The Relationship between the Stage of Exercise Behavior Change and Physical Self-Concept and Self-Efficacy of Casino Security Employees (카지노 시큐리티 종사자의 운동변화단계에 따른 신체적 자기개념과 자기 효능감의 관계)

  • This study was designed to investigate the relationship between the stages of exercise behavior change and physical self-concept and self-efficacy of security employees in hotel casinos. The sampling was drawn from employees at 8 casinos which had more than 30 employees. Participants were selected by convenience sampling method and they completed questionnaires about Physical Self-Concept and Self- Efficacy by self-administration method under supervision of trained researchers SPSS 16.0 (Statistical Package for the Social Science) was used for data analysis in the present study. Reliability and validity were examined for the present study. The principle component factor analysis and varimax rotation were used for the present study. Eigen value 1.0 was the criterion for selecting factors. Chi-square (X) 2 test was utilized for measuring the difference in gender and types of job duties at the stages of exercise behavior change. One-way ANOVA was employed to examine the relationship between the stages of exercise behavior change as an independent variable and physical self-concept and self-efficacy as dependent variables. The Scheffe method was used to determine mean differences of groups as a follow-up test. Multiple regression analysis was utilized to test the difference of physical self-concept as dependent variable and self-efficacy as independent variable. To verify hypothesis for the study, a statistical significance level of $\alpha$=.05 was used. The results were as follow: first, there were differences found for gender and types of job responsibilities in the stages of exercise behavior change. Secondly, as security employees progressed through the stages of exercise behavior change, their physical self-concept and self-efficacy improved. Finally, physical activity and body fat had significant main effects on self-efficacy.

An educational needs analysis of precautions against of safety accidents for school foodservice employees in the Jeonbuk area using Borich priority formula and the Locus for Focus Model (Borich 요구도와 The Locus for Focus Model을 이용한 전북지역 학교급식 조리종사자의 안전사고 예방관리를 위한 교육요구도 우선순위 분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to analyze the priorities for educational content regarding precautions to be taken to prevent safety accidents for employees in school foodservice using the Borich priority formula and the Locus for Focus model. Methods: A survey was conducted in February 2019 on 194 employees in elementary school and 122 employees in middle- and high school foodservice in the Jeonbuk area. Demographic characteristics, status of safety accidents, safety education, and their importance and performance levels were assessed using a self-administered questionnaire. The priorities for the educational content on precautions to prevent safety accidents were based on a 3-step analysis method, including the paired sample t-test, Borich priority formula, and the Locus for Focus Model. Results: The average perceived importance of the precautions to be taken against safety accidents of employees in elementary-, middle-, and high schools was higher compared to the average performance of the employees (p < 0.001). The top priority for elementary school employees was caution against falls during the cleaning of the gas hood and the trench in the kitchen. In addition, 'awareness of chemical signs' was added as one of the top priorities of middle- and high school employees. The second highest priority items were 'do stretching', 'safely adjusting workbench height', 'keeping the right attitude', 'using assistive devices when moving heavy things', and 'checking the material safety data sheet', which were the same for all elementary, middle- and high school employees. Conclusion: Thus, to improve the educational preparedness of employees in the area of safety precautions, eight safety/accident prevention items should be included in the safety education program.

Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior Status on Oral Health Care of Geriatric Care Workers in Long-Term Care Facilities (장기요양시설 요양보호사의 구강건강관리에 대한 지식, 태도, 행동)

  • The aim of this study was to assess the oral health knowledge, attitude and behavior among geriatric care workers in long-term care facilities. A self-administered questionnaire was obtained from 212 geriatric care workers attending a professional education program of 2014 dementia pilot project. The questionnaire consisted of 4 parts of the training experience (2 items), knowledge (16 items), attitude (13 items), and behavior (4 items) on oral health care. Collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVA using SPSS Statistics ver. 20.0. The percentage of educational experience on oral care was 27.9% and most respondents answered that they have received the education about denture cleaning (98.3%) and brushing method (91.4%). The average knowledge score was $10.88{\pm}1.70$, and respondents showed high-level agreement in 8 of the 10 items in attitude questions. They revealed difficulties in providing oral care to the elderly people because of their lack of knowledge. The deficiencies of knowledge about oral care would have a decisive effect on not only oral and general health, but also quality of life of the elderly people. Therefore, it is required to develop professional oral care training programs for geriatric care workers and support systems should be legalized.

