As the cases of merging and cooperation of archives and libraries increase abroad, research and discussions about integration of complex information services among information centers, such as archives, libraries and museums started to emerge. In a similar vein, the need for integrated cultural information centers are suggested in Korea as the museums encounter the need for expansion of contents, and libraries try to diversify their functions, yet regional public archives has not been established. In this context, the concept of 'Larchiveum(libraries + archives + museums)' was proposed as an alternative that integrates and provides various information functions and resources, and research related to this started to emerge. At present, however, the Larchiveum has not been realized, the specific pathway to realize this kind of institution need to be discussed. This study analyzes the functional characteristics and elements of archives, libraries and museums, and based on these, the functional requirements of the larchiveum are drawn, and are reflected on the Larchiveum's functional planning for space planning in this study.

Due to the development of Internet and the collection and usage of the individual information, the infringements of the personal data have been increased rapidly. Regarding the personal data protection in the medical industry, it is clearly described in 'Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and information Protection, etc.'. the law is ratified on the basis of the service provider, therefore, it has its own limitation to be applied to medical industry. Therefore, this paper is to set the security standard and to discuss the range of legal application and considerations on its basis for the domestic medical institution at the electronic medical record system. We exemplify specific applicable content of the electronic signature in the electronic medical record also, present a security assessment item in electronic medical system and set the criteria for the security standard in the medical industry.

현재 양돈산업에서의 인공수정(Artificial Insemination, AI) 기술은 1994년 이후 본격적으로 국내 양돈농가에 보급되어 양돈 산업 발전에 많은 영향을 주었다. 현재 국내 비육돈 임신의 80% 이상이 인공수정 센터에 공급하는 정액에 의해 이뤄지는 등 양돈 산업에서 차지하는 비중과 중요성이 매우 중요하며, 또한 국내 양돈 산업분야의 인공수정 기술은 번식과 육종개량 분야에서 절대적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 이러한 중요성에도 불구하고 전국 AI센터의 정액 생산 및 공급에 관한 기록은 53%이상 수기에 의존하고 있다. 그나마 이에 대한 수집된 현장자료는 전국 AI센터의 개별시스템에 수작업으로 입력 관리되어 원시 데이타의 오류 및 통합정보 활용이 매우 어렵다. 이에 XML을 기반으로 전국 AI센터의 통합정보 관리시스템 모델을 제안한다. 제안된 정보관리 모델은 웹을 기반으로 전국 AI센터의 정보를 통합관리 활용할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 통합된 정보의 통계분석, 미래 예측분석 자료 등으로 활용되어 효율적인 돼지개량 체계를 구축할 것으로 기대한다.

Korean archival community had continuously dealt with attempts at weakening the core of records and archives principles in the name of deregulation. In 2015, Korean government announced revisions of the Archives Law in order to boost uses of commercial records facilities by public institutions. As key concepts were unclear and understandings among stake-holders varied, a considerable degree of chaos and anxiety aroused. The amendment itself was held at National Assembly. The unresolved disputes rested, however, waiting for another attempt of similar nature. As the recognition propelled this paper, it aimed at reviewing major contending arguments and proposing future actions.

Art archives are archives that are produced and collected in activities carried out by artists, critics, and related organizations, and a large portion consists of individual records. Because of these characteristics, art archives have a wide range of media and formats, each with their own characteristics and creators, which can lead to copyright issues in individual cases. This study conducted interviews with six art archive professionals from four institutions, secured and analyzed the copyright status and issues that occurred in the art archives field by business area, and suggested applicable measures for each copyright case.

The research aims to recommend strategies to promote PR activities of 'the Memory of the World(MoW)' on the websites. To achieve the goal, the researchers analyzed the current conditions of online PRs of the MoW in S. Korea by developing the standards/elements for analysis. The research examined the two main concepts of MoW and extracted the three core standards/elements for evaluating current online PRs of MoW through reviewing earlier studies: contents of PRs, ways of PRs, and features of media. The research examined PR activities on the 21 websites of 11 institutions which manage MoW in South Korea. The research found the significant features of the online PRs and suggested detailed strategies for improving the online PRs of MoW: first, it is required to emphasize the values of both preservation and utilization of MoW equally. Second, it is necessary to promote the PRs of MoW by using the way of 'user segmentation'. Third, it needs to develop the unit systems and/or services to integrate with related documentary heritages so that users can access documentary heritages effectively and efficiently. Finally, it is required to develop the guidelines or/and manuals to conduct and promote the PRs of the MoW by providing specific directions and methods of publicities.

This paper aims-through comparative research on two organizations and use of political process theory-to analyze the historical development of, current issues related to and the characteristics of the new transformation of the Freedom of Information Movements (FOIMs) in South Korea. In the ten years since the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) took effect in 1998, Korean FOIMs have developed along the following course: 'emergence' (1998), 'expansion and extension' (1999-2004), 'institutionalization and retro-institutionalization-' (2005-2008). Specifically, in the early stage of FOIMs, the Freedom of Information (FOI) department of the People's Solidarity for Participatory Democracy, established in 1998, had led the FOI movement by initiating reform of the FOI institution and advocating an end to old practices. Paradoxically, however, following the institutional progress of FOI under the Roh Moo Hyun government, the vitality of FOIMs seemed to be weakening. And under the Lee Myung Bak government, which is showing regression in both the FOI institution and practices, the 'dual transformation' of the FOIMs is being led not by old groups but by new ones. The Center for Freedom of Information and Transparent Society(CFOI), which was founded in 2008, has journalists, researchers of archival studies, citizens, lawyers and nongovernmental activists as members. Through its blog style Homepage, countless reports are becoming "open to the public" and "share with the public." And its various civic education programs are interactive bridges which enable mutual communication between the Center and citizens. CFOI is expanding the FOI movement in different ways than the traditional activists such as the FOI department of the PSPD department, which worked through methods such as policy proposals, disclosing information litigation, comments and public statements, and hosting forums. CFOI is leading the 'dual process of transformation' of FOIMs, namely the transformation from an 'advocacy' movement to an 'empowerment' movement and transformation of the FOI movement's framework from "open to the public" to "share with the public."

응급환자의 구급상황은 작은 시간도 환자의 생명에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 응급상황에서 구급대원의 조끼에 부착된 기기를 통해 음성으로 상황을 기록하고 병원 및 119센터와 실시간으로 공유해 환자의 골든타임을 확보하는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 과거 상황에 대한 객관성을 확보하고, 환자의 사후 처방을 보조하는 효과가 기대된다.

Four species, T. michali Radchenko, T. pisarskii Radchenko, T. wui (Wheelr), and T. xanthos Radchenko of the genus Temnothorax were, for the first time, reported in Korea. Authors provide taxonomic information on the morphological characters and photos of species.
