Germany has carried out its environment friendly energy policy to prevent $CO_2$ emission that affects directly to the global warming phenomenon. Based on this direction, it has performed a sustainable development strategy through the R & D activities in environment and energy technologies. Accordingly, the core elements of German energy and sustainable development policies are renewable energy, ecological energy tax, and emission trading system. In particular, Germany has supported to develop renewable energy resources that prevents from consuming fossil energy resources. At the same time, it has set the ecological energy tax and initiated the emission trading system in order to support the renewable energy policy continuously. This paper analyze whether or not it is possible to generate an economic growth and a sustainable development while using renewable energy resources based on the renewable energy policy that minimize the negative effects on the environment. For that, the paper adopts Germany as a model country. In fact, it is possible to achieve the economic growth and the sustainable development if a nation can substitute increasing energy consumption for the economic growth to renewable energy resources that does not affect to the environment negatively. This model is the German energy policy and sustainable development strategy, and it is the purpose of the paper to prove it logically.
Mega-corporations are emerging as a result of M&As (mergers and acquisitions) in the logistics industry. The global logistics market has progressed in a continuously competitive manner. Global logistics corporations provide integrated set of services, from production to disposal in order to manage the process efficiently throughout the diverse regions of the world. To advance into an total integrated logistics provider, the corporation must have professional knowledge in logistics and information technology which are necessary to deliver effective integrated logistics solutions. The government has integrated the logistics corporations both horizontally and vertically with the aim to foster logistics corporations possessing global competitiveness. Six years have passed since the implementation of the comprehensive (total) logistics industry certification system in pursuit of making Korea the hub for the Northeast Asian logistics market. This study compares and analyzes the efficiency of nine mega integrated logistics providers by applying the CCR model and BCC model. Each of the nine corporations is subject to certification as integrated logistics corporations. In Korea, nine corporations are certified individually as integrated logistics corporations out of the 31 logistics providers. The analysis showed that the Glovis was the most efficient integrated logistics provider reaching 100% in efficiency and displayed the highest efficiency for six consecutive years from 2005 to 2010. The study also found that the Glovis will be able to maintain 100% in efficiency rate, even though the input are increased over six times as many as those of 2010.

While the trend of all industries recently lies in combination, construction industry is much interested in enhancing efficiency and competitiveness in the aspect of site control by adopting RFID. Though RFID has been applied to diverse areas thus far, it cannot be easily applied to construction industry due to diverse physical, chemical and use-environmental properties of construction materials. Furthermore, it is rarely applied to the site because of many problems in its application. It is required to prepare RFID code issuance and system that can systematically control the code as well as to research the standardization of frequency, specification, protocol, package method, recognition method, etc in order to apply RFID to construction industry. In this research, RFID code issuance and management program are proposed as a part of program research to apply RFID. Furthermore, the restricted matters of existing RFID tag are drawn to produce pilot product of RFID tag that can solve it so as to perform site application test. According to the experiment, effective recognition distance varies depending on material/environmental property and control efficiency changes depending on attachment method and application method. Thus, preparing diverse restrictive factors and solutions by systematically analyzing control method(medium, process) of current architecture materials and applying it to construction site can be the way to successfully apply RFID.
Recently, the scope of user interface is increasing the relative importance in software development dramatically. As a result, there are various relative technologies like as SWING, MFC, Web 2.0, and etc. However, most current software developments are progressed in separate development process with user interface part and business part respectively. This causes the problems, like as a difficulty in the integration process, an development period's delay, and a poor reusability for the constructed models. That is, the extendability and reusability of the created models is being decreased because UI modeling is not systematic and hierarchical, and the consistent integration technique between UI modeling and business modeling does not supported. To solve these problems, this paper proposes an unified and systematic UI modeling process based on UML, using the hierarchical metamodel according to the abstraction levels of development phase. We suggest an UI metamodel, which contains a hierarchy by layering the modeling elements in PIM and PSM based on maturity degree of the development. An hierarchical modeling process combined UI modeling and business modeling is built by applying the UI and business metamodel in terms of three modeling phases(concept/specification/concrete). The effectiveness of the modeling process is shown by applying the proposed process into an Internet Shopping Mall System. Through the exploratory results, the hierarchical UI metamodel and process can produce systematic and layered UI models. This can improve the quality and reusability of models.

U-City laws are divided into three categories: intellectual laws, information superhighway laws, and integrated operation center laws. Previous studies have suggested that efficient infrastructure operation and management is necessary in Ubiquitous-City (U-City). However, infrastructure is often interpreted differently by different laws. The purpose of this study was to plan for the integrated operation of intelligent service facilities by comprehensively analyzing the law system of domestic intelligent service facilities and problems in operation and management based on this critical mind. For this, present conditions and problems of intelligent service facilities were found through interviews with people who are in charge of the law system and other practitioners. The necessity of integrated use, including city information generated from intelligent service facilities and installment locations, has been demonstrated. Government ministries and local governments have established various information systems using ICT and U-City laws that specify integrated management and operation, but do not clearly specify definitions for the specific responsibility and authority for main agents participating in facility operation. A system is needed to smoothly mediate the relevant divisions so that they can use installed equipment simultaneously for efficient operation in generating city information. This objective of this study was to prepare a unitary law system for efficient installment and management of intelligent service facilities by establishing a logically linked relationship among the relevant laws and regulations. This will provide a foundation for a management system that has an integrated linkage of intelligent service facilities.