Study on the Real Condition and Understanding of the Early Childhood Educator About the Personality Education (인성교육에 대한 영유아교사의 인식 및 실태 연구)

  • Although this research puts the emphasis on the importance of the personality education, and lacks the understanding of the early childhood educator about the personality education, and essentially the content analysis of the direction of the operation of the personality education hasn't been performed. Therefore through the research study once again we collected the opinion of the early childhood educator about the personality education. As the object of the investigation, we questioned 208 teachers who work in the Daycare Center in the S city, and applied the SPSS 18.0 program. The result is as the following. First, there was a lot of concern in the understanding of the early childhood educator about the personality education, and that it was in need. The reason for emphasizing the personality education appears to be the "Individual Egoism", and the "Parental Value" as the factor of influence, and "Whole People Human Development and Health Promotion" as a factor of helping, and "Courage" as the inner information of the information of the personality education, and "Manner" as the outer information. Secondly, more than the majority was carrying out the personality education in the real state of the early childhood educator on the personality education and it happens to be that the instructional material is the "Material related to the personality education", "Conversation" as the teaching learning method, "Once per week" as number of times, "Within 30 minutes" as lead time, "Teacher in Charge" as the host, and "Uncooperative parents" as the difficulty. Lastly the accurate time of demanding the early childhood educator about the personality education happens to be from "Infancy", and the teaching method is "Teaching by making a connection with the family", and that "Leading by example of the teacher" is the factor of consideration.

The Survey of Awareness and Necessity on Introduce Home Physical Therapy in the Long-term Care Insurance (노인장기요양보험제도 내 가정방문물리치료 도입에 관한 인식도 및 필요성 조사)

  • This study aims to investigate the awareness and needs of patients as consumers and therapists as providers on the introduction of home physical therapy in the long-term care insurance. The survey participants were 96 patients and 132 physical therapists to a questionnaires, we analyzed for frequency of each questionnaire about awareness and necessity. As a result of the test, they considered that physical activity support services provided by nurse and nurses aid ware not specialized enough(pt 60,4%, PT 75,4%) and quality therapy should be available through a home physical therapy(pt 47.9%, PT 59.2%). Also, patients responded that the priorities to improve long-term care insurance were given to lowering expenses(35,4%) and expanding coverage of subjects(32.3%) while the physical therapists responded that professionals should be expanded(73.8%) and diverse rehabilitation services(20.2%) and a rehabilitation team should be introduced. They responded that the reasons of home physical therapy were needed that it was hard for patients to visit medical centers(PT 30.0%) themselves and it would be improvable for them to get physical function in elderly(pt 47.1%) through the service. In conclusion, as most patients as well as physical therapists responded that home visit therapy services should be introduced and their awareness of it was very high, it is suggested that the service should be quickly introduced as soon as possible.

The Effects of Interpersonal Relationships on Job Satisfaction of Home-visiting Care Helpers (방문 요양보호사의 대인관계가 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was to investigate the effects of interpersonal relationships on job satisfaction of home-visiting care helpers and the category of interpersonal relationships was subdivided into elderly clients, guardians, colleagues and directors considering the person-to-person nature of home-visiting care helper's job characteristics. A group of 336 care helpers who engaged in home-visiting care service providing facilities in Daejeon City was selected as a research subject, and the data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 program using reliability, frequency, correlation and hierarchical multiple regression. The results for the final analysis revealed that the effect of socio-demographic features was not significant while, among characteristics of job performances, work priority, turnover experience, and career choice reasons turned out to have significant impacts on job satisfaction. In particular, interpersonal relationships except the one with guardians were found to be the most influential variables and the effects of those relationships on job satisfaction were significant. The influencing power was stronger in relationships with director, elderly clients, and colleagues in order, and the job satisfaction level was higher as they were in better relationships with director, elderly clients, and colleagues. The results of this research shows that it is necessary to set an atmosphere where harmonious interpersonal relationships can be formed inside and outside of facilities in order to improve job satisfaction of home-visiting care helpers.

