This study examines the ratio of alloy components of six gold crowns discovered in six Silla tombs; Gyo-dong, the north tomb of Hwangnamdaechong, Geumgwanchong, Cheonmachong, Geumnyeongchong and Seobongchong. Concretely, the study looks at whether and how crowns from these various tombs differ in terms of the ratio of alloy components. The analysis of the six Silla crowns found that all of them were made of gold and silver alloy. When comparing the ratio of alloy components in crowns and type of crowns, the Gyo-dong crown which is the oldest of them showed the highest content of gold. Crowns from Hwangnamdaechong and Geumgwanchong in the middle to late 5th century, showed a similar content of gold. Gold content of crowns from the late 5th century to early 6th century tombs decreased in order Cheonmachong, Geumnyeongchong and Seobongchong, thus it confirmed that the older the tomb, the higher its gold content.

This study summarized the results of the conservation treatment and investigation on the production method of the golden crown (Treasure No. 339) excavated from Tomb No. 129 (also known as Seobongchong Tomb) in Noseo-dong, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province. The golden crown from Seobongchong Tomb was discovered during the excavations conducted by the Museum of the Government-General of Korea in 1926 during the Japanese colonial era. It is currently in the collection of the National Museum of Korea. A total of six Silla golden crowns have survived in Korea, among which the crown from Seobongchong Tomb is the only example with a dome-shaped hemispherical decoration attached with a bird ornament while otherwise showing the typical features of Silla crowns. The crown had been repaired following its excavation using metallic materials and adhesives, but due to the partial deformation and damage brought about by the repair materials, it required further conservation treatment. This article describes in detail the overall process of the conservation treatment and the restoration of the original form of the golden crown from Seobongchong Tomb, particularly the method of reinforcing the joints to secure the stability of the crown. It presents the characteristics of the crown's production as revealed in the investigation during the conservation treatment, and further analyzes the relationship of this crown from Seobongchong Tomb with other Silla crowns through a comparison of their production techniques. The investigation revealed that the crown was primarily decorated with golden sequins at the time of its production. At a later point some of the sequins in the upright ornament were replaced with comma-shaped jade beads and additional comma-shaped jade beads were added to the headband. In order to determine if such modifications to the decoration had occurred with other Silla crowns, the decoration of the six extant Silla golden crowns were investigated. The crown from Cheonmachong Tomb features traces of this same modification to the decoration and possesses other similarities with the crown from Seobongchong Tomb.

지난 10월 24일 대전 소재 선샤인호텔에서 '2017년 제4차 계란자조금관리위원회 대의원회'를 통해 제5대 계란자조금관리위원장에 남기훈 후보가 만장일치로 추대됐다. 더불어 이날 자리에서 대의원회 의장에 오정길 씨(전, 한국양계축산업 협동조합장), 부의장은 김양길 씨(본회 광주전남도지회장), 감사에는 한만혁 씨(무지개농장)와 장재권 씨(자연농장)가 당선됐다. 금년 초 본회 제21대 임원으로 선출되면서 본회 부회장이자 채란위원장에 이어, 2년간 계란자조금관리위원회를 이끌어갈 남기훈 위원장을 만나 앞으로 운영 계획에 대해 들어보았다.

지난 1월 8일 대전에서 개최된 2020년도 계란자조금관리위원회 대의원회에서 제6대 계란자조금관리위원장에 김양길 부의장이 선임됐다. 최근 몇 년간 어려운 산란계 경기 속에서 자조금 거출실적 부진으로 난항을 겪고 있는 가운데 신임 회장으로 선출되면서 앞으로 계란자조금 거출률 향상방안, 거출방법 제고 등 사업 활성화를 위한 활동 계획을 들어보았다.

The people of Silla was described as the descendants of Hwagwan(official of fire) on the tombstone of King Munmu(文武王), and Gim Yusin(金庾信) was described as the descendants of Shaohao Jintian(少昊 金天) and Huangdi Xuanyuan(黃帝 軒轅) on his tombstone. It says that the royal households of Silla and Gaya had common ancestor. Hwagwan was the official who took charge of fire management and the ritual for Antares(${\alpha}$ Sco) in ancient China. Hed founded State Ra(羅國). The name of Silla(新羅) means new State Ra, so he could become the ancestor of the people of Silla. He was the son of Zuanxu Gaoyang. State Gaya(加耶), the fatherland of Gim Yusin had been called Geumgwan-gug(金官國) which means the state of official of metal. Geumgwan was the son of Shaohao Jintian. Silla was the state of Hwagwan and the Gaya was the state of Geumgwan. Hwagwan, the founder of the royal household of Silla was the son of Zuanxu and Geumgwan, the founder of the royal household of Gaya was the son of Shaohao. Zuanxu and Shaohao was the descendants of Hwangdi, so Hwangdi was the common ancestor of Silla and Gaya. Finally Hwangdi became the same ancestor of Gim Yusin and King Muyeol(武烈王) who was the father of King Munmu. The tombstone of King Munmu and Gim Yusin manifests the union of the blood of Gim Yusin and King Muyeol. But it was not the fact but the rhetorical fiction.

The objective of this study was to test the effects of crown material, cement type, the direction in which stress is applied and distribution of luting cement that might lead to cement microfracture using 2D Finite Element Method. Twenty three finite element models with a chamfer margin configuration were generated for a mandibular first molar. Crown models exhibited four crown materials: type 3 gold alloy, Ni-Cr alloy, ceramic and composite resin, and two luting cements: zinc phosphate and glass ionomer cements with a thicknesses of $70{\mu}m$. Modeled crowns were loaded axially or obliquely at unit load of 1 N. Areas and levels of stress concentrations within the cement were determined. Stress in the cement layer at the margins of crowns were higher than those in the area away from the margin. Stress under oblique loads were much higher than under axial load. The stiffer crown material produced higher stress and similarly, higher stress were found in cements with the greater Young's modulus.

Preformed stainless steel crown is an useful restorative material for the treatment of badly broken down primary teeth. However iatrogenic damage to adjacent teeth might occur during the process of tooth reduction. Such damages might lead to plaque accumulation and increase the risks of caries initiation. Especially the damage can make a problem in the first permanent molar. Purpose of this study was to investigate an iatrogenic damage to the first permanent molar during preparation of second primary molar for preformed stainless steel crown. Twelve children restored with preformed stainless steel crown to second primary molar were selected. Contact areas were separated with separation elastics, and tooth surfaces were cleaned. After taking negative impression using vinylpolysiloxane impression material, the specimens were examined by scanning electron microscope for the detection of iatrogenic damage. The prevalence of iatrogenic damage was 66.7% and variable appearances and So we can suggest that when preparing teeth for preformed stainless steel crown, we should be careful about adjacent teeth not to make an iatrogenic damage.

계란자조금관리위원회(위원장 안영기)는 지난 6일 대전에서 2013년 제2차 대의원회의를 개최하고 임원진 선출을 마쳤다. 이날 제3대 계란자조금관리위원장에 안영기 현 위원장이 만장일치 재추대 됐으며 대의원회 의장, 부의장, 감사, 관리위원을 선출했다. 한편, 관리위원장과 대의원회 의장, 부의장, 감사는 각각 2년의 임기를 수행하며 관리위원은 4년간의 임기를 수행하게 된다.
