  • 흙은 모든 생명체의 어머니다. 흙이 없으면 어떤 생명체도 살아갈 수 없다. 우리들 역시 흙에서 나서 흙으로 돌아가야 한다. 흙은 보살피고 가꿔가야 할 대상이지 우리가 어떤 이득을 얻기 위해서 개발하거나 파괴하는 대상이 아니다. 그런데 경제적 이득을 얻을 수 있다는 자본주의 논리 하에서 자행되는 무분별한 자연파괴행위는 21세기 최대 과제인 '생명의 위기'를 자초한 결과를 가져왔다. 생명의 어머니인 흙이 병들어 신음하고 있는데 그 품안에 있는 모든 생명들이 온전할 리 없다. 어떻게 '생명의 위기'를 극복할 수 있을까.

  • 최근에 들어와 언제, 어디서나, 무엇이든, 누구라도 하나의 단말로 연결되는 유비쿼터스 시대가 본격적으로 도래하고 있다. 유비쿼터스 시대의 개막은 교육 환경에서도 적용되는데 언제 어디서나 수월성, 보편성, 보충 교육 등 다양한 학습 서비스를 학습자 스스로 선택해 참여함으로써 교육 부문의 유비쿼터스 서비스 모델을 도출하고 극복해야 할 과제를 분석하여 유비쿼터스 시대의 교육환경에서의 바람직한 대응방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 적응적 웹기반 기법에서 학습자의 반응이나, 탐색 행동의 근본적인 원인이 되는 학습 동기, 지각 등에 대한 판단을 정확히 할 수 없기 때문에, 학습자에게 완전히 적응적인 수업 환경을 조성해 주는 데는 한계가 있다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위한 대안으로 학습자간 상호작용이나 협동 학습을 지원하는 웹기반 교수 시스템이 제안되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹기반 환경에서 학습자들간의 협동학습을 효과적으로 지원하는 적응형 교수 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템은 협동학습 공간에서 주어진 과제를 수행하기 위해 발생되는 학습자들의 대화와 서로간의 상호작용을 분석하여 적절한 조언을 제공함으로서 협동학습이 효과적으로 이루어 질 수 있도록 지원한다.

  • 최근 각종 미디어를 통해 "Sick House" 또는 "Sick House 증후군"이란 말을 종종 들을 수 있다. 이것은 Sick House 문제로 인한 피해의 심각성과 높은 사회적 관심을 나타내는 것이다. 이러한 배경 하에 2002년 7월에는 건축기준법의 개정이라는 형태로 법률적인 규제가 실현되기에 이르렀다. 이 법률의 개정을 계기로 Sick House 문제극복을 위한 각종 대책이 시행되고 있다. 이러한 의미에서 Sick House 문제는 전환기를 맞이하고 있다고 말할 수 있다. 이 원고는 이러한 법률의 개정을 둘러싼 주변현황을 포함한 Sick House 문제의 현황과 과제, 그리고 최근의 연구동향을 소개한다.   • 양자 키 분배는 물리적 안전성에 기반을 두어 지속가능한 보안성을 제공한다. 양자내성암호는 양자 컴퓨터로 풀이가 어려운 문제에 기반을 둔 공개키 암호이다. 양자 키 분배 네트워크를 구성하여 안전한 통신을 구현하기 위해서는 키 조합 혹은 인증 단에서 양자내성암호의 적용이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 양자 키 분배 네트워크의 해결 과제를 살펴보고, 이를 극복하기 위한 연구와 표준화 동향에 대해 살펴본다.

  • Improvements on the incumbent R&D project management structure and performance evaluation criteria in the telecommunication and broadcasting area have been called for. There have been attempts to develop alternative R&D project performance evaluation criteria. In an attempt to develop an alternative measure, this study integrates two different perspectives on R&D projects and various criteria currently being used by many foreign and domestic institutes. As a result, we have developed an alternative R&D project performance evaluation instrument. Then, we have applied the instrument to Korean cases in order to validate it. The new R&D project performance evaluation criteria can contribute to an improvement on the management of R&D projects in the telecommunication and broadcasting area.

