The Usefulness of Forced Connection Method & Semantics as a Content Planning Tools : An Autoethnography on Planning Process of KBS Current Issue Program (콘텐츠기획 방법으로서 강제연결법과 의미론의 효용 : KBS<단박인터뷰> 기획과정의 자기 문화기술지를 중심으로)

  • Even though there are many discussions about how to plan new content, it is difficult to find the discourse about planning new content in media academy. I tried to check how useful the semantics is in planning new content by autoethnography and how liberal art approach connect with content production field. As I had had no experience of making new current issue program, I chose forced connection method to develop new program's title 'Danbak'. By listing the meaning of 'Danbak' which means 'at once', 'without delay', 'on the spot', 'frankly', I could arrange new mechanism for the program and decide whom to invite and this could be called content planning method by semantics. This is the result of forced production environment characterized by short period for planning and small team and it shows that liberal art approach is useful enough.

  • This study not only suggests a methodology of science planning different from technology planning, but also applies the methodology to the case of astronomy and space science project. Throughout the analysis on this practice, we have provided logical tools for science project planning, and have identified a decision making process in science which has been regarded to be in a 'black box'. Therefore, this science planning technique can contribute to a more rationalized allocation of scientific resource at a project level as well as at a national level. In particular, catch-up countries in a transition to post catch-up stage such as Korea can establish a more efficient national R&D system by application of science planning concept to an emerging technology area.

  • 본 연구는 생체지문 인식장치의 전략적 상품기획 프로세스를 통하여 표준화된 신상품 기획안을 도출하는데 있다. 이를 위해 사업전략과 목표시장을 설정한 후 1차 설문결과, 고객 요구준건을 , 2차의 설문조사 응답 결과를 바탕으로 기획품질을 결정하며, 이것의 만족도 정도를 Sales point로 삼았다. 상관 매트릭스를 이용하여 요구품질과 기술적 요소의 대응 정도를 살펴 본 후, 개발 제품 현재의 품질 특성치를 파악하기 위해 경쟁업체의 제품을 기준으로 벤치마킹 테스트를 실시하여 첫째, 세대별 상품전략 둘째, 세대별 요소기술 map. 셋째, 세대별 상품 컨셉. 넷째, 세대별 개발계획의 4개 파트의 다세대 상품기획을 수립하였다.

  • 지난 3월 초 한국과학기술기획평가원(KISTEP) 제4대 원장에 조영화 박사가 취임했다. 국가과학기술기획과 주요 과학기술정책 수립, 범부처 연구개발 사업의 조사.분석.평가 등을 전담하는 기관인 KISTEP의 조 신임 원장을 만나 평소의 철학과 정책구상에 대해 들어봤다. 조 신임 원장은 성균관대 졸업후 충북대에서 박사학위를 취득했으며 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI) 1, 2대 원장 등을 역임했다.

  • Game software planning is divided into initial game software planning and detailed game software planning. Technique, design, marketing should be considered in initial game software planning. Especially, technical considerations, platform and game engine and sewer construction and sewer architecture should have effect on development cost and time. So, game software designer should choose technical consideration which is suitable for purpose of game software planning. In this paper, we researched technical considerations in initial game software planning, focusing on platform, game engine, game service, network infrastructure.

  • Korea has started new value creation which is the post catch-up innovation system from the catch-up innovation. Post catch-up innovation system is becoming the main R&D issue for Korea and is needed for the new concept of R&D management and planning frame. This study posed questionnaires : how to promote the knowledge creation in technology planning and what the role of organizational learning in the technology planning is. This paper suggests the relationship of success factors of knowledge creation in technology planning which is organized and operated by experts with different background. Based on the prior research on organizational learning, communications and collaborative interactions, four hypotheses that factors of knowledge creation in technology planning have positive relationship with organizational learning are extracted. This study adopts Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) to analyze the relationship between organizational learning and successful technology planning. The approach based on organizational learning and interaction will be useful for constructing the planning framework in the era of post catch-up innovation. This paper, therefore, suggests the possibility of new theoretical development and new research agenda.

  • In this study, we suggested the methodology and the results of planning of promising technologies in mechanical engineering by focusing on the case of the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials (KIMM). For dedicated commitment to planning of promising technologies, KIMM newly introduced task-force called as 'specialist unit'. In addition, KIMM combined the investigation of external environments with the analysis of internal capabilities of KIMM and utilized the bibliographic coupling analysis in the process of the exploring sub themes. Finally, we provided 8 promising fields and their sub themes in the mechanical engineering. Our study contributed to the strategic development of the main research programs of KIMM. Our findings can be also utilized as the best practice of planning of promising technologies in the field of mechanical engineering.

  • 최근 개방과 협력 기반의 연구정책 수립, 연구기획, 연구개발, 성과 활용 확산 등이 매우 중요하게 인식되고 있다. 특히 기술융합 시대에 연구역량을 하나로 집중하고 창조적인 연구개발을 지원하기 위해서는 연구기획 단계에서부터 개방과 협력에 기반한 연구지원체계가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 연구성과 분석을 통해 획득 가능한 정보와 서비스 기능에 대해서 살펴본다. 또한 연구기획 활동별 서비스 요구사항을 정의하고, 이를 바탕으로 연구성과 분석결과를 기반으로 한 연구기획지원 서비스 모델을 제안한다.

  • Defense technology planning identifies medium-and long-term core technologies to accomplish future defense goals and suggests strategies for future R&D. In order to promote the export-oriented defense industry, planning paradigms should be shifted from technology-oriented planning that focuses on weapon systems to market- oriented R&D planning. This study aims to strategically support 'preliminary technology planning' the Defense Agency for Technology and Quality is pushing ahead with. Through market-orientation analysis models of weapon systems based on defense R&D planning, data research on previous market-oriented research, and the analyses and examples of global defence markets, it evaluates market attractiveness to UAVs and drew methods for exploring markets and enhancing competitiveness of military equipment. The market-oriented analysis model of weapon systems is considered to be a helpful reference as a relevant factor for decision making on establishing and verifying requirement planning. In particular, if a market-oriented defense R&D planning process is established institutionally, it will enable us to make export strategies tailored to different equipment from the planning phase and to support marketing strategically.
