People established a network much more using smart equipments by means of the development of the mobile industry. They can get useful information easily, make new personal connections and communities, and form various personal connections using the communities. The importance of contact, timing, and utility of time plays an important role in human relations. Many programs related to personal relations are already saturated. In other words, they are very significant and difficult to use. Many programs that didn't be concerned ahead of time about how to deal with a lot of the amount of information effectively and take it out in order to use it could bring about negative results. Human being already makes use of physical-empirical language in all of the conscious and unconscious areas. This study begins at the supposition that how to make it easy to apply humane gestures and languages to applications with portable equipment close to human beings.

The government, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology(MEST) presented a new policy that standardizes digital textbooks as a method to accept the change of education paradigm in 2006. Since 2007, MEST has begun to provide digital textbooks for some elementary schools. MEST proposes to change digital textbooks as a standard in elementary, middle, and high schools in the future. However, the use of digital textbooks has led to concern about the health of students. The purpose of this study was to identify health-adverse effects of the use of digital textbooks on the health of students. Literature reviews regarding digital textbooks including national and international literature were conducted. The literature reviews found the key physical and psychological factors to be considered in using digital textbooks. The physical factors were symptoms and signs associated with eye, musculoskeletal system, general health, and skin. The mental factors were 'burn out of study' and 'stress due to study'.

In the Korean electricity supply structure, the role of nuclear power generation is essential. But, the delaying of radioactive waste management program induces negative impact to the stable electricity supply. Despite the continuing endeavors of Korean Government and nuclear power industry, radioactive waste management program of Korea is experiencing a continuing setback. In this background, the study examined the past and current policy and recommends that; Long term safety assurance should be the prime objective of radioactive waste management; Siting process should be transparent and opened to the public with the involvement of safety regulatory authority; A new neutral organization which has no conflicts of interest with any other existing organizations should be established to coordinate and manage the R&D programs.

This study presents a new system that can make up for the decrease in identification rate due to the environmental or physical factors of a fingerprint identification system, which is most actively used among existing biometric systems. Considered most usable in life among many types of biometrics due to the convenience of use, smaller initial investment, and the smaller size, fingerprint identification is widely used in diverse applications. However, a fingerprint identification system has several defects, including environmental factors, physical skin damage, and variable sensor contact, lowering the identification rate in comparison to other biometric systems. On the basis of the existing fingerprint system, this study presents a more efficient system that can improve the identification rate by getting additional biometric information and three-dimensional finger type information through the use of simple and inexpensive additional equipment, which can be used in diverse areas.

The purpose of this research is to suggest directions for urban planning and policies for the creation of a happy urban environment. To achieve this objective, this study extracted the urban environment characteristic elements that were expected to affect the levels of individual happiness and empirically analyzed the factors that affect the happiness levels of people. To determine the elements of the urban environment, this research analyzed the variables, urban environment characteristics, such as physical environment, natural environment, social environment, and individual characteristics. Regarding the physical environment of the city, a lower population density and a higher level of walking environment satisfaction showed a high level of individual happiness. In terms of the natural environment of the city, more spacious park areas and higher green area satisfaction showed a high level of individual happiness. Finally, regarding the social environment of the city, social trust was found to affect the happiness levels.

A Korean Retail Company 'Homeplus' has accomplished great growth in a short period. The main factor behind it, which is Hexagon leadership, is based on the manager's experience and management philosophy. It focuses on leaders and the ability to build basic traits of leaders. The main points are organization managing foundations such as people, work, performance, management, facilitation, training and growth. It also includes specific analysis that are applicable right away on success, failure, efficiency and effectiveness of management. The important factor for hexagon leadership is that it focuses on traits of leaders than the skills. Through training, the members of the organization can internalize the six fundamentals, which create a synergy when performed together. Positive results can be found from 'Viewpoint', which is the evaluation method of the Homeplus.

In this paper, we try to criticize a bias that liberal arts are not practical. First, I introduce holistic models of knowledge and constructivism in education. Second, I suggest 'linguistic turn' as another noticeable phenomenon. Language is an element of culture, but a priviledged one because culture, in itself, is linguistic. So culture is a sort of a text. We can see that liberal arts or humanities to deal with texts, contexts and languages can have an important role to read, understand and construct a world. So the rediscovery of the traditional model of the education of liberal arts like processes of graduating studies of liberal arts or humanities, is relevant to a new 'practical' model of reading and leading recent social transformations. An important point is academic contribution. And current situation called 'Knowledge-Based Society' also supports my point in another way. The situation of rapidly changing knowledge requires an education of problem-solving ability by unifying and reconstructing knowledge supporting with constructivism in education rather than the cramming system of education.

This research provides an empirical analysis of the academic libraries' operating performance in Seoul, Korea. This study aims to find the key variables and the impacts of each variables on the operating performance of the academic library to attain competitiveness and long-term conditions for enhancing customer satisfaction. Specifically, this research focuses on the library's circulation service performance. The author try to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of the library (space, number of employees, number of books, budget) and the circulation performance. Korea Libraries Association have published yearly-book on the Korean library's circumstances and statistics. Yearly-book contains the data about the spaces, number of books, number of workers, the library's budget scales and other unique elements. This study finds that the circulation performance of books is positively related with the size of physical space, number of books holdings, and budgets (hypothesis 1, 3 and 4 accepted). This study demonstrate that the characteristic elements of academic library can be influential factor of the library performance.

The diversity of urban landscapes is established by dynamic characteristics such as language, color, and their movement, which are the building environment, street patterns, and people. With the increase of foreign migrants in Korea, new guidelines are needed in terms of local community administration and land policy. Administrative, sociological, and geographical studies have been conducted on the steadily increasing number of foreign migrants since the 2000s, but it is difficult to establish for making safe and healthy communities through which different cultures and lifestyles of each country and ethnic group undergo some integration with the existing host society. There are limitations in identifying the lack of statistical data and the representation of a minority proportion of foreign residents. In order to analyze the core elements of the integrated strategy of the local community, the residential behavior and spatial characteristics of foreign migrants must first be identified.

Using a nonconforming mesh in enrichment methods results in several numerical issues induced by discontinuities and singularities found within the solution spaces, including the computational overhead during integration. In this study, we present a novel enrichment technique based on the selective expansion technique of moment fitting (Düster and Allix, 2020). In particular, two modifications are proposed to address the inefficiency during the integration process. First, a feedforward artificial neural network is introduced to correlate the implicit functions and integration moments. Through numerical examples, it is shown that the efficiency of the method is greatly improved when compared with existing expansion techniques, whereas the solution accuracy is maintained. Additionally, the finite element and domain representation grids are separated, which in turn improves the solution accuracy even for coarse mesh conditions.