In this study, we investigated how scientists and teachers engaged in mentoring program are conducting research ethics education and how they are creating an ethical educational environment. A questionnaire survey was given to 32 scientists and 44 teachers conducting mentoring programs for gifted high school students. In the content of research ethics education, most of the respondents opined that they should teach against falsification, plagiarism, and fabrication. Teachers were most likely to teach ethical decision-making in each step of the research process. Most of the scientists said that they should teach how to write research note. For the difficulties, the teachers pointed out the challenging system that focuses only on college entrance exams while the scientists answered that it was difficult to recognize research ethics as the problem of the students themselves. For the teachers, the most affective factor in creating an ethical research environment is the amount of time to teach research ethics while for the scientists, it is the ethics of the mentors. For creating an ethical research environment, the teachers responded with making an atmosphere wherein failure is tolerated, and the scientists responded with increasing the degrees of freedom in results. For the difficulties of creating an ethical research environment, the teachers were constrained by research time while the scientists were pressured about the results. These results provide implications for ways to teach research ethics and for ways to create an ethical research environment in the mentoring program for science-gifted students.
This study aims to identify the learning behavior patterns recognized by students to find effective tutoring operational methods, and further analyze the impact of learning behavior patterns on academic performance and learning satisfaction. To this end, 105 participants in the tutoring program at D University based in Busan Metropolitan City collected data and conducted descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis according to research problems. First, the study found that students who participated in tutoring had the most environment-dependent and self-taught learning behavioral styles and environment-independent and self-taught learning behavioral style. Second, the correlation between learning behavioral styles and academic achievement and learning satisfaction shows that there is a high correlation between positive and cooperative learning behavioral styles and environment-independent and self-taught learning behavioral styles. Third, regression analysis on academic achievement and learning satisfaction showed that positive and cooperative learning behavioral styles significantly affects learning satisfaction, but environment-independent and self-taught learning behavioral style, environment-dependent and self-taught learning behavioral style, and passive learning behavioral style were not significant. These results suggest that from the school perspective, learning behavior can be recognized as an important factor in students' academic success and failure, so instructors need to check learners' learning behavior patterns and provide appropriate tutoring teaching and learning design plans.

As the core technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, AI is applied to various fields of society(e.g. politics, culture, industry, economy, etc.) and causes revolutionary changes. Students who will lead the age of AI need the ability to recognize social changes due to AI, acquire AI related knowledge and utilize AI in various situations. However, it is difficult for elementary school students to understand the concept and principles of AI. Therefore, this study developed an AI education program by selecting educational contents and methods appropriate to the level of elementary school students, and investigated the educational effects of the program by applying it to an actual educational setting. The content selected in this study is 'Social Awareness on AI', 'Understanding AI' and 'Utilizing AI', and eight content elements were selected. To help students learn AI easily and pleasantly at their level, activity-centered education, convergence of subjects and project-based learning were selected as instructional methods, and 20 sessions of education program were developed and implemented. In addition, the effects of the program were analyzed concerning 'perception on AI', 'convergent thinking', 'creative problem-solving' and 'collaboration capability', and positive changes were verified for all four aspects.
In the meantime, broadcasting CG has gone through the process of dismantling, changing, and distorting, while broadcasting CG in broadcasting programs utilizes the expanded background of 'temporality' and 'formality'. This is to create an audiovisual language that appeals to human synesthesia by expressing the meaning to be conveyed in three dimensions. Broadcast CG goes beyond simple instructional and informational broadcast graphic operation, and increases the pure aesthetic value and sensibility of the video considering readability and formativeness, and through this, the audiovisual information perfection of the broadcast program is derived and acts as a very important factor. Therefore, this paper examines the results of broadcast CG production and utilization methods at existing local broadcasters, and identifies the limitations of local broadcasters' CG production and utilization through case analysis for each broadcast program type. We want to derive a model that is a compromise line. In addition, I would like to suggest a plan that can be applied more actively and practically to local broadcasting programs. In order to solve this problem, this study first examines "Analysis of cases of use of broadcasting CG production in broadcasting programs" and then "more efficient broadcasting CG production techniques by identifying problems in broadcasting CG production methods and utilization of local broadcasters" and how to actively use it". In addition, the results of this study are expected to contribute to the establishment of a new role and practical broadcast CG production model for broadcast graphic designers in charge of broadcast CG production and the technical perspective of broadcast program production by local broadcasters.