A Study on Support Models for Invigoration of Local Socioeconomic Communities - Focused on Ddabok Communities in Gyeonggi Province - (지역 사회적경제공동체의 활성화를 위한 지원모델에 관한 연구 - 경기도 따복공동체를 중심으로 -)

  • This study aimed to suggest the tasks which public support groups should fundamentally perceive and develop support models based on it so that socioeconomic activities, which have been spreading in recent years, can settle in local communities. For this aim, this study was proceeded based on Gyeonggi Province, which has established socioeconomic support center at metropolitan councils and local government councils. The demands by Gyeonggi Province residents toward the policies by Ddabok communities and local community invigoration measures have been examined through demand survey. In the analysis, characteristics and support tasks of the demands have been identified based on the survey results and six support models have been developed according to the tasks. The derived tasks are overcoming low understanding of Ddabok communities, low participation in community activities, and poor will to perform socioeconomic practices and satisfying the demand toward community activity areas adjacent to residence. Furthermore, the differences with the residents who have an experience of taking part in the Ddabok Community Project have to be overcome. Based on these study findings, this study suggested that support models of integration style and differentiated style, response to demand style and customization to capability style, and resources-focused style and resources-scattered style are necessary in order for socioeconomic communities like Ddabok communities to settle in local communities.

Understanding STEM, STEAM Education, and Addressing the Issues Facing STEAM in the Korean Context (STEM, STEAM 교육과 우리나라 융합인재교육의 이해와 해결 과제)

  • Since 2011, after beginning of the systematic study on STEAM education, South Korea has developed a number of related programs. At this point we see that this is the time to clarify the challenges. The purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristics of their education through the review of many domestic and foreign papers in order to propose the challenges of STEAM education of Korea. The results are as follows. First, the course of integration cannot be separated by the difference in superiority but should be separated in accordance with the purpose of integration. Second, curriculum integration such as STEAM education is characterized by the emphasis on horizontal linking than vertical depth fusion. Accordingly, the content knowledge and vertical linkages are inevitably weakened. In order to overcome this problem, the key concepts and features that were emphasized in the previous curriculum need to also be emphasized in STEAM training, and the comparative study on the core concept and function of each subjects should be preceded. Third, after looking upon the current situation of our country's fusion research and talent training, the limits and the challenges that need to be overcome has been suggested. Fourth, with the basis on research results, we offered an example of the approach on STEAM education which is applicable to the current situation and proposed the challenges and implications that need to be addressed in the STEAM education of Korea in educational contexts such as curriculum, teaching and learning, and evaluation.

Actual Utilization and Thermal Environment of Greenhouses According to Several Cooling Methods during Summer Season (하절기 온실의 활용실태 및 몇 가지 고온극복 방법별 열환경 분석)

  • This study was performed to find an efficient method to overcome extremely high temperature in greenhouses during summer season. The actual utilization of greenhouses during hot summer season showed that about 21.6% of the investigated greenhouse farms were in fallow state, and most of greenhouse farms were cultivated under the very inferior environment. Thermal environment of greenhouses according to the evaporative cooling method and several assistant cooling methods such as ventilation, shading screen, roof sprinkling were examined. As the each assistant cooling method was used, about 74.8%, 25.9%, and 58.2% of temperatures measured at intervals of ten minutes between ten and seventeen o'clock were above 35$^{\circ}C$. When shading screen and evaporative cooling system were operated, most greenhouse air temperatures were maintained below 35$^{\circ}C$, and showed a drop of 3.8~4.2$^{\circ}C$ as compared with naturally ventilated greenhouse.

  • The Purpose of this study is to investigate and suggest a counseling strategy and practice for solving interpersonal problems of elementary school students that elementary school teachers are now confronted with. In this study, first of all, the actual conditions of interpersonal problems of elementary school students were examined focusing on interpersonal aggressions(violence and victim). The features and problems of existing approaches for solving interpersonal problems of elementary school students were indicated. Although existing approaches for solving interpersonal aggression problems took temporary and external changes, they failed to notice psychological hurts that victims and aggressive victims got. As a fundamental and systematic way for overcoming problems of existing approaches, forgiveness counseling education based on empirical-scientific forgiveness researches was discussed. The Purpose of forgiveness counseling education is to make victims(aggressive victims) overcome the negative responses derived from interpersonal conflict(hurts and victims) and to facilitate them to response positively through experiencing forgiveness psychological process. Lastly, necessary assignments and topics to use forgiveness counseling education as an effective personality education approach were discussed.
