  • Green Infrastructure has been considered as one of strategies for flood mitigation in cities. Although, the diverse benefits of green infrastructure implementation are studies, there is a lack of research on the relationship between spatial composition and configuration of green infrastructure and urban flood mitigation. To address this gap, this study 1) utilized high-resolution satellite imagery to analyze spatial composition and configuration of green infrastructure in highly developed seven cities in South Korea, and 2) conducted an empirical analysis to find the relationship between economic losses from flooding and spatial patterns of green infrastructure and development patterns. The results of this research will be helpful for urban planners to prepare green infrastructure implementation guidelines for effective urban flood mitigation.

  • In this paper, we used MOM-based BIM(Born Iterative Method) algorithm to implement the inverse scattering for the detection of cancer. We adopted two-dimensional breast structure, integral equations and two-dimensional Green's function is solved with MoM(Method of Moment) to analyzing electromagnetic scattering phenomena. In addition, verifying the calculation of developed inverse scattering algorithm and analyzing medical applicability and limitations of the algorithm.

  • In this paper, we developed MoM(Moment of Method) forward solver to implement the inverse scattering by using BIM(Born Iterative Method) for the detection of cancer in human body Especially, we adopted two-dimensional breast structure to analyze electromagnetic scattered phenomena. For the two-dimensional scattering structure, the integral equations is solved with MoM employing two-dimensional Green's function. Also, calculated results are compared with the measured results obtained from breast cancer detecting equipment.