충북지역 보건진료원이 업무 분석적 연구

  • 본 연구는 보건진료원의 업무를 분석하기 위하여 충북에서 활동하고 있는 보건진료원 136 명을 대상으로, 설문지를 흥해 자료수집을 하였으며 백분률, 평균값, 표준편차로 자료처리를 하였다. 조사기간은 1968 년 8월 1일부터 11월 20일까지 했으며 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 보건진료원의 일반적 특성과 업무에 관련 된 배경을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 보건진료원의 일반적 특성으로 연령 분포는 30 - 34세가 30.1 %로 가장 많았고 결혼 상태는 기혼자가 61.8 % 였다. 종교는 기독교가 42.6% 로 많았고 학력은 3 년제 간호전문대학 과정졸업 자가 78.9 %로 많았다. 현 가족과 동거상태에서 배우자와 자녀가 함께 사는 경우가 76.5% 였고, 보건진료원의 경력은 1 년 마만이 41.2 %로 가장 많았다. 보건진료원의 업무에 관련된 배경을 살펴보면, 근무지역조건은 갑지가 65.3 % 였고, 현 거주지는 보건진료소내 숙소가 대다수 였다. 보건진료소는 신축된 건물이 대다수였고, 보건진료소 시설은 '그저 그렇다'고 대답한 수가 가장 많았다. 보건진료소 운영협의회 수당은 월 $5\sim7$만원인 경우가 85.6 % 였다. 2. 보건진료원의 보건의료제공 실태는 다음과 같다. 보건진료원이 현재 담당하는 주민수는 $501\sim1,000$ 명이 35.3 % 이고, 1,500 명 이상의 주민을 담당하는 경우도 32% 였다. 보건진료소를 이용한 주만은 연평균 1,956 명이고, 보건진료소 평균 이용건수는 1,812건이다. 보건진료원의 직업만족도는 만족한다가 40.6%로 대체로 긍정적으로 나타났다. 3. 보건진료원과 보건의료 관련기관과의 관계는 다음과 같다. 지역주민의 보건의료자원 이용 정도는 보건소 진료소가 1 위로 가장 많았고, 약국, 약방, 의원, 보건지소의 순위로 나타났다. 보건의료 관련기관과의 협조가 잘 되고 있지 않다고 응답한 경우도 있는데, 보건소(19.7 %), 보건지소( 20.2%) 민간보건 의료기관(22.4 %)이며, 그 이유를 알아서 협조가 잘 이루어지도록 노력해야겠다. 원하는 감독체계는 보건소장(47.3 %), 보건간호 전문가(37.2 %)로 나타났으나 이는 현재있는 감독체제내에서 생각한 것이며 간호전문가에 의한 새로운 감독체제를 원하고 있었다. 많이 이용하는 의뢰 기관은 병원(52 %), 의원(24.4 %), 보건소(10.2 %) 순이었다. 4. 보건진료원의 업무 영역별 수행정도를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 보건진료원의 업무 영역을 7개 영역으로 구분하여 수행평균 평점을 보면통상질환 관리가 3.70점, 사업운영 관리 및 지도가 3.44 점, 사업계획 수립이 3.19 점, 지역사회 조직 및 개발이 3.17 점, 모자보건 및 가족계획이 3.14 점, 지역사회 보건관리가 3.09 점, 보건 정보체계 개발이 3.02 점으로 나타났다. 위의 결과에서 지역사회 보건관리가 3.09점으로 통상질환 관리 3.70 점 보다 낮게 나타났는데 이는 일차보건의료 사업 정착의 과도기적인 현상으로 생각하며, 이 부분을 더 많이 수행해야 할 것으로 사려된다. 5. 보건진료원의 업무 영역별 수행 소요시간의 평균은 다음과 같다. 지역사회 조직 및 개발 3.48 시간, 사업계획 수립 3.55 시간, 지역사회보건 관리 6.74 시간, 모자보건 및 가족계획 5.55 시간, 통상잘환 관리 15.94시간, 사업운영 관리 및 지도 4.39시간, 보건정보체계 3.62 시간으로 나타났다. 보건진료원이 통상질환 관리와 더불어 예방활동을 효율적으로 할 수 있도록 적절한 행정적, 교육적 지원이 있어야 한다고 생각한다.

A Study of Fashion and Textile Design Education in the UK (영국의 패션 및 직물 디자인 교육에 관한 연구)

