The development of construction automation systems is proposed as a potent solution to the difficulties encountered by the construction industry and the preparation for the rapidly changing construction environment. A research concerning an intelligent excavation system has taken place since 2006. The intelligent excavation system has several functions for environment sensing, 3D site modeling, work planning, work path generation, unmaned control, and information management. This paper presents a space information model and a work path simulator for work planning and work path generation which is one of key technologies required to apply the earthwork system to the real world. A data structure for an earthwork site is suggested. It overcomes the limitations of previous data structures such as Quadtree and Octree. The work path simulator can generate an effective work path with considering information on work environment, equipment and operator's heuristic. The work path generated by the simulator is compared with that suggested by human operators.

In recent, much attention has been paid to the educational serious games that provide both fun and learning effects. However, most educational games have been targeted at the infants and children, and it is still hard to use such games in higher education. On the contrary, this paper aims to develop an educational game for teaching mathematical programming to the undergraduates. It is well known that most puzzle games can be transformed into associated optimization problem and vice versa, and this paper proposes a simple educational game based on the subset sum problem. This game enables the users to play the puzzle and construct their own mathematical programming model for solving it. Moreover, the users are provided with appropriate instructions for modeling and their models are evaluated by using the data automatically generated. It is expected that the educational game in this paper will be helpful for teaching basic programming models to the students in industrial engineering or management science.

A planning agent supporting customers plays a distinguished role in internet marketplaces. Although several internet marketplaces have been built with the maturity of tools based on internet and distributed technologies, there has been no actual study up to now with respect to the implementation of the planning agent. This paper describes the design and implementation of an XML-based planning agent for internet marketplaces. Since implementing internet marketplaces encounter problems similar to those in other fields such as multidatabase or workflow management systems, we first compare those features. Next we identify functions and roles of the planning agent. The planning agent is implemented using COM+, ASP, and XML, and demonstrated using real data used in an existing system.

자연재해저감종합계획의 주요 사항은 하천, 내수, 사면, 토사, 바람, 가뭄, 대설재해 등 자연재해로 인명피해나 재산피해가 발생할 수 있는 지역을 선정하고, 이에 적절한 저감대책을 수립하는 것이다. 다른 부분별 계획과 달리 자연재해저감종합계획은 다양한 자연재해를 대상으로 하므로 재해 유형별로 서로 다른 공학적 기법을 적용해야 한다. 실무에서는 자연재해저감종합계획 수립시 HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS(하천재해), XP-SWMM(내수재해), RUSLE(토사재해) 등 다양한 수치모형과 ArcGIS, QGIS 등 GIS 분석도구를 종합적으로 활용한다. 이 때, 모형별로 요구되는 입·출력 자료의 형식이 다양하다 보니 자료를 변환하는 등 번거로움이 발생한다. 이러한 배경에서 자연재해저감종합계획 수립에 GDP Tools의 적용가능성을 검토하고자 한다. GDP Tools는 방재설계 편의를 위해 개발된 도구로 자연재해저감종합계획에서 다루는 대부분의 재해유형에 대한 분석을 지원한다. GDP Tools를 이용하면 별도로 자료 형식을 변환할 필요가 없고, 분석 결과를 도면화하는 등 다양한 편의 기능을 활용할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 GDP Tools를 활용하여 자연재해 발생가능성을 검토하고, 그 결과를 기존 방법(상용 모형)의 결과와 비교하여 GDP Tools의 성능을 평가하고자 한다.

This study is aimed to present a direction of urban development around regional private university site through the case-study in Joongbu university. Regional private university is in the face of a difficult problem for expansion of campus because of increasing of students and a lot of non-planned development in the circumstance of university site. Therefore we need an planned-development for expansion of university campus. This study abstracted of a direction for development by analyzing the land-use behavior around Joongbu university site.

To set out restoration plan of Evergreen Broad-Leaved Forests(EBLF), a case study was done at Wando arboretum, Sinjido and Jangdo(Island). Firstly, basic environmental survey was done and the degrade levels of EBLF was assessed. And the forest functions and restoration goal of vegetation have been established before considering and setting restoration types of vegetation and restoration techniques. Taking social demand and restoration goal etc. into consideration, the forest functions were classified into a ecosystem preservation, scenery conservation and timber production. Quercus acuta Forest, Castanopsis siebodii Forest, Persea thunbergii Forest, Cinnamomum japonicum Forest, Dendropanax morbifera Forest etc. were suggested as a restoration goal of vegetation. Restoration types of vegetation were classified into a preservation type, restoration type, reconstruction type and afforestation type. And restoration techniques were subdivided into a preservation, induction, improvement, and creation according to the degraded levels of EBLF.

This study examined the family functions and satisfaction of life according to the types of family rituals and investigated the effects of family rituals on family function and satisfaction of life. The survey questionnaire was administered to 136 married women. SPSS Win program with MANOVA and Multiple Regression Analysis was used for data analysis. The main study findings were as follows. (1)The types of family rituals were significantly different according to age and satisfaction of life was significantly different according to the levels of family economy. (2)The influence of family ritual on family functions differed according to the subtype of family rituals. (3)The influence of family ritual on satisfaction of life differed according to the subtype of family rituals. This study indicated that it is necessary to develop affect, routine, and deliberateness for increasing family function and life satisfaction in married women.

Recently, due to the location of residential complexes in commercial areas of large cities, the urban function is shifting from commercial to residential.In order to improve the use volume system in the commercial area of Daejeon Metropolitan City, the system of special and metropolitan cities was compared and analyzed, and problems were derived by analyzing 8 cases. First, use classification of mixed-residential buildings, Second, unbalance of urban planning for functional loss of commercial area, Thrid, damage on urban environment due to difference of development density. Accordingly, improvement measures include First, securing the ratio of residential function and mixed use at least 10%, Second, securing urban competitiveness by inducing facilities that combine various uses and functions. The overall floor area ratio of housing is applied, Third, the development density is presented through the establishment of the district unit plan and consultation.

GIS is essential to regional development and management in informatization age. But utilization of GIS in Korea remains still elementary area of automated mapping or facility management. In this paper, we suggest executable principles that are able to enhance and improve the efficiency of regional development affairs using GIS DB. In order to accomplish the role of planning support tool, GIS DB have to be plentiful geographic contents. Metadata DB, user-friendly application interface and compatibility of data between the public and the private must be constructed in GIS DB. And geographic information should be shared between the public and the private.

본 연구에서는 로봇의 교시, 궤적계획, 충돌, 로봇동작, 제어알고리즘 등의 평가에 유용하게 사용할 수 있는 다기능 오프라인 프로그래밍 시스템인 POLPS(Pusan_national_university's Off-Line Programming System) 를 개발하였다. POLPS은 4축 스카라형 FARA 로봇을 대상으로 개발되었고, 편리한 방법으로 교시작업을 수행할 수 있으며, 교시 내용에 따라 궤적계획을 수행한 후 로봇을 동작시켜 충돌을 회피하는 동적 시뮬레이션을 수행할 수 있다. 제안된 여러 제어알고리즘 중에서 주어진 작업에 적합한 제어알고리즘을 효율적으로 선정하기 위한 성능의 비교와 평가 기능을 갖추고 있는 것이 주요한 특징이다. 또한 시각위치변경, 온선. 온면제거 및 음영처리, 고속 애니메이션, 환경구성, 인터프리터 명령어 등의 다양한 기능으로 편리하게 사용할 수 있다.
