올해 2회를 맞이하는 2011금산세계인삼엑스포는 9월 2일부터 10월 3일까지 32일간 금산군 신대리 국제인삼유통센터 일원에서 "생명의 뿌리, 인삼"이라는 주제로 개최된다. 인삼을 통한 금산지역의 경제적 도약과 건강 생명도시로서 금산의 미래 비전을 제시하는 세계적인 수준의 엑스포이다. 자연의 과학이 만든 생명밸런스라는 부제 아래 인삼의 생명산업화의 가능성을 보게 될 행사 속으로 미리 떠나보자.

금산지역은 옥천층군 중심부에 위치하고 있으며 금산화강암체로 명명된 저반형의 화강암 두 암체가 북동부에서 남서부 방향으로 넓게 관입 분포하고 있다. 이 화강암체에 대하여 금산도폭, 무주도폭등에서는 흑운모화강암과 반상흑운모화강암으로 구분하였으며, 진호일외(1995)는 등립 우백질화강암, 반상 흑운모화강암, 반상 홍색장석화강암, 세리에이트 우백질화강암, 세리에이트 홍색장석화강암, 등립 알칼리장석 화강암, 등립 홍색장석화강암, 미아롤리틱 홍색장석화강암, 등립 흑운모화강암 등 9가지로 구분하였다. (중략)

Daejangjeon of Geumsansa Temple was built to store the Tripitaka Koreana, although it does not contain the Tripitaka at present and instead contains a Buddha Triad. According to Geumsansaji (Historical Record of Geumsansa Temple), this structure was originally a wooden pagoda. It is said that Geumsansa became a Buddhist temple due to its tradition of preserving a statue of Buddha and the Buddhist sutras. It is special that the Wooden Pagoda which keeps its ashes turned into a Daejangjeon. Also, it is symbolic that the Daejangjeon is symbolic and it does not store the stura, but this building is symbolic and complex. By analyzing the changes in the building process and religious beliefs, it is possible to ascertain the relationship between faith and religion in the latter phase of the Joseon Dynasty.

This study was carried out to obtain a basic information for the improvement of human health and the development of variety through the analysis of inorganic compounds. contents of amino acids and polysaccarides on three elephant foods, Amorphophallus konjac, collected from Kumsan, Japan and China. The contents of mannan as a carbohydrate of a major component in an elephant food was slightly high in Kumsan than that of Japan and China variety. Degree of VIscosity of an elephant food depends upon the contents of soluble free sugars and amino acids contents of these free sugars were high in the order of Japan, China and Kumsan variety. The analytical results on inorganic compounds in an elephant food were shown as follows; The contents of potasium, phosphate and ferrin of Kumsan variety were shown to be higher than those of China and Japan, while sodium and caleium were appeared to be highter in China chip
