The purpose of this study was to develop an indicator for the selection of urban regeneration areas through an analytical network process. Therefore, this study derived five criteria and 58 indicators based on previous studies. Five criteria and 16 indicators were derived by taking into account the region and city characteristics of Gong-ju. Next, a survey from 63 urban regeneration experts was performed. The weight values of the criteria were calculated using the super decisions 2.0 program. As a result, population characteristics (0.244) was the most important criteria, followed by the industry economy (0.218), condition of promotion policy (0.193), social culture (0.188), and physical environment (0.158). These results will be used to select potential urban regeneration areas, and will contribute to overall effective urban regeneration.

This study suggests Compact City type urban development strategies and planning elements with the purpose of sustainable development. The suggestions are based on analysis of the development projects promoted in the cities within Green-Belt. Following are the findings of this study: First, in the late 20th century, Compact-City has been suggested as standard of sustainable urban development in the developed countries, and this promoted urban development plans were presented in detail. Second, The development plans are suggested plan elements by urban environment, space, community, and management. It was classified as an applicable element in Green belt and Compact City type. Finally, after comparing several city development projects (Gwacheon, Uiwang, Hanam), differences and Limitations between the Compact-City type urban development. Considering analysis of this study, urban development projects in Green Belt should be prepared to sustainable Compact city type urban development.

The purpose of this study is to suggest BIM-based Reference Model(RM) for Urban Facility Management(UFM) System development efficiently. The urban facility management's objective is to take the user convenience and safety from checking the facility to maintain it's function. Recently, to manage the facilities effectively, the BIM technology is being applied to it. In this study, the research trend related to the UFM system is surveyed and analyzed to develop the BIM-based UFM RM. After developing the RM component and process, the BIM-based UFM RM is proposed.

As city functions develop more complex and advanced, interests in smart cities are also increasing. Smart cities refer to the cities effectively solving urban problems such as traffic, safety, welfare, and living issues by utilizing ICT. Recently, many countries are attempting to introduce big data, Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence into smart cities, but they have not yet developed into comprehensive urban services. In this paper, we review the current status of domestic and overseas smart cities and suggest ways to solve issues of data sharing and service compatibility. To this end, we propose a "Deep Learning City Framework" that incorporates the deep learning technology into smart city services, and propose a new smart city strategy that safely shares spatial and temporal data in cities and converges learning data of various cities.

There are lots of data-driven analytics approaches to realize smart city. In Korea, Smart City Integration Platform has been deployed in more than 108 cities so It is very important to utilize the platform for smart city. This paper introduces interworking PoC(Proof of Concept) case between Smart City Data Hub, one of the data platform technologies for smart city, and Smart City Integration Platform for enhancing interoperability of city platforms; Smart City Integration Platform sends various city events to Smart City Data Hub and receives predicted city events produced by data analytics in Smart City Data Hub.

It is necessary to study more integrated and objective method of urban compactness evaluation. Accordingly, the author examined precedent study and references related to the theory of compact city with the aim of deducing the urban planning factors from them. And then, these factors are objectified through the survey and interview with experts, and each of the factors is given a weighting by the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) Method. Based on these evaluation model, the urban compactness of Korean Metropolitan Cities such as Busan, Incheon, Daegu, Gwangju, Daejeon, Ulsan, are analyzed their relative gap. The result of this study, as a foundational data for decision-making on the urban policy, could be useful for compact city planning such as regeneration of old town center etc.
