This study explores the corrections on the Korean and the U. S. daily newspapers for the characteristics and differences through the content analysis. For the research, Chosun Ilbo, Hankyoreh Shinmun, The New York Times and The San Francisco Chronicles are selected. The main differences between the Korean and American newspapers are as follows: Firstly, the average number of newspaper errors in Korean dailies are as half as little of those in the U. S. dailies. Secondly, regarding the subcategory of mistakes, the largest thematical number is the societal matters(36.0%), followed by politics(18.3%) and economy(12.1%) for the Korean newspapers. By contrast, errors in culture(17.4%) is the most frequently made by the American newspaper reporters and editors, followed by lifestyle(8.6%), and sports(7.0%). Thirdly, in terms of content of mistakes, errors in names(26.2%) that occurred the most, followed by misidentifications(18.1%) and misattribution(15.8%) for the Korean dailies; the errors in numbers(33.7%), spelling and typographical errors(12.1%) and date(5.6%) for the U. S. dailies. Fourthly, one of the critical reasons that mistakes occurred because Korean reporters are lack of double checking the stories; the U. S. reporters simply by overlooking the articles. Finally, the Korean newspapers make use of only two kinds of correction formats, while the U.S. newspapers use six different correction formats for their newspaper readers.

Nowadays, diverse mass media discovers and introduces outstanding management cases of apartment complexes to induce vital competitions of constructors and active participation of residents to apartment management. This study statistically analyzed the management issues of outstanding apartment complexes that have been introduced by mass media with lexical criteria to examine the characteristics of their exemplary management. The key issues of outstanding apartment management are summarized as: efficient management of convenient facilities for residents, community activities based on residents' participation, and maintenance of pleasant living environments through transparent management. Also, the result of the relation arrangement of co-occurrence word from a Social Network Analysis included three key concepts of multi-family housing management - Maintenance Management, Operating Management, and Community Life Management - with emphasis on 'residents' and 'apartment complexes.' However, Operating Management was relatively deemphasized.

본 연구는 교수 및 학습효과를 증대시키기 위하여 실제 상황에서 일어나고 있는 사회현상들에 대한 보도형태의 자료인 신문기사를 비롯한 각종 매체 자료를 활용하여 사회 제 현상이 현재 학습과정의 교과과정에는 어떻게 연관되며 경영적 이론이 실제 어떻게 적용되는가를 학습함으로써 교과목에 대한 관심도의 증대와 학습심화의 필요성을 증대시키는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 최근의 선별된 자료를 중심으로 각종 경제경영 관련주제의 주요 기사 내용을 숙지하고 주요 기사 내용들의 배경과 문제점을 파악하며 여러 관점에서 다양한 현상의 원인과 배경에 대한 접근으로 사회과학적인 현상을 습득하는 사고방법을 훈련할 수 있다. 또한 다양한 사회 경제경영분야의 요구사항과 사회적인 욕구들을 주지하고 향후 학생들의 사회진출에 따라 사회현상을 이해하고 이를 통하여 보다 적극적인 자신감 고취와 현실사회에 대한 이해력을 증진시킨다.

인터넷의 빠른 보급으로 많은 양의 정보가 유통되기 시작했다. 그러나 사용자들은 필요한 정보들을 취사 선택하기엔 정보들은 양이 너무 방대하다. 각종 사이트에 있는 뉴스들을 실시간으로 사용자들에게 필요한 정보를 제공할 수 있는 뉴스 클리핑은 이러한 사용자들의 요구를 충족할수 있다 하지만 기존의 뉴스 클리핑 시스템은 각 사이트에 접근 후, 수동적인 분석을 통해 뉴스 정보 및 뉴스 기사의 위치를 파악하고 이를 추출하도록 하는 시스템들이다. 본 논문에서 제안하고자 하는 시스템은 사이트의 구조를 파악하고, 뉴스 기사들을 동적으로 추출함으로써 기존 시스템의 단점을 극복하고, 내용 기반의 뉴스기사 검색이 가능하도록 한다.

'과학기술'은 말만 들어도 딱딱하고 골치아픈 분야이다. 과학 기자가 과학기사를 다룰 때는 더욱 어려워진다. 취재한 내용을 전달할 때 신문은 중학교 3학년생이 봐도 이해할 수 있도록 기사를 작성해야 하고 방송은 초등학교 3학년 수준의 리포트를 작성해야 하기 때문이다.

최근 해운시황의 호전으로 전세계적으로 해운시장에 많은 자금이 몰리고 있는 가운데 프랑스계은행이 한국의 관련 제도를 이용하여 선박금융을 체결, 세계해운업계의 이목을 끌고 있다. 특히 이러한 계약은 조선국가에서의 선진금융기법을 활용했다는 점에서 우리나라가 세계 선박금융의 새로운 시장으로 부각되고 있다. 다음은 로이드에서 발간하는 월간지 'Shipping Economist' 8월호 기사내용과 선박금융지원과 관련한 한국수출보험공사의 입장을 정리한 것이다.