  • 우리나라 복식산업의 전문인력 양식은 주로 대학교나 전문학원에서 이루어지고 있으며 수적인면에서는 충분한 인력이 양성되고 있다. 그러나 질적인 면에서 산업체에서 요구되는 역량을 가진 전문인은 부족한 편이다. 이에 따라 산업체의 요구에 부합하는 인력야성을위하여 교육과정의 개선이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실기교육 산학협력 및 산업체 현장실습이 활발히 이루어지고 있는 영국의 복식관련학과에 대하여 조사해 봄으로써 우리 교육의 개선방향을 모색하고자 한다. 영구의 경우 다양한 자격증 및 학위과정이 개설되어있으나 본 연구에서는 우리나라 학사학위에 해당되는 BA 및 Bsc만대상으로 하였으며 설문조사 문헌조사 및 사례연구를 통하여 현황 및 교과과정을 분석하였다 영국의 복식관련학과들은 그 교과과정 및 내용에 따라 크게 6개 전공분야로 분류되었으며 각 하과는 다시 세분화되어 전문성이 있는 교육이 이루어지고 있었다 또한 수업연한 및 과정의 형태에 따라 5개 유형으로 분류되었다, 이유형 중 특히 일년간의 현장실습을 학위과정으로 포함시켜 의무적으로 산업체에 근무하도록 되어있는 Sandwic Mode는 적극적인 산학협력의 한 형태로 매우 효율적으로 평가되는 교육체계이며 여러다른 학문 분야에서도 널리 활용되고 있는 체계이다. 교수진의 경우 전임교원이 수적인 면에서 다소 부족한 것으로 나타났으나 관련 산업체 인사 등을 시간강사로 고용함으로써 이를 보완 할 뿐 아니라 산학연계를 이루고 있었다. 또한 전임교원의 경우 주로 학사 혹은 석사의 학력을 가지고있었다. 그러나 모든 전임교수 뿐 아니라 시간강사의 경우도 산업체 경력을 필수 적으로 가지고있어 고학력위주의 우리나라 실정과는 매우 상이했다. 교과과정에 대한 사례연구에서 직물디자인에 집중된 2개 과의 교과과정을 보았으며 그중 한 개 과는 다시 편물 프린트 및 직물 디자인의 3분야로 세분화되어 심도 있는 교육이 이루어질 수 있는 것을 살펴보았다 또한 다른 3개의 예에서 볼수있듯이 2개 이상의 전공코스를 도입하여 공통과목과 전공 코스 과목을 둠으로써 시설 및 인적 자원의 활용 등 운영상 효율성을 추구함을 알수 있었다 또한 학생들의 경우 전문화된 코스의 선택을 할수 있게 하였다 이런 실례는 전문인력양성이 매우 필요하고 따라서 전공코스제의 도입의 필요성이 대두되고 있는 이시점에서 매우 유용하게 이용될수 있으리라고 생각된다. 영구의 교육이 우리나라 실정에 그대로 적용될 수는 없지만 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 시사점을 고려하여 우리교육을 개선해 나갈 수 있으리라고 생각한다. 첫째 교수진 인적 물적상황 및 지역적 상황등을 분석하여 각 대학별로 그 특성에 맞는 세분화되고 심도있는 전공교육과정을 개발 발전시켜 야 할 것이다 둘째 산업체 방문 산업체인사와의 면담 및 특강 등 산학협력을 좀더 적극적으로 모색하여야 할 것이다. 셋째 학생들의 산업체 현장 연수를 실질적으로 도입하여 산업체의 인력요구에 적극적으로 대처 할수 있어야 하겠다.

Relationship of Oral Health Education Experience to Oral Health Awareness among Shipbuilding Workers (조선소 근로자들의 구강보건교육경험 유무에 따른 구강보건인식의 차이)

  • It's basically meant to make a contribution to the promotion of the oral health of shipbuilding workers and to the improvement of oral health education planning, industrial oral health policy setting and the related system, as it seems that the working environments of shipbuilding workers are very harsh due to the unique characteristics of their working process. The subjects in this study were the workers who were selected by convenience sampling from shipbuilding companies and their subcontractors in South Jeolla Province that numbered 10. The workers were surveyed to determine the relationship between their oral health education experience and oral health awareness, and the findings of the study were as follows: Out of the 310 workers investigated, 89.4 percent had no experience to receive oral health education, those who had no experience to receive oral health education fell behind in terms of oral health knowledge, awareness, concern and perception of oral health importance, and there was close correlation among their oral health knowledge, awareness, concern and perception of oral health importance. Those without oral health education experience cited lack of opportunities as the reason, the workers preferred to receive education about the prevention and treatment of dental caries, and their favorite educational method was lectures given by dentists, the workers who had oral health education experience had a more intention to receive oral health education than the others who hadn't.

Teachers' Perceptions about Priority and Hinderance of Science Objectives (교사들이 인식하는 과학과 목표의 영역별 중요도와 장애요인)

  • Teachers' perceptions about curricular objectives are very important to achieve given educational objectives. This study examined teachers' perceptions about priority and hinderance of science objectives. The national science curriculum stated four areas of objectives: inquiry, knowledge, attitude, and STS. A total of 76 elementary and 217 secondary teachers were responded to questionnaire developed for this study. Non-parametric statistics, such as Friedman test, Kruskal-Wallis test, and chi-square test were used by using SPSS/PC program. Teachers in general ranked the inquiry first among the four areas at their perception on the national curriculum, on themselves, and on their instructions. Elementary teachers ranked inquiry higher than secondary science teachers, while secondary science teachers ranked knowledge higher than elementary teachers. As factors hindering teachers from achiving the objectives, elementary teachers pointed out overcrowded classroom and secondary science teachers pointed out college and university entrance examination respectively.
