in its business environment. Second, both downsizing and employment adjustment have assisted the firm with unlearning obsolete practices, preconditions necessary for effectively accomplishing new teaming practices. Third, both the spatial reorganization of production activities and process innovation require and involve learning processes. In conclusion, it claims that corporate restructuring can be seen as a powerful loaming tool, particularly in the context of radical economic change.

대기업과 중소기업을 막론하고, 기업의 정보화는 기업의 지속가능한 발전을 위하여 필수불가결한 요소가 되어가고 있다. 또한, 기업들의 업무 프로세스는 기존의 정보화 시스템 및 신규 정보화 시스템 개발 및 보완을 통하여 전사적 단계로 진화되고 있으며, 자체적인 정보화 시스템 개발 및 운영인력을 보유하지 못하는 대다수의 기업들은 이러한 정보화 시스템 개발과 운영의 많은 부분을 기업 외부의 자원을 활용하는 아웃소싱에 위탁하여 수행하고 있다. 근래에 들어, 아웃소싱 인력을 포함한 내부자에 의한 정보유출 및 보안 사고의 규모는 매해 증가하고 있으나, 기업의 보안시스템은 해킹, 크래킹 등의 외부자 공격에 대한 방어위주로 구축되어 있다. 또한, 아웃소싱에 참여하고 있는 인력에 대한 적절한 기술적 관리적 보안체계의 수립이 미흡함으로써 발생하는 보안사고로 인하여 기업이 막대한 피해를 입는 사례가 나타나고 있다. 따라서, 아웃소싱 인력에 대한 보안수준을 향상하고 체계적인 아웃소싱 보안관리를 위한 가이드라인 수립이 필요한 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 선행연구를 조사하여 아웃소싱에 대한 보안 통제항목을 도출하고 도출된 보안 통제항목을 바탕으로 아웃소싱 보안수준을 높이기 위한 보안관리 추진방향을 제언하였다.
