홈랜드 시큐리티는 비군사적 위협으로부터의 국토안보를 의미하며, 정보보호, 물리보안, 무인경비, 산업 및 재해방지시스템 등을 연계하여 사이버 공격, 산업기술 유출 및 국제테러 등에 효과적으로 대응하는 IT 기반의 융 복합 분야를 통칭하고 있다. 홈랜드 시큐리티의 주요 영역은 여러 가지 분류가 가능할 수 있지만, 항공보안, 대량수송보안, 해양보안, 인프라보안, 사이버보안, 국경보안, 대테러 첩보, 비상대응 등으로 구분할 수 있다. 홈랜드 시큐리티의 영역중 사물지능통신이 제한적으로 활용되고 있으며 향후 활용이 확대될 것으로 예상되는 분야 중 하나는 스마트그리드를 포함한 사회기반시설 분야이다. 사회기반시설은 이미 사이버 보안위협에 노출되어 있으며, 향후 사물지능통신이 보편화되면 사회기반시설은 사이버공격의 핵심대상으로 더욱 부각될 것으로 예상된다. 본 고에서는 사회기반시설의 사물지능통신 현황 및 향후 전망을 살펴보고, 사회기반시설에 대한 사이버 보안위협 사례와 대응 현황에 대해서 소개한다.

Grid services offer SSO(single sign-on) mechanism using GSI(grid security infrastructure) based on X.509. However. portal applications in web environment use ID and password model for single sign-on. Grid portals means a system which provides grid services by integrating portlet contents on single web interface. In existing research such as GAMA and PURSE, SSO for a whole grid portal is figured out in the way that user is authenticated by ID and password in front and call grid service via GSI at back-end. Other types of web applications outside of portlet framework cannot unfortunately access grid service in SSO way in the existing researches, because the SSO mechanism is developed for portlet framework only. In this paper, we suggest a SSO mechanism based on ID and password model, which forwards authentication information and a GSI token for grid access among portlets and grid-enabled web applications. This mechanism is applied to MGrid for SSO, which consists of applications of java web start, applet, servlet, and etc. as also as portlets.

The demonstration project of the electrical grid for Smart grid is progressed, the smart digital appliances AV technology, Smart home energy management technology charging the management function of complex energy for the automation management of air conditioning and heating, humidity and air, the health care technology charging the design of housing for the elderly and disabled and the measurement of individual bio information, and the Smart home security technology dealing with the biometric security and motion sensors, etc. have been studied. The power monitoring terminal which uses a variety of wired and wireless networks and protocol is the target additionally to be considered in addition to the security vulnerabilities that was occurred in the existing terminal. In this research paper, the author analyzes the cryptographic techniques corresponding to the smart meter occurred by the problems that are exposed on the outside which are vulnerable to physical attacks, and intends to propose the design of the security systems for the Smart meter terminal being able to maximize the efficiency of the terminal.

Korea is concerned with information security industry due to recent leak-out private information of 3 card companies. Executives are aware of damage from breach of security such as personal data spill, is more dangerous than any other financial risks. The information security industry, which was limited in physical security and network security formerly, is evolving into convergence security of public and facility security industry. The field of interest has also been changed into security of smart phone and intelligence image recently, from firewall or Anti-virus. The convergence security is originally about access control of facility, but recently its demand has been increased mostly by public institutions and major companies. The scope of the industry also varies from finance, education, distribution, national defense, medical care to automobile industry. The market of convergence security has been expanded and new various products and services of security of intelligent vehicle, 'U' healthcare, finance, smart grid and key industries are also developed. It is required to create and enhance of new curriculum and cultivate human resources for the development of knowledge information security industry. Raising standard of education and security consciousness of the nation is also necessary to strengthen the global competitiveness.
