  • Korean Internet shopping malls, which provide customers not only with convenient shopping experiences but also with purchasing, warehousing, shipping, and customs clearance services, have been playing a significant role in rapidly transforming Korean consumers into global consumers especially in purchasing fashion goods. Utilizing Ajzen and Fishbein(1980)'s Behavioral Intention Model, which postulates that behavioral intention is determined by attitude and subjective norm, this study identified behavioral intentions toward purchasing foreign fashion goods through Korean Internet shopping malls and the differences of behavioral intentions according to consumers’purchasing experiences on the Internet shopping malls. The data were gathered by surveying female university students living in the Seoul metropolitan area, Korea, and 222 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. Mean, standard deviation, factor analysis, t-test, cross tabulation, and $\chi$$^2$ analysis were used. The results indicated that purchasers had more favorable attitudes and subjective norms and higher behavioral intentions than non-purchasers. With respect to attitude, there were significant differences in behavioral beliefs and evaluation of outcomes for the variety and scarcity value factor. With respect to subjective norm, there were no significant differences in normative beliefs and motivation to comply toward friends, people who had purchasing experiences, fashion magazines. and celebrities between the two groups.

  • Luxury products are sold in various online shopping malls in China. Companies utilize celebrities as their advertising models or disclose their CSR information to lower perceived risk. This study scrutinized the effects of CSR information and celebrity models on the relationship between perceived risk and the intention to use online shopping malls. According to the elaboration likelihood model, when consumers perceive high risk, they use the central route to process information and form attitudes. Celebrity models and CSR information as secondary clues may not have a significant effect. To test the hypotheses, a 2 (risk H/L)×2 (CSR)×2 (model) factorial design was employed. Study results found in a low perceived risk situation, CSR information or a celebrity model endorsing their products significantly increased the intention to use the shopping mall (model w/ 3.407 vs. w/o 2.88; CSR w/ 3.29 vs. w/o 2.779). However, in a perceived high-risk situation, their effects were not significant. Therefore, it is noteworthy that celebrity models and CSR information are effective in increasing the intention to use online shopping malls only when consumers use peripheral routes in a perceived low-risk situation.

  • With the advent of the various device types and marketing communication, customer's search and purchase behavior have become more complex and segmented. However, extant research on multichannel marketing effects of the purchase funnel has not reflected the specific features of device User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX). In this study, we analyzed the marketing channel effects of multi-device shoppers using a unique click stream dataset from global online retailers. We examined device types that activate online shopping and compared the differences between marketing channels that promote visits. In addition, we estimated the direct and indirect effects on visits and purchase revenue through customer's accumulated experience and channel conversions. The findings indicate that the same customer selects a different marketing channel according to the device selection. These results can help retailers gain a better understanding of customers' decision-making process in multi-marketing channel environment and devise the optimal strategy taking into account various device types. Our empirical analyses yield business implications based on the significant results from global big data analytics and contribute academically meaningful theoretical framework using an economic model. We also provide strategic insights attributed to the practical value of an online marketing manager.

Appeared to be. The consumers who choose the open SNS market are higher in men than in women, with lower household income, and higher in consumers seeking health and taste. Consumers who choose the closed SNS market were analyzed as consumers who live in rural areas and have a high degree of risk perception for delivery. Consumers who choose existing online shopping malls have high educational background, high personal income, and high consumers seeking taste and economy. • Large global online shopping malls, such as Amazon, offer services in English or in the language of a country when their products are sold. Since many customers purchase products based on the product reviews, the shopping malls actively utilize the sentimental analysis technique in judging preference of each product using the large amount of review data that the customer has written. And the result of such analysis can be used for the marketing to look the potential shoppers. However, it is difficult to apply this English-based semantic analysis system to different languages used around the world. In this study, more than 500,000 data from Amazon fine food reviews was used for training a deep learning based system. First, sentiment analysis evaluation experiments were carried out with three models of English test data. Secondly, the same data was translated into seven languages (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, German and English) and then the similar experiments were done. The result suggests that although the accuracy of the sentimental analysis was 2.77% lower than the average of the seven countries (91.59%) compared to the English (94.35%), it is believed that the results of the experiment can be used for practical applications.
